Tell me a reason why I shouldn't think you're a douche for calling the germans Nazis.
Well, he clearly is a douche. So why not think of him as one?

The garbage some people spew really makes you wonder sometimes...

Two points:
  1. Argentina totally relied on individual strengths (messi and the like) whereas Germany had a tactic plan which Argentina clearly hadn't.
  2. Tell me a reason why I shouldn't think you're a douche for calling the germans Nazis. (I'm half German half South-african btw - and hasn't SA got a not so distant apartheid history ?):withstupi

I can give you a good reason for calling him a douche..... But, unlike the idiot who called the German team nazis, you have manners.

Tonky, get your shit together or take it somewhere else....... We dont need that here.....

You can say it's lack of fair play from the players committing this kind of foul, but the punishment is right. The team who was going to score gets a penalty kick and, most of the times, will score any way, the opposing team will play with one man less for the rest of the game and that player will be suspended for at least the next game. This is enough punishment, it makes it only worth it if it's made at the end of the game like in this case, but they can't change the rule just for the last 10 minutes or so.
I think will be more fair if is like Basketball, fault and count, so if you want to do the hand do it, but the goal should count and the fault also, so this give really a improve to the afected team, give them the goal and a chance to make other.

With rules now pretty much you are telling that could make the fault with no problem at all, because you could be spell but still got the chance the goal is not make it, but the fault player is not playing clean, so why gi ve any chance to a player that cheat, it most by punish not give the reward.

Is about point of view i guess.

I hate to admit it Gesshoo but youre right-I dont like German football but Ive rewatched all three games where germany scored 4 goals and these youngsters are playing some really attractive football-kinda like portugal did against korea dpr.

Still when spain are playing well as a team they play some of the best football the world has to offer. If Germany keep the game open and flowing like they did vs eng, aus, arg, then we should see attractive football from both sides and many many goals.

Apparently you're too thick to get it - but you will have to deal with that yourself.

Another two points:
  1. Either you really can't see the insult and are most probably really really dense or
  2. You deliberately insulted all germans for reasons only you know.
In either case neither your remarks nor you belong here imo and tbh I wouldn't miss you.

Just if you wonder why I get upset:

Several members of my family got imprisoned, tortured - some killed by the nazis in the 3rd Reich and todays Germany has got nothing to do with that.

Look at the German team - half of them have foreign origins - probably one of the most multi-cultural teams in the WC.

What I was trying to say is that the attacking team will, most of the times, benefit from the situation. They'll very likely score anyway AND play against one man less for the rest of the game, so if they were losing they'll draw anyway and now have more chances of winning than if the ball just went in because a player just got sent off. What we saw in the Uruguay vs. Ghana match was the only possible situation that would make the foul worth it (it was the last minute, Uruguay would be eliminated for sure if Suarez didn't save it).

Anyway, us football fans really can't imagine a rule like that of basketball being used in football, it just wouldn't feel right. I don't consider what Suarez did cheating, he did what he had to do and sacrificed himself to keep his team alive, he's a hero.

Ghana can only blame themselves (or Gyan) for missing the penalty. But I understand where you're coming from.

After the victory against argentina the crowd flooded the streets - 110K alone on Munich's main north-bound axis: Leopoldstraße.

300+K in Berlin as I heard in the news.

Spain have struggled at times in South Africa against defensive minded opponents who try to prevent them from asserting their customary dominance of possession.

Some people know when to stop, and some just dont........

I was thinking about answering your question, but considered anyone asking this in this way, would they even understand an answer?

But, hell, keep hate alive if you think thats so appropriate. Just dont procreate.....

If your from Uraguay Suarez is a hero but if your from Ghana he's a cheater, im irish so from a neutral standpoint he is a cheater, theres a reason why your not meant to handle the ball, but he was punished they got the penalty so everything should have been ok, until the penalty was takin, if Ghana had of scored it wouldnt even be an issue

How is he a cheater? He faced the consequences by getting a red card and allowing Ghana to have a penalty kick. It's their dumbass fault for not making the penalty kick. If Suarez wasn't punished, then yes, he's a cheater. But he paid his dues by getting expelled from the game and the upcoming game while giving Ghana penalty kick. I never thought of this but if I was in that situation, I would do the same thing also.

Agreed, he should have been red carded but IMO, it would have been a definate goal had he not done it. The outcome should have been sent off and a goal awarded.

People talk about the 3 part(Red,Suspension,Penalty) punishment beeing to harsh and you want to take it one step further and just give a goal + the red?
Where would it stop? 1 on 1 vs the keeper and your brought down, is that a penalty or a goal?

The point is, if the goal is awarded anyway there wouldn't be any point handling the ball.

I haven't got a problem with the penalty / red card / no goal decision.

I have a problem that Suarez will only miss 1 match and be able to play the final / little final.

If he would have been banned from 2 games it would have been fair imo.

I absolutely agree. A penalty is awarded for preventing a clear scoring CHANCE with a foul. In this case it wasn't a chance, it was a goal.

But to rule it a goal I guess we'd need that cursed video replay, which we know Grandpa Blatter and his croonies are allergic to. So... we get to have teams and players continually cheated out of their deserved successes again and again.

Quite frankly, there are countries where Suarez and the ref would've had to fear for their lives. Let's just be glad that no such country was involved...

Whats more annoying than a vuvuzela?? this.

YouTube- Vicky Vuvuzela - Blow your vuvuzela (clip)

There is a thread about the vuvuzela you can put that video in.

Spain vs Germany? all the football panels my side say 3-0 and up to Germany! Im sure its the same all over the world, but I still think Spain are gonna win it! Score maybe 3-2 or 2-1 spain. and vs holland in the finals-maybe 5-o Spain.

Hard to predict - Spain has been the strongest team over the last two years wheras Germany played an awesome WC - I say 3-2 for Germany after OT.

Whoever wins - this is a must see all-time classic.

Netherlands won't be favourite no matter who they face in the final - but anything can happen there - they are strong too.
