Time zone

Hey there, I was looking for an answer to this question online with no luck:

How do you change the timezone on ACR?
At first I was wondering what was happening to my tourneys then I realized the time was off, can anyone help/relate??
Thanks.

Also, the email (support@acr.com) comes back as not deliverable, is it just me?

Thanks

ACR Rep - I am requesting that an update to the sw be done that kills an inactive players hand at the deal. There is NOTHING more frustrating than have a player sit out for an hour and still be eligible to win the hands he is being dealt. In any card room in the world - if a player is not at the table when the cards are dealt their hand is dead.
I totally agree. Also it is frustrating because sometimes their timer goes the full amount even if they have been out of hands for a while. When I see 80-some seconds, I figure it's ok to go for a quick jog.

One other question for the rep, some people have really bad names like the one that is the f-word six times in a row with no spaces. How is this appropriate, yet other words are banned in chat?

PS I'd hate to be this person calling in for support and having to tell them my user name!1295

I already answered this buddy:

Hey Railbird,

Our network time is ET and there is not feature to change the time yet. However, we have sent this suggestion for consideration.

The email address is incorrect, their support address is Support@AmericasCardRoom.eu

Please report this player by sending an email to Security@AmericasCardroom.eu with this cust's nickname, in order to ask this person to change his name.

Okay, thank you for clarifying the email address.
I checked the help page again today and it still has the old one: 55

Yes, this is a great feature! I wish there was a way to change the sounds. The player turn one drives me nuts, but I prefer to have that notification rather than the one when the extra time starts. Just a little "boop" noise would be good for when it is your turn and the screen pops up, that magical unicorn sound has got to go!

PS I know that you can browse files, but I don't have any other sounds to choose from.

Thanks. I hope they are able to fix this and I am sure a lot of people will be thankful.
Just make sure there is a big obvious pop up when we log in for the first time after the update otherwise we will miss their tournaments! It could automatically set according to registered address but still have the option to change in case the person is traveling and stuck in a hotel.

I had a question. If i switch to the 26% contributed rakeback, what changes? Do I lose the VIP program rewards in exchange for the rakeback or what exactly is the difference. I was thinking about contacting support to request the change the I didnt know what all was involved. Thanks.

ACR incorrectly grading esports game to scam me out of $1400

Check out this parlay I put in on ACR yesterday: http://imgur.com/dUq1jRt

The only "loss" on that parlay is the Dota2 game between Team Liquid vs MVP Phoenix.
I bet on MVP Phoenix +1.5 (Best of 3 match).
ACR says I lost 0-2.
MVP Phoenix won that match 2-0.
I WON THAT MATCH AND WON THAT PARLAY.

Customer service so far has been unhelpful, claiming the sportsbook department is closed at this hour, yet they have people incorrectly grading my bets at this hour.

This is a joke and looks to me like a scam.
Fix this shit immediately and credit my payout of $1389.97 to my account.

Yeah and of course the rep on here has nothing to say because they know they are scamming me out of this. 10 hours since the match and I still have yet to be paid. I don't know about poker but stay away from the sportsbook especially esports. Very suspect people running it

Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

It only takes an accidental reversal of scores on input to make something like this go wrong. An oversight.
Much more plausible than fraud / scamming.

And the rep hasn't checked this forum (that he has no obligation whatsoever to check) in 10 hours and that makes you certain he's in on it?
What if this happened five minutes after his workday ended in whatever timezone he's in, and his new day is yet to start? Does he even check in here on a daily basis? Is he even working today? Are you at your job 24/7?

Instead of crying "SCAM" the second it happens, why not send a polite message to their support to mention they've made a mistake in a match outcome and if they could kindly rectify the situation. You'll resolve it faster and without needing to stress, and certainly without needing to make a fuss on an almost unrelated public forum.
If they made an honest mistake, they'll be embarassed enough as it is without you screaming bloody murder at them.

If you've spoken to the reps I've spoken to they are anything but embarrassed. In fact, they are actually daring to hold their claim that I lost the parlay.

First of, my shift just started. Second, I am not a CS rep to provide inmediate assistance. Third, Americas Cardroom's main service is poker and sports is provided by a third party company so if there's something that has to be reviewed, we need to wait until their shift start.

With that said, I already talked to the CS department which are the ones allow to help you on this matter. They noticed that indeed there is a problem on the grading which is going to be fixed in the next hour or two since sports needs to make some upgrades on the system, but we will try to have it done asap

I think I saw this mentioned already but it really should be fixed: sitouts shouldn't be allowed to show down and win pots. I keep seeing situations where there is one sitout on the bubble of a tournament who is put all-in by the blind, and triples up with a random hand when they should have been forced to muck and bust out. Another short stack then busts on the bubble, and the sitout cashes in the tournament.

This really affects bubble play in a very negative way, and it isn't fair to those who are present at the table. In live poker, if you're not at the table, your hand is mucked regardless of your position or stack size.

Good day buddy,

If you switch to rakeback you would receive 27% rakeback but you will not receive combat points any more, however, the points you have already generated will remain on your account, so you can use them to enter to tournaments where points are allow but you will not be able to cash them out on the store since once the change is done the store will be removed.

You can request the change to RakeBack@AmericasCardRoom.eu

Thanks for the input, I have sent it to the dep in charge for review.

Dear ACR Rep

Will you please inform me when players will be able to see other player's hole cards if the action gets to the river & a bet it called. There is so much value in being able to see what your opponent had while calling U down to the river. Also having this feature helps to prevent possible collusion between players at the table.

I was informed in 2015 during the Freebuy Series that it would be coming soon. I was also told during the Freebuy Series in 2016 that that option would be available to players soon.

Will this option to see opponent's hole cards be available on ACR & when exactly will it be?

Very good point. I have seen this way too often as well. Of course in the situations I see it happen it seems like I am the one that is short-stacked on the bubble(LOL, my attempt at a bad beat story).

Thanks for bringing this to the attention of ACR.

I will keep you informed as soon as we get any outcome in regards this suggestion
