ACR Bugs

It seems that ACR thinks that admitting there is a problem with their software is an acceptable answer to legitimate complaints. As a software developer for most of my life, I can tell you it should never be acceptable. This is not a video game - there is money exchanged and the TESTING BEFORE IMPLEMENTATION should be as extensive as a banking application or the credit card Apps used to take their deposits. That is obviously not the case. Would like to know the ratio of resources between developers and testers as well as what testing tools are used. Completely inadequate in my opinion.
Does anybody else have that problem? And they seat me with guys that have 5 to 10 times the amount of chips. Just to make sure that I can't bluff.

So I won quite a bit of $$$ in the casino playing off my mobile, went to cash out a couple days ago and now being told I have to rake 10% of my last deposit??? I only have mobile right now so I cant play ring games, I can only play blitz or jackpot sngs. Anyone know how the rake system works for either of those, I need to rake $30 as quickly as possible. ACR Rep maybe you can help?

I want to give Andy at ACR some props.

I accidentally bought into the free superbuy tourney - I clicked the wrong button, meant to click the button to watch the video and re-enter for free, but I hit the 'pay4$' button by mistake.
I sent an email explaining, not expecting much, but to my surprise Andy refunded my 4$, so thank you for that wherever you are.

Here's a new to me glitch, a warning to everyone : I registered for an on-demand satellite that showed zero players registered and was immediately placed at a table in the Big Blind with a sixth of my stack gone. Seems the tourney had actually been running for some time, with 29 entrants and fifteen had already busted out. I always wondered what kinda idiot would late register for a tournament with six blinds, now I wonder how many are victims of the software. I will try to remember to always open the lobby of any tourney and register from there.

I'm an ACR Stormer so I am incentivized to say good things about ACR; however I do agree with this sentiment as I am a player FIRST and FOREMOST. I will say in ACR's defense though that the reason they have to update so often is that the bots are always updating as well, and if you want a site free of bots, then you will have to deal with frequent updates. Although it is unacceptable from a software development standpoint, I think sometimes we have to balance our wants. To coin the overused phrase "we can't have our cake and eat it too."

But trust I am frustrated with the outages too.

Is there some sort of new memory requirement for running ACR optimally? It seems as though since the graphics update my computer is having to reload tables quite often. And every time I hit the money in the tournament it's almost certain to crash all my tables. It will even get to the point that it affects my lobby or conversely sometimes trying to load the lobby will cause the same problems on my tables forcing me to reload them and sometimes the whole game client.

I will be the first one to say it could be my computer which is why I ask what are the optimal specs for a PC to have in order to determine if the problems in having are my fault or the sites.

Can you reenter for free in the 20k freeroll?



When i click on the lobby it shows that if you bust, you can watch a video to rebuy for free twice. Can anyone here confirm this?



Someone mentioned a while back freerolls with 5k gtd and up did not have this option. But does this?

looks like some more egg on acr's face if not worse. $20k freebuy is byebye. no update regarding knockout hand issue.

knockout hands are hands where you bust or another player busts. they are the most important hands to analyze and they do not appear in the poker client. this has been an issue since the update in May and the developers if they exist still have not figured it out or given any update on how close they are to remedying the issue.

play acr at your own risk folks.

Soooo...2500 plus players still in 20k freebuy super series when game froze...will it restart when techs address issue? If it does restart will there be a 10 or 15 minute warning so we don't need to be a prisoner to our pc, waiting and watching so as to not have it restart and be blinded out of the trny?

The trny doesn't even show in the lobby now.

Updates would be nice.

Other trnys are still functioning as they should, which makes me wonder if this 'problem' is totally generated by design by ACR.

yep , its so sad

the signature event of the ACR freebuy series and it freezes up !? not a very good promotional calling card . they better get the software issues corrected by the time the big venom begins , or there will really be bad publicity .

I'm not really sure what to do here anymore. I don't hop on here and complain every time the site has an update or crashes or even when it cancelled a tournament 7000 people waited months for...

What I wanna know is how the freebie game from 10a.m. with 21 people left is still running after the site froze.

How is it that an attack can target a certain tournament? This has happened way too often for it to be random any more. None of these tournaments came close to the guarantees so it seems like the site is hedging its bets...

This leads me to believe if this what else. I try not to rely on online because of what it is becoming I will continue to use it for what it can be used for but at some point enough people are going to notice and it will become the beginning of the ultimate end... Just ask Mike Postle!!!

when you hit re enter it should give you the option to watch a video and re enter for free up to 2 times
Happened to me today. I hit reenter and it gave me a choice but when I clicked reenter ACR took the fee. Nice scam.

ACR paid me $1,500 in the month of October to stream free rolls. I can say no ill about ACR. I'll gladly accept a crash once-in-awhile in x/c for all the other good shit that they provide. I like the HUD's. I like that they fight the bots. And the ACR Stormer program is like the best fukkin deal in town. You wish you were in the cool kids club bruh.

Acr great for freerolls

ACR is really great platform for poker savvy, and freerolls are so nice to earn some buck through your poker skill. i enjoyed playing at ACR.:)

Hi, allow me to provide you all the relevant information about PC requirements to run our client:
1. We currently support all standard versions of Microsoft Windows from Windows 7 onwards. We also support Mac.
2. You will need a system that supports 800×600 graphics settings, although for a more enjoyable experience we recommend a screen setting of 1024×768 or higher.
3. You’ll need 30MB of space on your hard drive for the online poker Client download and installation. We also recommend a minimum of 512 MB Ram and 1GHz CPU.
