Maryland... why would you do that? Cost me the second half by going for it on 4th and 12 on the 12 yard line instead of just kicking the field goal which would have covered the second half total... that's frustrating.

Yeah man, stuff like that is brutal. On the other hand usf tried to score with just a minute left while winning huge, and they did score. Won me the second half in that game, and changed the 2nd half usf from a push to a win. It all evens out I suppose. Still is frustrating though.

Taking the halftime line in the umass/Florida international line because it lines up with my umass bet. Buy out. Kind of want to buy out of smu too if they score to make it a possible buy out, but I may wait on that and see how things are at the half. What a dumb play they did, gave them a free td.

Georgia -10 second half

Ohio state -6.5 second half. I don't think msu has r he offense to hang. I expected this line to be between 9.5 and 10.5, so I'll gladly take this.

19-11 today. a tad over 7.5 units after juice loss and .2 units from 2 buyouts

Win - Sht - Oregon -10, Wisconsin -24, Boise state -14
Loss - Sht - Georgia -14, osu -10, Washington -4
Loss - Auburn -2.5
Win - Texas -10
Loss - Smu -11
Win - Osu -20
Win - Buffalo +4
Win - Wm/toledo under 75
Loss - Oklahoma/Kansas over 66.5
Loss - Cal/Oregon over 45 hook
Win - Usf -6 second half
Win - Wisconsin -13.5 second half
Win - Lsu -10 second half
Win - Usf/uconn over 23 second half
Win - Maryland -4 second half
Loss - Maryland/Rutgers over 23.5 second half

Win - Osu - 6.5 second half

Not a lot of shockers today. I did lose 4 bets from teams going for it on 4th for absolutely no reason instead of a field goal, and from missed pat's so that's a bummer, but I'll take 19-11 everyday with no complaints.

Biggest let down of the day... northern Illinois being up 17 to 3, which in itself isn't great since it was against ball state... then getting absolutely blown out the second half, at home.... against ball state... yikes. I should have bought out of the 2 bets when they started to choke. Should have bought out of auburn too. They outplayed florida, but had 2 busted plays and that was the difference. I should have bought out on like the 5th or 6th turnover in that game because it was clear something weird was happening. Oh well.

First thoughts

Virginia +1 @ Miami I don't understand this line at all. Miami has just gone deeper and deeper into suckville. Virginia has played well lately, giving nd a good game. This line just seems super fishy.

Maryland -4.5 @ purdue. Did Maryland really get back to how they were the first few weeks? Purdue is in a bad spot offensively. Something tells me this will be a sloppy game.

Washington state +3 @ Arizona state. How will Arizona state handle a team with a high offense?

Washington -6.5 @ Arizona. Washington has lost twice, including last week. The week after that first loss they covered by like a million points against after solid team. Will they have something to prove after the stanford visit?

Texas Tech +11 @ Baylor. Huh? Why is Baylor a double digit favorite here? This line seems off, by a considerable amount

Byu -4.5 @ usf. This seems pretty generous to me. 3 points off what it should be in my opinion.

Alabama -17 @ Texas a&m. First real measuring stick game for bama. I'm a bit surprised it's not 20.

Florida @ Lsu -13.5. I think this line is fair. Lsu shouldn't have turnover issues like auburn had. I think this could be gotten for 13 or under later.

Penn state -4 @ Iowa. should be a good game, I think Penn has too much offense though, and their defence is good enough to null Iowas borderline offense.

Just first glance thoughts. Most lines seem about right and will have to wait for line movements to find do advantages.

First Impressions

Thursday -

Texas St (+3.5) @ Home vs UL Monroe - Battle of the 2-3 records - kind of like this dog

Friday -

Colorado (+20.5) @ Oregon - Kind of like Buffaloes - Ducks offense 38 points in last 2 games

Saturday -

Georgia (-24) @ Home vs South Carolina - Bulldogs score 50

Texas (+10.5) vs Oklahoma @ Cotton Bowl - good athletes in this game

Temple (+6) @ Home vs Memphis - Far away from home in Philly are the Tigers - like the Owls in this spot

Duke (-17.5) @ Home vs Georgia Tech - Yellow Jackets haven't covered yet this year

N. Illinois (+7) @ Ohio - this was a 3 point game last year and will be this year

Texas Tech (+10) @ Baylor - like the dog here after winning by double digits

Nevada (-2) @ Home vs San Jose St. - Trend says Spartans win one, lose one, win one , and ???

Western Kentucky (+4.5) @ Home vs Army - Hilltoppers a good dog in this spot

La. Tech (-33) @ Home vs UMass - Minutemen (1-4 vs spread so far)

Iowa (+3.5) @ Home vs Penn St. - Like Haweyes here after losing to Wolverines

Florida (+13.5) @ LSU - good value on a (5-0) dog after winning by double digits

Any thoughts on the game tomorrow night? Louisville Lafayette are the top rushing team in the country, and App state is in the bottom half of the country defending the run. Most money is on app state, the line has dropped to -1

After looking at the game a little closer. The OVER 70 may be a good choice since both teams have scored over 30 in every game they have played so far. 900 yards a game for both clubs. Both teams look pretty good with 7-1 ATS between them. I would say a barn burner for a Wednesday night match up. Get your popcorn ready!

Yeah, I agree. They scored like 75 against each other last year also. I just don't like betting against app state, but I think they lose here, unless they start defending the run like a top 5 rush defence, which I don't see happening. It's almost like a bowl game because both teams know they are the best in the sun belt and will most likely play again are the end of the year.

Yeah it was surprising. I ended up not playing it at all since the nationals/dodgers game was coming on 20 minutes later. I made 1 unit in the Dodgers game but that's because I bought out of the Dodgers and over parlay after the nationals scored the 3rd run to tie it.

I'm about to give a hard look to the nccaf lines for movement now.

People are hammering that Syracuse/Nc state over. I don't see why. Both teams are banged up. I see it being a single digit win by either team depending on how the new nc state qb does. I see it being something like 24 20. Neither team is a tempo team. The second half should be a slow grind, expecially the last quarter.

Syracuse have played 2 decent teams, if you call Maryland decent. In those 2 games they averaged 13 points.

NC state has played 2 decent (I'm using decent very loosely here...) teams, and in those 2 games they averaged 20 points.

4 out of 6 of nc states games have fallen at 57 or under points, 3 of those were 41 or less points.

4 out of 6 of Syracuse games have also fallen at 57 or below points.

That under is looking better and better to me here. A 6 point tease of Syracuse would be +10.5, and the under at 62.5 @+100. Seems very tempting. Even if they both score.
