Sorry if you are not happy about the welcome promotion but you must realise that all sites have wagering requirements to bonuses and if you are not happy with clearing them then you don't need to use any of it..I DONT WANT TO BE RUDE WITH YOU AT ALL...
... IVE HAD A LOT O OF PAYMENT PROMOS ISSUES WITH 888... UNANSWERED EMAILS AND MANY SHADY STUFF... AND THEY GAVE ME THAT 8X10?.... WHEN I HAVE TO WAGGER 1000 EACH 10 DOLLAR TO RECEIVE IT..
THEREFORE I CANT MAKE ANY WITHRAWALL OTHERWISE ILL LOSE THAT "PROMO"
REALLY.... WTF!
IM ANGRY WITH 888 NOT WITH YOU...
Excellent news.Yes, I am back to original level. Thank you so much for your help!
I'm afraid poker sites are not a charity and most bonuses have wagering requirements no matter what site you are playing on and if you ask most players they will tell you that the bonuses are a good deal and very generous from 888.So as far as I see the $88 bonus contains tickets worth $8 and a pending bonus of $80...but then it says that "The Pending Bonus granted under the Promotion is granted to you in a restricted state that may not be accessed nor wagered with, but are released into a player’s real-money bankroll incrementally as he/she accumulates Bonus Points." -> So this means that I'm not able to play with those $80 only if I earn the required bonus points first, right? So this means that I still have to play with my own money first in order to receive your "$88 free"? I might be stupid but this doesn't sound like free for me...
Thanks for your response!

The thing is that all the information regarding bonuses is in the terms and conditions but unfortunitely no many read them until after they join.Look, the question isn't if your poker site or other sites are a charity or not. The true problem is that you lie to us when you promote your site telling that there is a "$88 free bonus, no deposit needed", when in reality only $8 are free, the other $80 is just a regular bonus (same as you can get at every other site) where you actually have to play with your own money first in order to get that cash. So either change the description or admit that you are communicating false information to us...
And giving out free money isn't about charity anyway. We both know that these small gifts should be given in order to let the players try out your site before depositing large sums from their own pockets...but if you manage to gain a new costumer with this gift who will play at your site for years, then on the long run your "investment" will actually generate a nice profit for you.
Also would you be so kind and show me a link or something where I can read more about the number and type of tournaments you host? Thanks!

You can check them all on the site if you download the poker client as you don't need to deposit to do this.In my opinion it doesn't matter if the correct information is available or not in the terms and conditions section until here, on cardschat, it is said that there is a "$88 free bonus, no deposit needed". This statement is false and misleading!
I also checked your link, but I still can't find there exactly what tournaments are you running. I would like to know more about the freerolls and micro tournaments you have...
That is correct you get the free money put into your account but it's up to you if you want to fullfil the wagering requirements to clear it for withdrawal. In my opinion it doesn't matter if the correct information is available or not in the terms and conditions section until here, on cardschat, it is said that there is a "$88 free bonus, no deposit needed". Please mail support@888poker.com and they will look into your account and advise you.Seems I'm not the only one having issues with the 888 bonuses. Invited a friend a week ago and still haven't seen the $15 bonus or free ticket they supposedly offer. Also friend hasn't received any email, tickets or the $88 (free) bonus. Maybe I expect too much from these sites, but it dies seem to be false advertising. Any hints on how to resolve would be appreciated.
If you feel, you are the victim of misleading adverticing, then I suggest, that you ask to get all your money back. Oh wait.... you did not pay anything.....
In you download the poker client, you can see the tournament schedule in the lobby. There is a wide selection of tournaments with buyins from 1$ to 109$. There are also a lot of satellites as well as SnGs.
Instant no download version here.1. I just don't like this style of advertising which unfortunately is very common nowadays...where sites would do absolutely anything in order to make you deposit...
Back then when I started playing online poker rooms were giving you $20-25 or even more REAL money just for registering at their site and they were also running regular freerolls with prize pools as high as $1000-1500 (and you could actually win cash, not only tickets or bonuses) and without any special entry conditions or other tricks attached (+ you could get really nice bonuses, prizes and rakeback). But then the whole industry collapsed, a gazillion new sites were opened, every one of them went greedy and hunting for new players and here we are now...
2. I'll do that if I decide playing there, but at the moment I don't think I would anyway. Also I think it's pretty primitive that you have to download their client in order to check that when many other sites offer you a list or some kind of description of their regular tournaments on their webpage.

Considering that Full Tilt had used player deposits to fund some of their expenses, one has to wonder, how sustainable all of this really was. And there was also the "POTRIPPER" scandal, which happened during this period. Regardless 2005 is not coming back, so why not appreciate and enjoy, what online poker has to offer today? Yes you have to deposit and play with your own money, but it should be obvious, that poker sites need rake income to survive, so we cant all be "freerollers"
Downloading and installing the client only takes a few minutes, and it also gives you a chance to check out the software to see, if you like it. Maybe play a freeroll or some play money tables. Uninstallation, should you decide to not play there, takes seconds. I have done that with multible poker sites, where I dont currently play.
I am having trouble getting an answer from support at 888. I recieved a scratch card for level 95 that didnt work due to "technical difficulties" and contacted them and never received a response.
