And Hatton wins back to back. Can't say the kid isn't a talent.

And now DJ is leading after round 2 of the WGC- HBC Champions after shooting a 9 under 63. He's already won 5 WGC Championships. I hope he wins this, and wins The Masters in April!

Crazy - Johnson was up 6 shots at the final turn, but scored a final round 77 in losing to Justin Rose's 67. Won't catch the scrutiny of history since it's not a major, but that is a huge comeback.

This seems to be the throwback to the early 2000s week. Tiger playing quite well despite a few hiccups. Mike Weir came in 15th in the Australian PGA Championship. All its missing is Singh, Furyk and Els and then we're covered.

Hopefully a while longer :)

MikeWeir has played about 6/7 european tour events and not played well, must be really hard for him. But credit to carry on something he loves that has become so hard to earn a living.

RIP Tommy Horton

Former Ryder Cup golfer Tommy Horton has died at the age of 76.
Horton, who lived in Jersey, played for Great Britain and ireland in the 1975 and 1977 Ryder Cups - both of which were won by the United States.
He also won four European Tour events and 23 events on the European Seniors Tour - topping its money list in 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999.

Saw Tommy H play at Woburn a few years ago on the Seniors tour. Great player who got better with age.

I walk with his brother at the Memorial every year and have met Mike a few times. Very nice guy. Just an unfortunate injury to his elbow that made him completely change his swing due to ligament damage.

Weirsy has had a few decent finishes recently though. T35 in Fiji with a bad back, he shot 4 under in a Monday Qualifier for the Shriners Open, and then he had the T15 in Australia.

He got an invite to the CareerBuilder Challenge in January where we won in 2003 and will probably get one to Pebble as well. He needs to make the most out of those invites.

World rankings for Tiger wouldn't matter he's going to get invites at every event. Pretty sure if your a past winner you get entry to the event for pretty much life.

plus earnings alone he's in the events. glad to see him back and going well. nobody wants to see anyone injured or hurt and cannot be competative

bring on 2018
