ACR Rep,

I reported months ago how the poker client hijacks our browser when we quit the program. The programmers actually removed that from the software in an update for the client, and all was well for several weeks.

A recent update has re-instated this stupid, nasty piece of shit way to hit us up with another advertisement before exiting. Why did they do that again?

If the only program running on my computer is your poker client, when I am done for the night -- I am done. I don't need to have my laptop open up my browser when I am in the process of shutting down for the night.

But, hey, they did get one thing right. It is not opening Internet Exploder (or Edge) anymore. That is a step in the right direction, cuz it now opens my default browser.

Please remove this. Please. Double please. It is irritating, rude and quite frankly pretty petty of you to keep doing this.

I'm really sorry about that, I sent it with priority to the department in charge.

Hi, sorry to hear that. Fortunately, there's a way for you to download the hands. Just go to the poker client, click on Game Info>> View Hand History>> Options and then, Open Folder and that's going to automatically download it as a text file. Let me know if there's anything else I can assist you with.

I did this, but it is not possible to read the files. I tried to import them into HM2, but it was not possible. Follow the printout of one of the files to better understand what I mean.

Do you know how to solve this?

Hi, I sent your comment to the department in charge so, they can take a look on this important matter. One of our CS agent will send you the full hand through the email registered on your account but he needs the specific hand ID or the tournament ID, so he can help you with it.

Thank you. In fact I would like to receive the hands histories of all the hands that I have played, due to the loss of my database. All files are like this, except those that were thrown after the bug in my HM2.
In addition, the print file was: HH20190126 T9378101-G63532180

I just wanted to express my gratitude for being there for those of us who enjoy playing online poker in the US. I also enjoy the abundance of freerolls. Thanks

Well said. Very rude. Makes me angry. I could play at other sites that don't do that. Maybe I should.

I second the motion of outrage, Slim.

Ever since the update that stopped the browser hijacking I have been bothered by 4 popups each time I start. Script errors. I close each one in turn & the client works fine for me. Have noticed they have fired up the hijacking again but did not fix the script errors.

I use a program called ProcessOK from the above site to kill the last window of ACR poker client when I am done. Fast & easy. Does zero damage. Just kills the process without popups or hijacked browsers starting.

We support this complaint. Thanks, Slim.

I will try using Task Manager to close the client and see if it can do so without triggering the hijacking. Still is a pain in the ass to even have to resort to such measures.

Just wanted to let you know, and others, that you can kill the ACR client with Windows Task Manager and it will not trigger the browser pop up.

Royal pain in the ass, but it is better than having my browser spool back up when I want to shut down. This is an old laptop and it is really good for just one thing, playing poker.

ProcessKO makes it fast & easy.

I use a program called ProcessHacker2 to replace my Task Manager. As you say it is several steps & very detailed about anything running. I use it for detailed & security work on my system. I used it to kill ACR process before I discovered ProcessKO.

I use ProcessKO for this as it is simple & quick. It lists everything running & instantly kills anything I click on. I let it run on the task bar with almost no affect on system resources.

Would be nice if ACR stopped hijacking software on my computer. They really are not very user friendly.

But, like Trump, what are you gonna do? We replace him in 2020 & wait for another USA friendly room to replace ACR.

God bless.  :hmmmm2: :damnmate:

I just checked...

You are correct. The CC $100 FR have been removed from the schedule. I checked SPB & the $200 CC FR for today is still scheduled. I am not sure what is happening with the ACR free rolls. Will do some more checking.

God bless.   :hmmmm2:

To everyone out there!!! Do Not play micro stakes cash on this site. ONLY play tournaments trust me. I'm not sure what's going on with this site but it seems like something is very wrong. I've burned through 22 buy-ins using flopzilla and assigned CORRECT ranges and still getting crushed. Before that I had burned through 10 and before that 14. Something is really wrong with these numbers. I've literally never won at cash this site is trash. Play tournaments or save your money.

We can relax.

I have it on good authority that they have NOT been dropped. Another in position to know says they are renewed on the 1st each month.

If not today then tomorrow for sure.

See ya at the tables. God bless. :D  :damnmate:
