utter pathetic outing by the Pats... time to throw in the flag unless a HUGE miracle happens... I've always hated NE and this just puts more oomph behind that.

HUGE MIRACLE INDEED!!!!!!

Can't believe that has happened that way... only if the Pats can hold off for the next 31 seconds of game clock... ugh!

Pretty excited from this weekend's bets. Crazy ending for NE/CLE game, can't believe it was that close to begin with. Here is where I stand for the bookkeeping:

Carbon: UP 279.61
Bovada: UP 464.76

Pretty exciting stuff. And through all the excitement, didn't realize I passed 1k posts!! Might have to make a bit larger bet next week if the lines are right for a celebration :)

Congrats on the NE game. Looking good for you :D
It hasn't been a great week for me, but if he Panthers can make it I should be ok. I'm pretty bummed about the Lions losing by so much, especially with an 8 point lead at halftime. Oh well, on to the next one :)

Hey there PFB, and welcome.

Feel free to always check in. A9 and I typically post our thoughts and bets before Sunday's action. Now I wouldn't say I always am correct, but as you can see, this year has been pretty nice to me with those 10 point teasers :)

Don't hesitate to join in, post your thoughts/bets, or just ask us our thoughts! We all here to make some of dat moneyyyyy!!!!!

So it's early, but there are a couple of lines I like. Here are some of my thoughts on this up coming week and my 10 point teaser bets:

DEN (-.5) vs SD : Den will be without Wes Welker due to a concussion, but Peyton still has 4 other pretty darn good weapons at his disposal. On a short week and at home, Den is too good to lose this straight up. I'll take that half point fav any day of the week.
PHI (+5) at MIN : Min will be at home without their best player. Even though AP wants to play, the team will look to give their best player the week off in hopes it's only a 1 week injury. PHI is pretty hot lately. Foles is for real in Kelley's system. Also, that PHI def is for real. Check out the numbers on that DEF unit.
CAR (-1) vs NYJ : Car coming off a loss, but still need to keep the pace to get in the playoffs. What better way than returning home to play the utterly horrible Jets. I know the Jets have a good run defense unit, and that is Car's strong suit, but I just feel Car is way too good as of late to fall this one.
KC (+5.5) at OAK : This is more about a solid all around team vs a beaten up Oakland unit. If this was played in KC I'd include it in all my bets. I like KC.

Lost in all my posts this past weekend, I surpassed 1K posts here on CC. I'm thinking of a celebratory bet of maybe 200. I'm thinkin Den, KC, and Car for that. We shall see. :D

Alright guys, as all good things must come to an end eventually, I'm thinking this is that time. I placed a couple of rather larger bets the other night - both involving the Broncos winning - to celebrate my 1k posts here. After the losses happened, I'm thinking now is 'the time'.

Every year towards the end of the season, games get a bit harder to predict. You have to take into consideration playoff races within divisions, injuries to key star players, and some areas the elements of weather. I've posted a bit about the recent changes happening in my life (new house, new job, baby due Jan 1) and the moons must be aligning telling me the season has come to an end.

I'm pretty stoked to know that I will be able to make my goal withdraw of 1K total! I was always used to smaller stakes poker games, and never have withdrew more than like 450ish. When this thread started, I was hoping to catch some poker tour that may come by me locally live (wsop Circuit, MSPT, whatever is around) but now it's looking like that money will buy me a snow blower, grill, and probably baby wipes.

Had a great time guys, and as always if you have any questions on sports betting you know I'll voice my opinion/thoughts if you like. GL out there in the sports betting and on the felts :)

I can feel your pain with the Broncos losing. I didn't have a huge amount bet on them, but I did lose all of my teasers because of that game.
Congrats on being able to withdraw $1k!
I'm pretty much planning on following the Massey-Peabody picks for the rest of this years sports betting since I only have a few more weeks I need to bet to get the bonus on Bovada and their picks have done a lot better for me than mine have :)
Best of luck with the baby! They are a lot of fun, but also a lot of work :)
Also, you said you were on track to get the $50 survive the season bonus and if that is still the case I would seriously consider betting the required $25 on the last couple weeks of the NFL season since that is pretty much free money for you if you do, especially if you still have your free pass which means that if you use that it will be break even at worst.
Thanks for starting this thread, it's been a lot of fun :)
Best of luck!
