Let´s see how it goes. We are still have some time for the competition. They are thinking hard for a solution. But with this World wide closing borders it is gonna be difficult to happen.
Further to your above context aware, the following must be taken into account; common sense should guide hosters and Olympic Committee to suppose that postponement of this event nibbles around the edges of the problem only. There is no vaccina yet in the world. If they will chose instead to nibble around the edges of the problem rather than meet it with courage and a plan for the future then it just can't or doesn't get any worse than that. With every passing day (that seems more like a week), the chances of these Games starting on time goes down, way down. If all the quarantines and travel bans were lifted at the beginning of May, do you think these Games could move forward as planned? I don't.
There has got to be a "tipping point" of profitability and viability that would precede the absolute possibility of holding the events. If everything was "back to normal" on July 1st, it may be possible to hold the Games, but they wouldn't do it. The profitability/viability becomes almost zero very soon.
100% will suspendedGiven the coronavirus pandemic: will the Olympics be held or suspended? Maybe it will be postponed to next year? Doing it in a country other than China seems difficult since the virus is everywhere. My opinion, as it has progressed, will be suspended. It would be a great blow to world sport, as there are athletes preparing for 4 years for these competitions. :2in1:
