Thanks for responding Rob.

My first question references both developer and end-user perspectives. I understand that each database compilation is relative to a specific computer. Due to allegations of bots and collusion that I have encountered within this forum and elsewhere I am looking for something like a virus, trojan, worm.. database where the signatures [behaviors] are collected and accessible as a resource. This could be a (much needed) value added component to PT4. Like boxing, poker needs to be refereed to ensure a fair fight and rule-breakers should be brought down hard by every means possible...bottom up, top down and everything in between.

Thanks for answering my second question and I'll be shopping around looking at how top flight players have rigged their HUD's.

Why does poker tracker 4 does not work at BOL [Betonline] and SB [Sportsbetting]?
Does some day PT4 will work on these poker sites?

I signed up for the 30-day trial, and I think I'm going to pull the trigger, but I will be changing computers, and would like to bring my PM4 database, as it exists when it was built during the trial, over to my new computer.

Provided I used the default settings during installation, can you tell me where the database is located on my C: drive, so I can back it up to a USB drive, then import it on my new machine?

If you are sure there is an issue then please include all relevant information detailing the problem (calculations, screenshot(s)) and compress the hand history/tournament summary files which give you incorrect results and attach those to a Support Ticket.

- Rob

I'm new to HUDs but am in love with how much they have catapulted my win-rate overnight. I have no desire to learn how much money i've burned by not getting one sooner.

I'm now obsessed with HUDs and have been comparing Drive HUD and PT4 the past month and have walked away with several questions regarding how to modify and maximize HUD usage. Would love love love some help on how to use/access PT4's HUD features in the following ways...

-Is there any way to not allow a villains hands dealt while inactive to be added to a player's stat profile? This is significant because if a player is inactive for some reason for 100 hands and all those hands are logged...annnnnd then the villain begins playing after 100 inactive hands; my stats on the given player will be incorrectly skewed and I will likely end up playing too tight against said villain.

-Is there any way i can pull up specific player hand histories on particular board types? For example: If i'm in a pot and betting an overpair out of position on a wet board against a good laggy opponent I need to be able quickly access hands histories against the villain that have a wet board. Or if i could instantly pull up a hand/hands where the villain bet a flush draw (or any draw) and got to show down. It would be invaluable to quickly access how the player played their draw in position and how they played a draw out of position; or if they ever play draws out of position etc. This would be GOLD.

-Specifically within MTT's" Is there any way to get stats/hand histories on players who are playing at other tables? This would be a game changer. I'm always hurt when ACR takes me to another table during a big tourney and i'm suddenly put at a disadvantage because i have no info on the players i just sat down with.

-This one's a big one. How can we use PT4 to analyze our opponents bet sizing. Not just their bet frequency? It would by super useful to be able to look at info on a player and see how big they bet when they were on a draw/top pair/set etc...is that availiable or am i just unaware of the functionality?

-I'm taking a shot at the Venom tourney (next week i think) and need stats on the players I'd be up against. Any way i can get stats/hands histories from tourneys I'm not playing in? Specifically the venom tourney on acr?

*If not can i input hands manually in specific cases where there are sharks i'm semi-familiar with but play on a frequent enough basis that I'd love to be able to record hands manually into their 'profile' on PT4. Can i do that?

-If I get a new computer can i import the memory profile of my PT4 hud including hand histories, tagged hands, etc?

-One stat I love on drive Hud that PT4 doesn't have is the feature that displays how the given player has been running. That stat/graph has lead to me making some ambitious but correct calls in a couple spots that i'd have never made without seeing that graph.
For example: when a super tight player jams all in, in most spots, I don't even think about it, i snap fold. however when using drive HUD and i see that the player went from being chip leader to 10% of their stack in 10 minutes after losing 3 massive pots...and is now open shoving with 20+ bbs [late in the tourney]? I'm willing call lighter with midish pockets and even some mid suited aces (if last to act).

Is that stat/graph exclusively available on Drive HUD or can i find a way to use it on PT4 somehow?

Those are all the questions i remember having for now...more to come, I'm sure.

I don't have any timelines for adding any new site support at this time but if you want to be notified if support is added then please open a Support Ticket.

If you purchase PokerTracker 4 you can enter your registration code on the current computer, backup your poker data and then restore that on a new computer:

That's not currently possible.

PokerTracker 4 doesn't track a hand in progress so it doesn't know the current board but you can use NoteTracker or custom statistics to record information on what players are doing with different draws/hole cards and on what board type(s).

-Specifically within MTT's" Is there any way to get stats/hand histories on players who are playing at other tables? This would be a game changer. I'm always hurt when ACR takes me to another table during a big tourney and i'm suddenly put at a disadvantage because i have no info on the players i just sat down with.

Poker sites write hand histories for the table you are playing on and not other tables in the tournament so what's going on outside of your own table isn't known to PokerTracker 4.

-This one's a big one. How can we use PT4 to analyze our opponents bet sizing. Not just their bet frequency? It would by super useful to be able to look at info on a player and see how big they bet when they were on a draw/top pair/set etc...is that availiable or am i just unaware of the functionality?

There are some custom statistics for bet sizes in the Download Warehouse and if you search our custom statistic forum. You can also build your own custom statistics to track that and this guide covers the basics on custom statistics creation and this guide goes into more details. The last one was written for PokerTracker 3 but the techniques all apply to PokerTracker 4, the interface is just slightly different.

-I'm taking a shot at the Venom tourney (next week i think) and need stats on the players I'd be up against. Any way i can get stats/hands histories from tourneys I'm not playing in? Specifically the venom tourney on acr?

That's called datamining and is typically against most poker sites terms of service.

*If not can i input hands manually in specific cases where there are sharks i'm semi-familiar with but play on a frequent enough basis that I'd love to be able to record hands manually into their 'profile' on PT4. Can i do that?

If you can create hand histories in the correct format then that's possible.

-If I get a new computer can i import the memory profile of my PT4 hud including hand histories, tagged hands, etc?

Yes - see this guide.

You can build custom statistics that show you how much a player has lost in the last 'x' minutes - see this thread.

Learing to Use Poker Tracker

I just downloaded Poker Tracker last night for a free 30 day trial. It will take me about 30 days to learn how to use it. It seems like it will be very helpful though. In 2019 I want to improve my poker skills and make some money!

You can use PokerTracker 4 Small Stakes with No Limit Hold'em tournaments but it only supports games up to a buy-in of $/£/€22.

So I downloaded the free trial last night. I play on ACR, which I know is a Winning Poker Network platform, but the software doesn't recognize my username. I have tried to enter it into the Edit Player List>Add New>search function, but it won't find me. When I did the set up I entered it. What am I doing wrong?

If your player name isn't being found then you haven't imported any hands into PokerTracker 4 yet so please refer to our guide here for getting things configured to import your hands:

Winning Poker Network Configuration Guide (WPN)

Once that is setup you can test this on a table by clicking "Play Poker -> Get Hands While Playing" and after taking a seat you should see your hands being imported.

I've never seen anything like you've described but if you give us specific details about what's happening in a Support Ticket we can take a look at this for you.

Proper Management of Satellite Ticket (Win and Use)

What is the proper way to track satellite winnings and use of tickets in PT4?

I play on ACR, so I already need to go in and manually add my tournament winnings and buyins.

Should they just be treated like regular buyins and winnings? Or is there a better way to manage them?

I believe if you go in to edit the details of the tournament, somewhere near where you put in the amount won and your place you can click a box that says ticket won

Yeah I've never noticed it change anything on my end either. I'm sure there's some random setting in some obscure part of the program that makes it all work lol
