My issue I had with the HUD not properly locating players on tables for pokerstars has been fixed and all I had to do was turn off auto center on the preferred seating, On Full Tilt though I have it on as auto center and had no issues, Does anyone know why this was a PokerStars only related issue?

PT4 cannot fix itself... the application was running before and then when you restarted it was no longer running, the restart solved the problem - we have seen this hundreds of times, I'm very positive of this. The application remain running in the background if shutdown prematurely, usually the HUD (which is a separate application) was not given enough time to close when this happens.

This is caused by user error, but we can help you fix it. Where did you disable auto-center in PT4 or in the PokerStars application? Did you make sure the seating settings are the same in PT4 and also in PokerStars? These settings must match at all times.

if you have Auto-Center enabled in either PokerStars or Full Tilt then you must also have Auto-Center enabled in the Site Configuration within PokerTracker 4. The way you wrote your post makes it appear as if the settings do not match for Full Tilt yet PokerTracker's HUD still works - thats not possible, unless you just happen to be playing at a table where your normal seat is in the same location as it would be if centered (a coincidence). We suggest you match your FTP settings in PT4's Site Configuration to be sure you will not have any problems.

Rule number one when looking for help for your HUD - always include the site name (which you did), game type, limit, and if its cash or tournament. If this is a Zoom table we need to know that too. You didn't include a screen capture of your tables, so we cannot do any quick debugging - best bet is to send us a support ticket and then we will request logs to look at the cause. There are no known issues from other users who upgraded, this appears to either be a coincidence or unique to your computer - but we can help.

im having issues w my hud when trying to use the Nova theme on Stars. Here are my issues:

1). the HHs aren't loading into PT4 when using nova but do when i use other themes
2). its not showing my hud but shows everyone elses

except that it didn't start working after restarting my computer, i restarted it 3 times and it didn't work, so i gave up and did some other stuff, then tried it later on without doing anything different and it started

Have you considered putting in some feature to make whatever stats are show in HHs customizable for the user? so i could have like f3b and RFIs or whatver automatically.

We considered it, but it was too complicated to offer this option in a reasonable manner because the Hand History Viewer is the equivalent of a dumb terminal, the hand display is created from the original hand history file, we do not have access to the player stats. We had to hard code the addition of stats to add this feature, but in the future if we ever decide to totally redesign the Hand History Viewer then I would imagine your request will be a part of the redesign.

Not really a support question, but I am looking at purchasing PT4 and the link in the OP that has the link to support cardschat via purchasing through the link isn't working? Not sure if its recent, or if there is a new link in the 15 pages of the thread I'll be honest that I just didn't want to go through all of the pages.

I plan to purchase PT4 and of course would be thrilled if it supported the forum in some way

888 and PT4 problem

So I've kust started using 888 and set it up with PT4 everything works hud, importing hands but in the view stats window it claims i only have 97 hands, I've checked the play poker/import window and the hands are being recorded. I go back to view stats and its recording my amount of time playing like 3.5 hrs but still on 97 hands.

I'm on mac as well.

Any ideas?

believe I have fixed the problem by moving the folder, its just weird its was importing but then only recognising 97 hands. Anyway fingers crossed I've got it sorted.

Stop playing and close 888. Click Tools > Setup Assistant. Select Site Configuration. Please complete the configuration steps, at the end all hands that PokerTracker 4 can find will be imported - this will clear up the "log jam" that is affecting your experience.

I am now the proud owner of PT4 , never had many issues with it for what i used it during the trail but also upgraded to a solid state drive and look forward to absolutely no lag although didn't experience it before but might just be running more tables now . Hopefully I don't have to but am sure I'll be back to this thread if I have issues, great to see the tracker support is so great through the forum.

Merge network did a software upgrade in the past day and have changed were the hand history settings are. I am having a hard time getting my PT3 to import hand history or work at all? I have gone into the settings and have tried to match up the hand history on the client and the hand history on PT3. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

I don't think they're keeping up with updates for PT3. Time to upgrade. It's well worth it imo.
