@ACR Rep, there are two situations that I have seen this a couple of times, and I wonder why ACR doesn't follow the typical poker rules.

Player in the small blind bust, and the button moves to the player that was just big blind. This means that the big blind never had to post a small bind. Is this a glitch that is being worked? What's the rational behind this?

Why can the player with the last aggression muck their hand so that it is not shown. Mucking rules get a little complex, but isn't it standard for the aggressor to show their hand then everyone show clockwise to the aggressor?

It is not a glitch, this is the way that online poker rooms does it, in fact pokerstars is just the same.

In regards mucking rules, our policy is under review

It can be said here that ACRE BCP is the worst sites to play poker, betting or withdraw money?

I have never had an issue from ACR, what makes you say there is an issue. Bad beat or just bitter for some reason .

Why would that be weird? The Button moves to the next player. Since the busted SB can't take it, it moves to the BB.

I figured it worked like this EVERYWHERE.
It's the Button that moves, not the Big Blind.

I really like ACR only thing about the site I question is how people are able to enter tourneys 2 hours late. I know they come in behind and high blinds but people come in late and just shove to try to get lucky and double up. I'm not sure if I like that of not

Many places do dead button, especially live games, in which the player who busts still "gets" his button, so no one skips a blind. Pokerstars and ACR do moving button. Both are equivalent in the long run, no one gains or misses an undue number of blinds. Personally, I prefer moving button, as ACR does it.

Hi ACR Rep, I've been building my bankroll on ACR with freerolls and have not made a deposit. Will I be able to withdraw from my account in the future, without ever making a deposit? I know some sites don't allow this. Thanks, Amanda

Thank you for clearing that up! Is there an ECD for the possible policy change to the mucking rules?

+1, I'm a live fish so I was not aware of the online rule for the button. Not sure that I agree with you on it being the same in the long run though. If LPX, always have the SB bust on their BB, then they are gaining. If ULPX, never has the SB bust, but the other players do, then they loss in the long run.

I just wonder if online software can't handle the dead button concept. It might be one of those "this is the way it has always been online", so no one cares to change it with all the programming that it would take.

I'd expect moving button is easier to program, so there is that. The thing with dead button is that no one misses a blind but the people behind the button get bonus +1 position (i.e. cutoff becomes button, hijack becomes button, etc.) so no matter which way you go, someone gets an advantage they would not have otherwise gotten. So since either way someone gets helped by the paradigm and since the programming is presumably easier for moving button and since the whole concept of moving button is generally easier to explain and since the chance of having someone on your immediate left/right bust out right before you're in the blinds is effectively if not totally random, I'm 100% fine with moving button.

I can see your points on most of this, but the whole "either way someone is getting an advantage" I can't agree with 100%. Yes, having position is key, but a forced post versus position is -EV comparing the two. I think we could agree that straddling the button is -EV in the long run.

With that said, that is just how the online world works, and it has always worked that way. Not wanting to derail the intent of this thread, but thanks for the conversation, and good luck on the felt.

I too would like to know why these freerolls have vanished. I was playing in one yesterday morning. went back last night to play another and there are none to be found.

They're still promoted on their online-poker-promotions page.

It would really be helpful if they had an official news section on their site that kept players up to date on things.. like if they're stopping the $10 on demand freerolls they should simply say so ahead of time instead of letting people wonder what's going on.

I found some under Sit&GO/Freeroll.

They don't have the same color they did 2 days ago. Now they pretty much look like all the rest. The On Demand games all have a little D in a little red box between the Date/Time and the Tourney name.

So as I am waiting for the 100K to start I am watching the other large games running and I notice that all of a sudden when the 500K was above 500K I see WPN messages saying $60 Jackpot to the 500K, so Im wondering how the people that are currently battling each other for $100 a piece and theres 15 of em 1 seat gtd and how the people that actually paid 2K to enter would feel about this. Is this just me trippin or is this seem kinda funny to anyone else? Surely im not just losin it. Im wondering if after my 100K hits they will start dumping people in it for next to nothing to take in proffit? Anyway...

Hello

I have a suggestion

I am a multi-table cash/SNG/MTT player

I found ACR's Table design maybe the worst of all. as I said before.
I don't care how fashion your table is, but first of all
the chips and amounts need to be easily seen

I am using 3 of the 1920pix X 1080 pix screen
4 tabling table makes ACR unable to read with the fonts

just put a screen shot for you guys from ACR to compare

ACR VS Bovada
ACR VS carbon

ACR VS pokerstars

ACR
Acr2
so would be appreciate if techs from ACR to make fonts easier to read.

many thanks

Not sure if this is the right place for this but someone tell me why when you win first place on ACR Freeroll leaderboard it says you receive $270 in tournament tickets. Well, it seems to come off very cheap to me that you did give me a $50 and a $200 but didnt want me to receive the $20 in rake which would of course been cool for my rakeback etc. Why is this? Either you might want to give out the actual $270 or change it to $250 on the website. It matters when you have 27% rakeback setup etc...ok done bitching. Thanks

They played and they conquered. Congratulations to these four players who finished atop the OSS Cub3d overall leaderboard. They each won a $4,900 package to the Punta Cana Poker Classic and a sterling silver bracelet!

Why do people complain about long late registration windows? If you've been grinding for four hours and have less than the starting stack, that's a problem on your end. I love the long registration windows because you get knuckleheads who buy right at the end, when they have effectively about 9 o 10 BBs and I've got about 50. Those players are easy pickings because they are going to shove the first time they get anything decent.

Glitch I just had on the Mac client:
Playing a rebuy MTT just now, after regging I wanted to insta rebuy, had to click on the rebuy button about 10 times and close/reopen the table before anything happened and I was finally able to rebuy.
