TheKid's Parlay Sportsbetting Megathread

That monkey was beating me up pretty good. I'm trying to tackle small profits each day on some Zone poker. Just something like 5-6 profit a day to keep this going. So far so good.

I know yesterday's winnings was quite a bit for me and this thread. I feel like doing the numbers to see where that puts me overall... Might have my next post with an update of overall wins/loses - or that might be too depressing

Alright, here is the tally so far for my sports betting up to date.

I have 2 bets going on tonight. For the sake of argument, lets just chalk them up as Losses (lets face it, chances are I'm going to lose)

It seems that I have about 21 bets that were losses, totaling $44. Holy crap, 21 loses. I suck hahahaha.

I've added up all the victories I've put together, and that was much easier than my losses lol. Luckily for me, my biggest bets I've won, which has evened out the scores. From my calculations, I've only got 3 victories (I really suck). From those victories, I've won $48.74. Giggity.

That puts me UP $4.74, and that's acting as if tonight's bets are losses (worst case scenario). Hopefully I can bink a bet tonight and my profit can rise. I think that if I bink one of my two bets, I'll do a $1 - 5 leg parlay or something on football this weekend. C'mon victories!!!!

Stoke 4/5 to beat Crystal Palace. Stoke's first home game, looked OK at Liverpool in week 1.
Man Utd 7/5 to beat Chelsea. Man Utd's first home game for their new coach. Impressive in week 1.

I feel the Nationals will win at home against the Marlins easily. The second game was just too low for me to pass to pick the over on. One of the team is pretty explosive, but has a good pitcher. I think they can get 6. C'mon winner winner!!!

I hear ya Ranger. I've been able to make a couple bucks here and there at the poker tables as well. My large accidental rage bet is really the only thing keeping me in the positive I believe.

Looking back through the thread, you need to string together some runs of W's. Maybe getting back to the basics, $1 bets of 2 leg parlays. I like your chances with this bet tonight. That Pirates game is the one to be nervous about in my opinion. We'll be rootin for ya!!!
