If this fight takes place, I won't watch it. It will be very boringly I think.

I would bet that you would definitely be watching this fight along with the whole world. I hear a lot of people saying that the fight will be boring (which I somewhat agree with) and that they won't be watching but of course they will watch!

This will be one of if not THE biggest PPV of all time and the whole world will be watching. It's bringing the world of MMA and the world of boxing head to head!

Of course Mayweather is a huge favourite but who know what's going to happen, the one thing I know for sure is that we'll all be watching!

Saying he's a huge favourite doesn't really do it justice though. It'll be one of the greatest boxers ever versus an amateur. It will be so one sided it's unreal.

If people like Saul Alvarez cant hit Mayweather what chance does McGregor have like.

It is forced to upset you, I really won't look. On it there are 2 reasons.
1. This fight isn't interesting to me. I don't argue, of most of people this fight attracts great interest, but not of me.
2. Such fights take place in time, inconvenient for me, (5:00 in the morning). And therefore if I look, then only fights which can on the present are interesting where there will be the real fight.

And in general by what rules he will pass? By rules of boxing or mixed martial arts. I consider that such fights aren't necessary.
It how to set a lion on a bear. There is no sense, and one cruelty.

Jack, look calmly chess and do not cling to the Boxing fans.
Change your status, it doesn't suit you.
Sorry, buddy, I'm so.

Hasn't guessed a little, I don't love chess. And boxing, mixed martial arts, and in general sport, very much even I love.
Floyd and McGregor's fight, is not sport. This usual earning money. What will be received by the winner of fight? Champion's belt, champion's rank?? No, he will just receive more money than the loser.

Not sure if this was already posted: GSP is back in the UFC and will fight for the title... but, not at 170 lb, but at 185 lb, against Michael Bisping.

http://mmajunkie.com/2017/03/conor-...e-rips-michael-bispings-horrendous-trash-talk

Extract: "St-Pierre (25-2 MMA, 19-2 UFC), the former longtime UFC welterweight champ who is set to return from a more than three-year hiatus to challenge Bisping (30-7 MMA, 20-7 UFC), has already been on the receiving end of verbal attacks from “The Count,” but said he’s not going to take the bait."

Yeah it's a good time to be Michael Bisping, and a bad time to be Yoel Romero.

Mind you, Romero's call for an interim title fight against Anderson Silva is at least as ridiculous...

...and even that is less ridiculous than the story that Matt Hughes wants to come back. Y'know, as long as it's someone he knows he can beat. Probably Royce Gracie, because that fight wasn't sad enough the first time around 11 years ago. Still, you know Bellator will absolutely make that fight. http://www.mmafighting.com/2017/3/15/14939790/matt-hughes-considering-comeback-fight

Personally I don't want to see GSP fight again. He was out, he'd retired successfully with at least some of his faculties intact, this was a Good Thing.

GSP is a smart man ... at least he comes off as one. He never took too much damage in his fights. His faculties are just fine all things considered, I would say.

That website miss-quotes Hughes. Unless he says it at a different point. In the clip they show he doesn't say,\
\
“If I could find an opponent that I could definitely beat, I would go again,”

He uses the word Think .. which makes the statement much more different.

Ah. Personally can't stand Matt Hughes so assumed the quote was accurate, didn't want to have to listen to him actually talk if I could avoid it. And of course it's just one snippet from a larger conversation.

Still think the idea of him fighting in 2017 is an awful one though. And what's worse is that Bellator will 100% give him that fight if they have the opportunity.

Well, Royce Gracie fought Ken Shamrock at Bellator last year, and they were the main event! So, Hughes fighting again there would actually be a great improvement from that main event. :D

I have no problem with watching some legends fight as long as they are fit to do so.

Sure, but Woodley-Thompson 3 would be an improvement over that main event... :p

Yeah in theory I agree with you. But in practice, Bellator have played incredibly fast and loose with the concept of "fit to do so".

I mean look at the Kimbo-Dada fight from last year. Dada damn near died in the cage. Kimbo did die not long afterwards. Plus they choose to put on those fights in locations with notoriously lax commissions (like Texas, where both Shamrock and Kimbo failed pre-fight drug tests, were allowed to fight anyway, and then got a tiny slap on the wrist afterwards).

What do you say guys.. Miocic or Dos Santos?

I hope and I actually think Stipe will beat him this time.. Last fight was really close but I think Stipe improved more.

I really hope vitor does retire after he hopefully beats the breaks off of punk... lol but can u imagine how sad it would be to see punk somehow by miracle win it...?? That TRT killed vitor... never looks like hes even half the fighter he used to be while not fighting in brazil on his TRT... even last weekend he was at home and still looked sad lol..

Terrible bc hes a legend... something tells me silva is next... 😐

TRT Belfort to RIZEN .....

Poor Punk ... He would be silly to accept a fight with Belfort.

Yeah nobody's actually suggesting Belfort fight CM Punk are they? They're not even in the same weight division...

Saying TRT "killed" Belfort is one way of looking at it I guess. The other way would be to say that TRT (fairly or not) greatly extended his career - he's been fighting in the UFC for 20 years, which is in-fracking-sane. Without TRT we would've gotten the exact same result I think (a Belfort that's a shadow of his younger self), we just would've gotten it a few years earlier.

Belfort asked to fight Punk for his retirement fight.

Agreed about TRT. It extended his career. I would suggest that if testing was similar to what it was a few years ago .... Belfort wouldn't be talking about retirement today.

Not only TRT. It was loads of steroids also. I don't respect him as a legend.. maybe if he retired few years ago.. but it's obvious now he was full of steoirds and testosterone during his career.

And I believe 90% or Brazilians were full of steroids and stuff.
Look at Renan Barao for example, Machida, Anderson... etc

USADA doing a good job :)

Oh man, I hadn't seen that. That's ugly.

He's obviously been a shadow of his former self for some time now. But one of the things I've always respected him for is he's never really taken an easy fight in that time. Gastelum, Mousassi, Jacare, Weidman, those are all brutal fights - he's still been fighting the best in the division (second fight with Hendo being the only real exception).

So yeah, I wouldn't begrudge him for a second taking a more "winnable" matchup for his final fight. In fact I think it's absolutely the right thing for all concerned. But... CM Punk? That's taking things a bit far methinks :p

I guess he figures he'll make more money fighting him than enyone else. So, I don't think it has much to do with winning or losing the fight, but making as much money as he can.

If you're a veteran mma fighter and you want to fight against an amateur, you're a coward.

Well technically he'd have his first No Contest...

/nitpick :p

Though even Dad-Bod Vitor shouldn't need to juice to beat CM Punk.
