Wonderful, all of the Nationals came to play last night and Washington won 16-4.
Finally a good game. These are fun to watch for a change, hope that we can keep going tonight in New York.

Dang, The Nats lost 2 in a row to the Mets. We have to do better. Juan Soto is just awesome with hits and homers but it has to be everyone. Now we move on to Baltimore with a partial game to complete plus 2 more games so 3 games are up for grabs.

Go Nats!:hahaha::hahaha::hahaha::hahaha:

Yesterday all the playoff participants were determined. The final series kicks off on Saturday. This is certainly not the same level of play as America, but it's interesting to watch live.:)

Rats! Washington gave up 4 runs to Atlanta last night in the Ninth inning to lose 7-6.That was a really bad finish to a pretty good game. We played pretty well but the pitching just went to hell in the 9th.. Hope we can get one back tonight. Luis Garcia, only 20 years old. became the first MLB player born in the 2000's to hit a home run.

Last night we got a game back from Atlanta 8-5. Tonight the game was rained out, to be played later in September. A night off!

Yesterdays game with Miami was cancelled. Tonight we start a three game series with Boston in Boston. We lost the last game with Miami 3-2, tough loss. Hopefully we can improve our run scoring. We certainly need it.

Go Mats!:):):):):)

The shortest baseball championship in the country has ended today. Perhaps there will be a country cup in October.
I envy you.

My online name at most sites is 94EXPOS. If not for Bud Selig, Jeff Loria and a few others, the Expos would never have left Montreal. I remember my father having bought or signed up to buy season tickets for a new downtown stadium that was in the planning until Loria killed it. Selig forced the players to strike in 94 as he was trying to destroy their players union. That was the beginning of the end and 10 years later the Expos ceased to exist. Hoping one day they come back to Montreal before I am Dust In The Wind.

I know how you feel. I was a kid back in 1958 and the Washington Senators moved from Washington to Minnesota. I thought it was the end of the world. How could they possibly do that to me? Then in 1960 we lucked out and got an American league expansion team.
Baseball was back. In 1970 the new version of the Senators moved again, this time to Texas to become the Rangers. I was once again without my Senators. I live in Silver Spring Maryland, about 30 minutes from old RFK Stadium in Washington. I was without a team again.. About the end of the 70's I actually became an Orioles fan. It took that long. I went to several games a year first to Memorial Stadium and later to new Camden Yards .I saw Cal Ripken during his 2131 year and watched on TV as he broke the record. Then in 2005 the Expos moved to Washington. 33 years later I had a home team again, the Nationals this time which the past Washington teams were called from time to time. Yea Nats!. It took almost 10 years for me to support Baltimore and 1 day to come back to Washington. I really support them. Last year was magical and I will remember the World Series win fondly for the rest of my life.
Sorry that we ended up with your Expos but I really appreciate you loaning them to us. I hope you got some enjoyment out of the World Series.

Go Nats!:):):):):):)

Without any original players from the 04 Expos left.....not much. Better than the Yankees winning it again and yes you Washington fans have suffered enough. Tampa Bay Rays should be moved to Montreal Great team that gets very little local appreciation.

I never thought that many teams changed cities so often. But when I played myself I liked Cal Ripken it too. I loved the powerfully hitters from infield position.

In Boston the Nationals won 1 of 3. We are in pretty bad shape now with the season already half over. Now we are in Philly for 4 games. If Washington does not start a winning streak soon its all over for this shortened year,

Washington has won 4 of the last 5 games I think , sounds great but they are actually in pretty bad shape for getting a playoff spot. The Nats have about 18 or 19 games left and probably need to win 15 of them, a pretty tall order. I wish them well.

The last week was very bad for Washington. We are really out of contention now.
It's probably still mathematically possible but highly unlikely. Hey, after this afternoon the Nats have won one in a row!

I've never played baseball, and I don't know the rules. This game is not very popular in our region. However, we have a similar game - Lapta

Baseball is not very popular but the national championship and cup are held regularly. Now it is difficult to find a person who knows the rules of lapta.:)

Lapta? I'll have to google it later. Washington has won 4 in a row but is on the ropes for the playoffs. More tomorrow, 5 games left in the 60 game season.

The Nationals are out of the playoffs this year. We really didn't do too well, certainly compounded by the loss of 10 players to the injured list. That is a bunch! Today is the beginning of the 16 team World Series. That should be quite an event.
Maybe Washington can get in next year.

Nats are my team. I was a season ticket holder for the first 3 years. They are going to have to sign some free agents, because the farm is barren for major league ready prospects. Baseball America says Washington has the 30th rated Minor League system in all of baseball. It could be tough going for awhile. GM Rizzo is going to have to work some magic.

Yes ,their farm system is really down now and I am sure that it will be a priority to get a lot of young talent loaded up for the future. I am pretty sure that the Dominican Republic will be well represented. We do some players now but at what cost? We do not have much in the way of trade bait do we.

Go Nats!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
