Hey everyone don't try and chat while playing in the tournaments on ACR right now. I was trying to chat and every time I hit the "Enter" button to send my chat it was raising my hands,all messed up...:bath:

Yeah ive had this problem as well. dont understand how me typing and hitting enter should have anything to do with raising a bet

As someone that very rarely plays online anymore, I am really liking the updates, play seems very fast and looking forward to all the bugs being worked out. I even got to sit at a low stakes Stud8 table yesterday and only lost a dollar.
My one complaint right now, I can find no option for the game window to pop up if the action is on you. I was trying to play 2 tables but kept getting sat out because that option isn't available right now.

ACR & BCP Problems

Has anyone else suffered from the poor peformance of these sites? It's been going on since they upgraded (?) eleven days ago and all I can play is cash games and Venom. No freerolls including CC. When will it get back to normal?

Give them time. They've done a massive upgrade to their software system and it takes time to work out bugs and kinks before they'll be back and running to the standards that they were before. Patience is key, my friend.

Tournament #10697024, missing step 3 ticket

Hi,

Not trying to pile on with requests that may correct themselves in time, but I just played a step 2 venom satellite and placed 5th in the tourney. At the end of the tourney it did not pop up with the screen sating I had won a step 3 ticket, so I went to my tickets page to see if it had been credited and it does not show in the list. I will keep checking in anticipation that it will eventually show, but wanted to let you know in case it does not. If I don't see it in the next day I will follow up with a request to credit it to my account. My ACR name is the same as my name here in case it needs to be looked up.

Hand History file location text has wrong format for folder location.
( Should be ::
"C:\AmericasCardroom\HandHistory" not "C:\AmericasCardroom/HandHistory" The slash is the problem. )


Lobby updates are laggish, or non existent.
( one has to press the tabs above the announcement window in order to refresh. this should occur automatically,
as a game(s) status change )

Slow/Laggish window spawning when multitasking different lobbies/games.

These are just initial issues I have seen so far. I am sure as time progresses, more will be found.

As for CC freerolls, ACR still working out buggs. will be some time before they are ready.

Also happened in the next Venom Step 2, Tournament #10697308, that I played. No ticket awarded for the Step 3 for that win. That makes 2 total Step 3 tournament tickets ( Tournament #10697308 &

I just realized that the "Venom" tournaments are limited to only 400 players, without a no time limited late registration if a player gets knocked out.

WHY?

Please increase the registration number to at least 1000 players and/or make late registration, for up-to an hour-ish and/or X amounts of blinds, active if a player gets knocked out.

My reasoning why this needs to be done is because the registration limit fills to the 400 max inside of 15 minutes of going active and you have 10's of thousands of people that want to start playing again that have missed out playing while WPN has upgraded their software.

I know, and before the updates the games were running good.
They need to work the bugs, then work the timing.

As far increasing the player count, I'd rather be on the Hindenburg than the titanic, better survival rate. :icon_sile

VENOM still there, how to get cash balance.

With ACR update, this worked for me: VENOM step one is still there, tournament, freeroll

how to get cash balance.

If you go to cashier and it shows $0.00 for your balance, and you KNOW you have a balance,
click on financial history, drop-down box, select current month. Then my cash balance showed correctly.

Don't try to do late reg with VENOM, it caps entries at 400, it can get to 400 entries quickly,

I agree. I don't mind the 400 player cap, but they should be on demands, not scheduled. Its crazy for a tournament to reach the cap in pre-reg and then not start for another 2-3 hours. They must want to control the number of players and the number of MTT running at once so as not to overload the servers. That's the only rationale I can think of. Must also be why most buy-in tourneys right now are freeze outs.

Is this the final edit for the new ACR? The on demands are now super turbo where playing is like bingo. Go all in or get blinded out in a couple of rounds. Also, are the freerolls coming back? Casino.org, cardschat etc?

Something is not working in the new Software. More than eleven days is too much, almost nothing happens improvement, great disappointment. I hope the problems will soon be resolved, are already very missing CC freerolls.

The step 1 Venom tourneys are every 2 hours, capped at 400 players and I like this way better than the old structures they had. When the were every 4 hours and had 1 hour of late entry they would attract up to 2000 players all trying to get one of 113 tickets. this meant it was a free for all bingo fest for at least the first hour. Everyone trying to make a stack that would last into the late stage of the tourney. I played many and it was all in by multiple players for about 8 out of every 10 hands played. then the late registrants would buy in and be immediately on a short stack so would go all in on most any two cards or the best hand they saw in the fist 10 hands they were dealt. Many players would just shove any reasonable hand until they quadrupled or more their starting chip stack. This really isn't doing any of us any good at learning to play better poker. it is just bingo. Who really wants that?

I like the new structure. The top 10% of players get a Step two ticket. Tourneys are shorter in length! If you want to let 1500 players enter to compete for the same 40 tickets and take 3-31/2 hours to get close to the bubble; I can't understand that. I would rather play in one tourney per day with 400 players to one of 40 tickets than open the registration back up to allow 2000 players and be able to play 5 tourneys in a day with only about 2-3% of the players in each tourney getting Step two tickets.

this is for the ACR rep. are they going to bring back the actual sit and gos. 6 man and 9 man. I love the turbo multi player SNG but would love some 6 or 9 man action as well

I don't know what is wrong with your software, running freeze outs is fine but if you keep running 6 min blind level tournaments and pretend like that is normal. And cancel half the re-entry tournaments with 10 minute blind levels and pretend there is nothing wrong. You are going to just piss off your customers even more than they already are. And I have been pretty loyal so take that for what it is worth. I am getting pretty close to telling you NH and GG and deleting your software forever.
