Y'all should add some sorta marker when a person is straddling. When multi-tabling I have several times called what I thought was a min-raise only to have the maniac re-pop from his straddle. Also, marking the straddler just lets us know that a probable maniac has joined the table.

I've noticed that the name changes for a brief time for the straddle to STRADDLE.

Hello ACR. If I have accounts on ACR and other WPN room (no matter BCP or another one) is it allowed for me to play OnDemand's via both acc\s in the meantime? You says above that it's no problem to play MTT's via same IP and homehold for two different accounts, players just should not play cash games and SnG's. But the question is, can the same person use two skins to play these OnDemand's? Of cause I'm not going to play No Limit cash games at the same time from both, it will never happen, and I don't play SnG tourneys at all. The question is about these OnDemand's only, not about buy-in tourneys. Thank you.

P.S.: still have the problem with the unclickable lobby bug, don't know what to do. If I close ACR I need to reinstall the program each time. It's already some kind of habit for me to reinstall it lol.

That's the way I understood it to be. You can play from the same IP with multiple accounts for the MTTs. You are prevented from using more than one account at a time for cash tables and sit-n-gos. AFAIK, the same is true at other poker rooms, including pokerstars.

Shortcut Bar

I've been playing ACR. There is often a shortcut action bar, with various precalculated bets (1/4 pot; 1/2 pot; pot; all-in). Sometimes it's there, and sometimes it's not. Is that a known issue? Has anyone else had this problem? It's a pain when it's gone.

You can have only one account per skin. But you can't have both poker applications open. The system will block the poker account if you open both poker applications.

Regarding the issue, please be so kind and contact our CS department and explain that you still have this issue, tell them so they can direct you with a tech agent.

Yeah, it's the same thing as two different people playing in the same household and I thought you had previously inferred this.

Hey ACR rep

Your tournament structures are the best. Especially the 10k stack 12min level starting at 10/20. My favorite structure. I always look for tourneys with that structure. The 10k 15min starting at 15/30 or 20/40 is not as good, they're ok (still better than other sites) but the 10/20 12min levels is a much better structure.

On most other sites, once you're deep the average is 15 to 20 BBs but on ACR once deep and even on FT the average is 30 - 40 BBs. Alot more room for play, not just a shove fest and close your eyes and hope.

Don't listen to those that complain the tourneys run too long, the deeper the better. You have plenty of turbo tourneys for them to play if they want. Why play a deeper format and then complain they run too long? Crazy.

Would love if you guys consider an even deeper format (especially a higher buy in tourney). Maybe try it once a week and see how it goes. If it's popular enough, you can start adding more tourneys with the deeper structure. People that think it's too slow don't need to play them.

Try the structure I mentioned above that I like, and instead of 12mins maybe 15min or even 20min.

Cheers
Donskey

Yeah, I keep wondering why you can't download a custom avatar.

Yeah, you should be able to upload your own custom avatar. I don't care for any of the cartoons they have now. So many sites now let you upload your own I don't know why you can't on ACR.

Just had one of the worst customer service experiences ever, certainly the worst from a poker room.

Background: I've never done an ACR add on before. I saw their $500 GTD had a lot of overhead, and the tournament's lobby advertises:

2000 starting chips
2000 rebuy chips $1 up to level 12
5000 add on chips $1 before level 13

With middle stacks right around 7k, I figured I'd jump in for $2 and be in a decent position. However, I couldn't add on once I loaded in. On BOL, you can only add on at breaks, but this said add on before level 13, so I interpreted that to mean that you can add on at any time.

Turns out, you also can only add on at certain periods. The website's explanation is extremely vague, however:

Re-buy tournaments typically have an add-on period at the end of the rebuy stage. Although this may vary, players may usually add on for the same amount of chips they started with. Generally add-ons are offered to everybody regardless of size of stack. Once the add-on period is over players can no longer buy-in or re-buy into the event.

"Generally" "typically" "may vary"

So I felt kinda screwed out of this, since I wouldn't have joined if I knew I had to go small stack and couldn't add on. So I went to chat to explain the situation.

First person I spoke to was Luke P, who was helpful but transferred me pretty quickly. Then I spoke to Johnny V. Here's some highlights:

Hello Matt, my name is Johnny, please a moment

‎12‎:‎05‎:‎24‎ ‎PM

Please be kindly informed you were already finished, there for there is no way to make and add on.

