Yea, so am I. Just had a horrible run in some zone poker - all in pre flop and my AJ < J9... I'm fuming right now... Down like $28 on the night, not good at all... :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
I'm a bit nervous on this weekend's games. Not many of the steady teams play their starters in week 4 of preseason. And those teams not too established will play their started for half the game or so. I haven't checked the lines yet, but hopefully they have some decent ones for the games.

Wow - I was so caught up in helping the Wife with her fantasy football draft I thought I bet on the UNDER for the Lions game... I didn't even look at the games I bet!! Glad that was the case, cause the Lions game was high scoring...

Time for some good news - went to go sit down at some Zone cause I was bummed I couldn't waste 2 hours playing MTT. Ended up walking away making $19.60. Time for another parlay on today's college football action!!!

Had a bad session in Zone this evening, losing a buy in. With the poker/betting losses and the poker/betting wins, looks like I'm up 12.24 on the day. I guess I can't complain on that front.

Couple of interesting past days here. Not much on the betting front, for I'm doing some read ups on the football action in the near future. I'm so excited, my wife is more than annoyed with me...
To keep this up to date and running, had a $2 loser parlay on some baseball action. Had a bad down swing in some Zone last night, losing $27.79. On the bright side, had a nice short session today, walking away with a 33.50 win. Bovada increasing a mere $3.71 in these two days....

So I see Bovada has released most of the spread options in betting for the NFL (except the NE/BUF game). None of the straight up options or over/under yet though.
One thing I was playing with on my lunch hour today was the teaser bet. It's a parlay bet where they will "give" a certain amount of points, typically 6 or 7, to your odds, obviously with a lot less payout if you win. I was thinking of doing a teaser bet to start things off. If you give certain teams in certain matchups 6 more points on the spread, things look quite fancy...
I will do some more research when time permits me, but I'm feeling a 4 team teaser to start off the year...

I was playing with teasers... and found a series of Over/Unders that would allow me to tease 13 points!! That's like knocking off almost 2 touchdowns!! I targeted games that would be held indoors or have pretty decent - high offenses, and just picked the over. After viewing it all in my bet slip, I'm thinking it's a good one.

those are called sweetheart teasers. you can do with 3 or 4 team picks in football and basketball +13pts. they are sweet, hence the name
Hahaha yea they are. But what confused me is to why the +13 option was there for some games and not others. If I were to substitute a game in for another game, the +13 option would go away...
If it wins I will for sure be looking forward to another one in the future, that's for sure!
