Conor Mcgregor should be P4P number 1 in the UFC rn
He must defend his belt first
he KO'd aldo in 13 secs, who was the P4P number 1. To be the best, you gotta beat the best and McGregor already did that.
You don't get to be P4P #1 by completely depleting yourself to fight smaller guys. Conor isn't even ranked # 1 in overall status at FW let alone #1 P4P. Aldo is still the FW kingpin ... one quick loss doesn't erase a life-time of achievements. Ten years undefeated ... First ever champion ... most title defenses at FW. No-one has come close to doing what he has done at FW.
Conor can possibly make that claim in the future. He is headed in the right direction but as it stands he is not even within grasp of such a claim.

Conor has wiped out the FW division, there's no one for him to fight that he hasn't already beat. Conor is the two time champ; Aldo won't ever have that on his resume
Demetrius Johnson is definitely p4p best. His athleticism, his technique, and will to win and continue be these best sets him apart. McGregor on other hand lost to nate diaz. Not knocking nate diaz, but the p4p king doesn't get outclassed standing than choked out in 2 rounds by the #5 ranked fighter in the division your now champion in. 3 fights ago correct? He has achieved a lot. But not p4p best.
Chad Mendes gassing out vs Conor McGregor was depressing.
What does matter with McGregor is where he ranks on the moneyweight list - on that he's #1, and nobody else is even close. Fact.
"Moneyweight list"? Pffffffff. This is way more ridiculous than the whole p4p discussion. we are debating about - hmmmm, idk, maybe - fighting. Good for him that he gets his "superheavy checks", but I don't think MMA fans should care that much about who is the richest fighter.
What I do care about is how entertaining the fights I'm watching are. And you've got to admit that a McGregor fight is an entertainment event like few others.
You seem to care not about how entertaining the fights are, but the whole spectacle pre and post fight.