I explain that I understand, but I wanted to add on before being eliminated. He sends me the link that I quoted above, which hints that I could only add on at certain times. He confirms this. Then:

That's not what the tournament says

‎12‎:‎32‎:‎25‎ ‎PM

It says "add on chips before level 13"

‎12‎:‎34‎:‎08‎ ‎PM

Johnny

Yes, because it was it the last one option to rebuy, and you were finish before the level 13, there it will give you the option to rebuy because of the level.

Matt

Rebuy and add on are two different things

‎12‎:‎38‎:‎10‎ ‎PM

Johnny

Add on is the last opportunity to reebuy

‎12‎:‎38‎:‎33‎ ‎PM

Matt

Again that is not what add on means

‎12‎:‎38‎:‎48‎ ‎PM

The last opportunity to rebuy is still called rebuy

‎12‎:‎38‎:‎57‎ ‎PM

Add on was 5k chips, rebuy is 2k

‎12‎:‎40‎:‎17‎ ‎PM

Johnny

Sir, I just explained this many times, and don't know what to do for you to understand, I also sen the definition, and we are going circles, therefore I'm going to close the chat if don't have any other besides this.

‎12‎:‎40‎:‎32‎ ‎PM

Matt

I need to speak to someone else please

‎12‎:‎40‎:‎51‎ ‎PM

Johnny

No sir, there is no reason for that.

‎12‎:‎41‎:‎00‎ ‎PM

I hope you have a good day.

‎12‎:‎41‎:‎02‎ ‎PM

Matt

I am aware of the definition of add on, you seem to be confused on rebuy vs add on

Johnny V has left the chat.

At this point I get the pleasure of talking to Konrad. He sends the same link, also asks why I need to keep being explained the same thing, and then also leaves the chat.

Wow

Here’s my chat with Konrad if you are interested:

| 05.08.2018 10:41:15 | Konrad: Hello Matt, my name is Konrad A, how may I help you?
| 05.08.2018 10:41:31 | Matt: Hello Konrad. Are you able to see my past chats?
| 05.08.2018 10:41:52 | Matt: If not I can explain the situation again
| 05.08.2018 10:45:10 | Konrad: sir what is an add on for you? you were already exlain this
| 05.08.2018 10:46:34 | Matt: An add on is an additional amount of chips that can be added to your stack, up to a certain point, and only once. It is different from a rebuy, which is a chance to buy back into a tournament with the same starting chips after you have already been eliminated
| 05.08.2018 10:47:22 | Matt: If your site only allows add on's at certain points - such as breaks - it should say so on the tournament. NOT "add on chips $1 up to level 13"
| 05.08.2018 10:47:37 | Matt: That implies that you can do it at any time up to level 13
| 05.08.2018 10:51:49 | Konrad: https://www.americascardroom.eu/online-poker/tournaments/how-to-play/re-buy-tournaments/ (https://www.americascardroom.eu/online-poker/tournaments/how-to-play/re-buy-tournaments/)| 05.08.2018 10:51:55 | Konrad: please check this link
| 05.08.2018 10:52:03 | Konrad: this was already explain to you
| 05.08.2018 10:52:11 | Matt: I understand
| 05.08.2018 10:52:15 | Konrad: you are giving us these facts and is not correct
| 05.08.2018 10:52:25 | Konrad: so is there something else i can help you?
| 05.08.2018 10:52:31 | Matt: It is only available at certain times, I'm explaining that the tournament does NOT specify this
| 05.08.2018 10:54:18 | Matt: While I understand how it will go moving forward, the poor wording had me enter a tournament I would not have otherwise
| 05.08.2018 10:55:15 | Konrad: so is there something else i can really help you?
| 05.08.2018 10:55:50 | Matt: Yes, I believe I should be refunded for this tournament. I tried to bring it to your attention before I was eliminated
| 05.08.2018 11:03:00 | Matt: The rules link that you sent does not specify that you can only add on at certain times. It says "typically have an add-on period at the end of the rebuy stage."
| 05.08.2018 11:05:25 | Konrad: ok, sir how many time do we need to explain you this?
| 05.08.2018 11:05:34 | Konrad: the refund is not going to be process

This level of rudeness from customer service people is completely unacceptable.

It’d be one thing if they said “we’re sorry you misunderstood, we should change the wording, etc but we aren’t going to give you a refund.” It’s another to give me attitude for their terrible and extremely vague wording and not accept any responsibility.

Everytime ... never fails. Why do you even try to run series that your site clearly can not handle. Your software clearly can't handle the traffic increase because the same thing happens every time ... Take the hint and hire some actual programmers that know wtf they are doing ...
