I also think germany will beat argentina, Argentina have very good players but don´t play like a team, (probably Maradona have a lot to do with that), mostly individual plays but not team plays like Germany.

Argentina defence sucks, Goal from mexico was 1 guy versus 2 defences and beat both.

Front is great in paper but aside of 1 very good goal don´t see much in last game, first goal was offside, second goal was a gift by Mexican defence, aside of the 3rd goal Argentina was dead most of the game.

brazil game is tough but still think Brazil is superior.

Spain have it more easy this round, Paraguay is soft and will be crush.

Unbelievable crumble by Brazil! what a shock and now a dissapointing final. Good for Ghana though, because after they beat Uruguay (any wagers?) they will cetainly prefer playing against holland than Brazil who would have demolished them! But Hollan. lol. everybody raves about them-unbeaten in 25 games but overrated players and that cry baby robben on the right soo predictable putting it on his left foot and coming inside for a shot!

Best game of the tournament so far, Holland deserved the win, and it's the Brazillians who are the cry babies. Thank god Kaka turned down the 30m quid he was offered to move to Man Utd, he's useless. He should have left the Kaka nickname where it belonged, to a player he will never emulate, Kaz Deyna.

If you think that the final will be dissapointing because Brazil is not in it, I have some bad news for you.

People can spout off about who is better than who, but what it comes down to at this stage is kinda like a FT with the likes of Ivey, Harrington, Doyle, Negreanu, Nguyen, and so on. Some like this one, some like that one, all of em have made their mark in the game. Some are more aggressive and lucky, some play more tactical and follow stricter rules. But all play good.

Still, I think the Germans are gonna TID tomorrow vs Argentina. Müller is gonna goal in the first 15 minutes.....

If anyone is gonna score for germany its gonna be that little wizard with the speed of a cheetah: Oezil. My fav player of the tourney so far! And I dont even like German football-I prefer the Spanish ans South American style to rigid structure. But that Oezil reminds me of Ronaldo (Brazilian striker)--his runs are magic and he can cut through any defence in the world.

Oezil is a fast and aggressive player, and I like him too. But he has missed a few kinda all in situations after almost magically getting to the goal but then missing the final shot. IDK if its just WC stress. He has also mad some great plays, dont get me wrong , but Müller has showed cool and precise play UTG, but still, wtf do I know, I am from Texas.....its anyones guess anyway, I will be watching.

Agree with pothole, best game so far.

Sad for Brazil but Holland play a great game, i think Brazil get too comfortable after the first goal and just until see the second goal is when put the gas to the top but was too late.

I think Argentina/Germany tommorrow will be a great game too, hope is not a disapoint.

lol,all u Germans are going crazy over oezil...if u look at his runs and his shots his way too OVERRATED,and Argentina's defense isn't weak!!! it's not the best but it's an okay defense and Argentina's attack will DESTROY Germany's "good" defense , Argentina like keeping possession and attacking and hard to get the ball from, thus not much to defend so all the Germans here who are praising muller and oezil...look and learn from Messi, Higuaín, Tévez and Rodríguez....

Ghana. lol. Great thinking by Suarez although he will miss the semis he kept his team init-thats a team player! I was rooting for ghana all the way but if you cant rattle the net from the penalty spot-go home. Theyve obviously been taking lessons from England.

Enjoyed the game. They had Urugauy beaten in the legs department. Uruguay were flat at add. time. Anyways-if you cant make the semis when 800 million people are supporting you spiritually, Emotionally, and physically-then go home!

This, I agree with very much. I was rooting for Ghana because I wanted them to represent Africa and reach semifinals for the first time, make Africa proud. Uruguay has already won World Cup in the past. But after watching the penalty miss and those horrible penalty kicks, they should go home, especially when they even had home advantage of whole Africa nation, and many other non-African people supporting them. Korea reached semifinals in 2002. Ghana could've done it easily also.

African teams lack technique, they play more phisical than tactical.

As much as I was hoping Ghana would win, I have to disagree.
If Suzao had handled the ball and the ref wouldnt have called a penalty and a red card, then yeah they would have been cheated out, but since Uruguay got punished in the exact right manner it isnt cheating imo.
Unethical, maybe, cheating, no, Since there are rules in place to deal with this exact situation and they where dealt with in the right way.

1-0 half time.
Tonky, I am actually American, just live here. I think Oezil has a bad habit of over shooting the goal, hes fast and good, but seems to shoot high. But Müller is fkn great. I foresee him being one of the German suprestzars. Hes only 20 ffs, what a player. But I agree with you about Argentina, they have great players, and as slow as they started, they have been steadily picking up the pace. I still say Germany will TID, my prognosis....2-1.

wow what a game, both teams played good, Messi is a magician with the ball, but Germany played so good, in the first few minutes the 2nd half Germany looked kinda confused, but man did they come v´back. Great fkn game....

Shame about Müller being out of the next match

Good call - hope you put money on it!

Great win for Germany - maybe it puts England's performance into a bit more perspective, although Argentina are NOT a great side but having said that they had won 9 straight games in 2010 until today.

Germany are very strong all over the park - Argentina looked exhausted at 0-2 but Germany just got stronger, as they did against England.

Hope Spain win to set up a Germany-Spain semi.
