Yes it will be unless for some sick reason they have Werdum vs Velasquez 3

Cruz years back, I would def pick. Hes been out for a while. I think its a toss up.

TBH I am really excited about Ryan Bader v Anthony Johnson

Bader gets no credit for any of his fights, and deserves his shot. I am really hoping he can squeeze out a win here and have a shot.

Rumble is so damn strong, so I think if this fight can go to rd 3, bader will take it down.

Or if they give Overeem the shot instead.

Miocic getting the title shot is far from certain IMO.

I can see that one going one of two ways. If it stays on the feet, Bader will get straight up murdered. He doesn't have the power, striking skills or volume to stand with Rumble and live.

If he's somehow successful in taking the fight to the ground (not a gimme - Bader is a good wrestler, and Cormier was able to take Johnson down, but other strong wrestlers like Phil Davis couldn't do it) then he can probably win with top control, and we'll be all the worse for it because it'll be a terrible fight to watch :p

LOL no.

But apparently there's gonna be some photos in Sports Illustrated soon that will give pretty definitive answers to anyone who's still confused...

Haven't bet him yet, but I'm seriously considering Mitrione. I just don't think Travis Browne is good at... well... anything much, really.

I do have a unit on TJ Dillashaw because I expect him to be the more aggressive fighter and to land more shots (and land them much harder) than Cruz. It's a hard one to pick though. Cruz's takedowns could be a difference maker. But I think that TJ takes it more often than not. I think he'll have better cardio, and I think he'll be more likely to be able to punish Cruz's habit of leading with his face than any of his previous opponents too.

Anyone who says they're the same or that TJ's style is just a poor copy of Cruz's isn't watching all that carefully BTW.

Just finding out about this.

Yeah, I don't think may people are surprised about it. Not just for his body as for his cheating ways on the Octagon.

LOL not me. Tim Kennedy having a field day on Twitter over the news... :p
Can't blame him, really. I'd do the same, after the s... he pulled in their fight between rounds. That was so wrong, they should have disqualified him.

I think a decision is very possible in that one, at the least I expect it to go into the championship rounds.

She is the first mixed martial artist to host Saturday Night Live. I absolutely love her even if she got knocked out by Holly. She is still a great judo and Brazilian jujitsu practitioner and is insanely gorgeous. How could anyone think she is a man? She is very curvaceous. Probably some haters just trolling.

The Pettis - Alvarez fight was pretty boring. Not sure who won tbh. I guess all those takedowns gave it to Alvarez in the end but neither fighter was ever really in any danger.

Also didn't think TJ lost that fight. It was no doubt close but don't see how you can take his belt.

TJ won 2 rounds. Cruz won 2 rounds / arguably 3

TJ was the aggressor and def was doing better towards the end, but the take downs and shots missed from TJ were in Cruz favor.

Had the fight gone another round, I think it would go in TJs favor.

But the scores were obnoxious. It should have been a 1pt diff every round, not 3 pts like the judges had it.

Do any of you have any more precise information for Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier. I read on MMA that match will be held in April at Madison Square garden. This will be the first time that a UFC match will be held in New York, I think that they previously did not allow maintenance because of law state. Executive director of the UFC says they have submitted papers to the court of appeal and that are already scheduled an appointment for April 23 (check date for each case, but I think it's that day).
If someone have a little bit more or some new information I'd like to hear it.

I agree completely. I don't think it was a clear-cut win for Dillishaw but I just don't see how you take the belt away on that fight.

I think Cruz was also treated as if he was the champion because he never lost the belt. That's why I think he got the nod on a close decision.

You prefer Lawler or Condit :)

Miocic or Arlovski :)

.

I really wanted Condit to win, but if Lawler won, I wasn't going to be pissed. I really like them both. I just like Condit a little bit more. It would've been noice to see him finally win the belt, that way there could be numerous Lawler vs. Condit fights :icon_thum

The Dillashaw vs. Cruz fight was back-n-forth & was really close. I gave the win to TJ though. Dillashaw vs. Cruz 2 is on it's way :icon_thum
