So I like to over analyze everything (don't tell my wife I said this), and thought it would be fun to break down my progress in sports betting, specifically to football (I plan on sticking strictly to football if you haven't noticed).

Here's the money break down that I've encountered with the entirety of this thread to date:

OVERALL WINNINGS as of 9/10/13: $111.60
OVERALL FOOTBALL Winnings: $103.24
Record of NFL Bets: 8 wins, 5 losses
My losses were to include many $1 parlays with big payouts, just for giggles. Overall, I'd say I'm pretty happy about these numbers.

If you're referring to the 2 for 1 Tuesday promotion, I'm not exactly certain yet, and here's why.

I was bummed when I logged in and didn't have a free bet. I read the fine print, and it stated that if there were a push, then there would still need to be 3 other legs in the bet. That was not the case for me, I had a push.

I don't know if it needs to be straight up or not, but I'm going to give it a go again this week as a teaser. Looks like all lines just came out, reviewing them all now. There wasn't any statement in their fine print about it being straight up or teaser.

yeah looking them over too. i had 2 big teasers hit and i dont have any free bets. one was $10 and one was $20. i reread it and i just feel like it needs to be a 3 team "parlay" because the word teaser isnt mentioned and they are different bets. i was thinking they want you to do a $20 3 team parlay cause that's high risk and better for them.

The teams listed first is who I've picked straight up to win. Most are home games, which is always better in baseball, and I believe the only concerned one was the Tampa vs San Fran game. I figured a west coast team headed east would play in.

what is that mean?

think of it like, if you wanted to win $100, those are the amounts you'd have to bet. so if it's -250, you have to bet $250 to win $100. if it's -158 $158 wins $100 on a straight bet.

I like the saints against the spread, as well as Oakland. I think it's going to be a coming out party and victory for Mr Pryer in Oakland... I do like the Cincy spread, but not as much. If last week is any indication on how Pit will play, and I really wish we could see the future , then yea that bet looks solid

I like to do teaser bets for my larger wagers. If I don't get the bonus after this weeks bet, then oh well, no biggie. I don't think my bankroll is at the level I want it to be to risk $20 on a pure 3 leg parlay yet... hopefully in time.

edit: give me an OU that you're feeling good about and i'll replace that for the bengals. can you see an easy lock?
edit2: maybe cowboys/chiefs under? the cowboys O is anemic and KC wont put up 28 vs Big D im thinkin.....

Unfortunately I don't like any of them as a lock... I was posting a bit about this late last week, foreseeing the odd match ups that occur this week. A lot of higher offenses against poor offenses and a lot of 'anemic teams against each other that could go either way... I actually think the Bengals option is best for ya...

One thing I am noticing is there are a lot of lower 40's Over/Unders out there... I plan on doing a massive sweetheart bet (massive in my terms) teasing 13 points and betting the over. That'd be like 3 games over 30 points total... I think that'll be my money maker this week.

also i was thinking of doing that with all the highest spreads too. maybe one of all the lowest OUs and one of all the highest spreads for $50 each.

The Jax game does worry me a bit. They were pretty putrid last week, and the OAK def is worse than the KC unit. I do like Pryer as well, I think he could put up 14-21 on his own vs the Jags... I will be pondering this one for a bit, may sub this game out for another...

But yes, drooling a bit over this bet

i get a little worried going big with 2 parts of the same big in there. you're basically trying to predict that game perfectly. if we're just looking for the perfect single sweetheart this week to go big on (which is smarter than spreading myself so thin again) then lets put something together.

i def like viks +19. thats a lock. division game.
titans +23. they looks OK last week and houston only looks OK too. that game is going to be semi-close. lock
i like raiders over 26 pretty well and indy over 29.5 looks pretty lockish too.
jets +26 seems like the sucker bet of the week. it's the jets we're talking about here. hard to bet them getting 42 pts i feel.

These look good. The Under SD/PHI game has me a bit worrisome. I'm just huge on the Eagles this year. I love what Chip has done, and they're going to have a lot of overs in the future. 67 is a lot of points to go over, but I could see SD put some points on the board.
