We have only changed the tables for the players that were on the old version but the new version is not new to everyone else as they have been happily playing with it for the past 2-3 years. I myself have played these tables and I find them excellent compared to some sites. There was only a small percent of players on the old version and it just wasn't feasible to continue with them.
They just need to make some adjustments in the settings to maybe change a few things then give it a try for a week and see how it goes.
I get you about moving the seat and feel that there should be an option for that.

I haven't even been able to login so I'm not sure... but I think I was likely using the new software.
Yesterday I FINALLY got in late in the day, prior to the Update that occurred last night (early morning for most of you). I stayed logged in as suggested by other members. When I tried it this morning... no luck. "Oops sorry!" sigh

One of the complaints about the new software is the sizing of the tables. They just don't match up with ALL of the other sites. So if you're playing 888 along with others, you'll have your tables lining up poorly. It just seems it'd make much more sense to keep it with the industry standard. But what do I know... I know nothing about software development, etc. I do know one thing.. player experience... Fulltilt poker had software that was just MILES ahead of what others like partypoker & 888 are trying to put out today... over a dozen years later. Perhaps Fulltilt was just way ahead of their time (Stars got it right too though... & UB and microgaming also had excellent software... even Carbon poker was good.... sigh Lock poker even had okay software, lol).

Yeah, I got that this morning too. I was hoping the new version was a fix to the ongoing log in problems, but as soon as the new version was loaded, it timed out with the same old "oops" message.
I was actually able to get in on my 3rd try, but 20 minutes later it disconnected me (my connection was just fine, everything else was working normally) and couldn't get back on until I had to leave.

On a positive note, I just got home and got in on my first try. I can't remember the last time I was able to get in right away..

Everytime everyday now this is happening that oops, something wrong messages.. come on.. you are losing way too many players and they are getting pissed off. You gonna lose massive amounts of money rakes when the whole world is under lockdown and players are home want to play . This is now beyond joke

I was shocked at first when the window popped up allowing me to login. I'd almost forgotten what it looked like. My account seems to be shy a few $'s... hmm.. maybe I pre-reg'd to something and didn't get to play it (I don't even remember... the last few days have actually been a blurr... we lost our best friend over the weekend.... our dog )

-They have freerolls for all kind of levels, That means super regulars get real value freerolls by playing in the site, reward system its quite good, the fields are small but enough for having afluence on almost all levels (Just missing at uper high Stakes).

-For new players they have many freerolls for them many at a day with $100-$250 GTD for all players eith onbly requierement of having make a deposit once. Wich makes complely possible to start your bankroll from $0 If a new player lost all his deposit.

-For normal regulars they also have value on daily missions and stuff like that where also they recive good value just by playing in the site.

-The interface of game well could be better but still completly funcionable.

We are no longer supporting the old version so all poker clients have been updated to the latest version.

But this version does not work correctly at my pc. I need to alt tab to can see the game going. The game aimply does not update in real time.
I think I will have to quit 888 somente far.

I do not have another explanation for this change but 888 is maybe trying to get rid of those already fewer and fewer players on the poker platform.

Compared to the old theme, this new theme is a total disaster.

I played on 888 mostly because of the friendly table theme, now this reason dissapeared.

Yes I am from Canada, I haven't been able to access the site since last Saturday so I deleted from my MAC and tried to re download but cannot get download to work....

I was never able to successfully download this site to my Mac, so I use my tablet and my phone for 888

Rep dood, the guy a couple posts up is asking for chip count to be displayed as big blinds not $$$ amount. On acr if you click on your chips you can toggle between the two.

One question: I played a bunch of roulette trying to get back to even (which I did eventually) while getting next Venus tickets a few days ago. This caused me to go to next level of 22. That was about 3 days ago, and I did not receive a Level Up Tournament Ticket. Even though a lot of points was from casino, I think I should still get the Level Up Ticket???

You need to reinstall the client and it should update ok.

My 888 Poker App was updated yesterday and the new app keeps crashing.
I used to revert to the old table format as a workaround but in the new software there is no such option.
