Feeling pretty good about today's wagers, and sitting in good position I feel. Although a couple bets are already counted as losses, my two big ones are still up there to win. In addition, I put up an undocumented 13 point teaser that is still in play. My remaining bets seem to concentrate on 3 games left. Here is what needs to happen for me to win out.
-I need DEN to win by more than 6 points, and that game to go over 46 points total
-I need Green Bay to win
-I need SEA to win by more than 5
Winning out looks like it would put me up about $166ish in Bovada and up about $111ish on Carbon. That would be a sweet weekend.

I finally had a good week which I think put me in the black again. I hit my long shot teaser which was nice and just about everything else was a winner. The only two bets I lost was my $10 bet on the Patriots-3 and a $15 teaser that the Jets screwed up. So yeah, good week for both of us

I was thinking the same way you were with this game, but unfortunately we were wrong... Sorry to hear you're starting out the week down some money.
I haven't been too up to date with this week's action. Been a bit busy in real life - we just closed on our first home buying experience Thursday and I honestly forgot football was on lol. Not too happy to see some big players are on a bye week this week, which is never good for sports betting. I'd like to take today to look at some lines and come back with some thoughts this evening.

Unfortunately I also ended up placing a $25 bet on the Bengals winning straight up right before the game started lol. So that was a loss to. I don't know how much you know about the game, but Geno Atkins got hurt early in the game which was a pretty big loss for them. Then in the 4th quarter with about 1:20 left on the clock the Bengals where leading by 3 points when they got a 28 or 38 yard penalty that put the Dolphins in field goal range and put the game into overtime. So all in all I don't think they were bad bets, just some bad luck. At least that is what I would like to think it was lol

I had a $10 loser myself, thanks in part by the Michigan offense not being able to put up a TD at all.. Oh well, time for the big boys.
As for my big one, I'm thinking of a 3 team 10 point teaser. Here's what I got brewing up:
GB -.5 vs CHI
DAL PICK vs MIN
DAL vs MIN OVER 39
Here is my logic. GB is looking good, especially with the emergence of their running game. I'm sure this bet will be in my big parlay no matter what. No way they lose to a Jay Cutler less CHI team at home. The DAL/MIN seems to be the second safest game to bet this week in my opinion. DAL at home in a Dome where elements can't skew the results against a soft team overall in Min. Ponder is back, and although he isn't much he is an upgrade from what they had. I can see the two teams having the even amount of scores, but Min settling for FG's while DAL puts up more TDs. Something like 31-16, maybe more points for MIN if they can convert some TD's instead of FG's on that soft DAL def.

So here is my recap for the day.
On Sunday morning I was looking the lines over and decided to place a couple more decent sized bets.
Here is what I placed.
Chiefs-4.5
Risk $20 to win $18.18
That was a winner.
I also placed a 3 part 13 point teaser.
Packers+2
Chiefs+8.5
Cowboys+3
Risk $35 to win $29.17
This one is looking good for me. I still need the Packers bet to work, but I really don't see that not happening.
I also placed a couple bets on the Colts game right after it started. I was going to put a bet on the Colts winning or an ATS bet, but I forgot to do it until the game was a few minutes in. So I just placed a couple bets with the live betting. I bet $10 on the Colts winning straight up which I got +135 on since the Texans had one touchdown and I also placed a $5 bet on the o44.5 to win $3.54. I watched the game until the end of the first half and things were going so bad for the Colts I just stopped watching, but when I woke up this morning and checked the scores the Colts won which was pretty impressive since they were 6-21 going into the second half and they recovered as well as limiting the Texans to only one field goal.
I lost $22.5 due to the Saints losing. I had a couple teasers and one parlay with them that were losses.
My Chargers/Redskins teaser was a win as well as my other ATS bet on the Chiefs. Of everything settled so far I have a profit of $28.06. I also have some really big bets still open that I will list here.
I have one small teaser with the Packers-1. If that happens I will win m initial bet of $10 plus $9.09 profit.
My 5 team ATS parlay has the Packers-11. If that happens I will win my initial bet of $2.5 plus a profit of $70.28
My 10 team 6 point o/u teaser has the Bears/Packers game o44. If that happens I will win my initial bet of $2.5 plus a profit of $62.5
And last of all My 3 part 13 point teaser has the Packers+2 and if that happens I will win my initial bet of $35 plus $29.17.
So if everything goes well with tonight's game it looks like I'm going to have a really big weekend which should take me out of the red for the year.

I had an absolute horrible week. Not one bet won... wow. I've done so well all year, but not going to let that week slow me down.
I've not posted in a while due to a couple of reasons. Real life has taken a hectic turn for my wife and I. We just said goodbye to our families that came into town to attend our first child's baby shower. We closed on our first house and have been in the works on getting things situated with that. It hasn't allowed me much opporutunity to post here, let alone do some research on some bets... We're in the process of moving, but in a couple weeks, I should be back on track.
That still wont stop me from betting though Have brunch scheduled for tomorrow morning, then bets to be made and posted. Lets win some money!!!!

I was really expecting some sort of 27-20 game out of CLE/PIT, but man they are annoying me... Not much time left before the half, all I can hope for at this point is a TD before the half...
The JAX/HOU game has started as to what I thought, but I didn't think HOU would be shut out still. Half way through the second quarter, Case Keenam only has 4 completions. He needs to start finding some Andre Johnson and put up some yards/points.

I'm pretty certain on the CAR/NE outcomes... the CHI/MIN game should be high scoring - both have decent weapons and absolutely horrible defenses, and it's indoors. The JAX/CLE game is a bit more complex. I like JAX in that game to begin with, and frankly I don't think CLE could muster up a 2TD lead to begin with. I like JAX a lot with that many points added.
