brasil is a probable winner of the event (I root for them). I guess Argentina also will be able to show the world that they have a great team too.

i know brasil won spain 3-0 last year, and i also remember portugal won them 4-0 in 2011, and everyone said spain will fall and they won euro 2012. then in 2010 they lost to swiss 1-0 in first game, but they won the cup anyway. so i dont see how anybody will win spain, but i would like too see them loose ))

Is anyone following the US Open cup competition? It's getting kind of buried beneath all the world cup chatter, but there have been some big match ups downy the stretch, including an all MLS final four teams. Sadly, none of which are my Sporting KC

The world cup started off unbelievable, but has fizzled out, mostly due to Brazil deciding to not show up to play well, but I'm excited that MLS is back in full stride. Can't wait for my Sporting KC to kick off tonight! Vamos Sporting!
