Hey, how to have that silly option disabled in the first place?

If you don't want to have the Double or Nothing > Click on Options > Table Options > in other options uncheck the Double or Nothing > Click apply and then ok.

Hi, just to make sure, did you click on apply?

Hi, could you please be so kind and check if you have the latest Java and Flash player? Also which internet browser are you using? Did you try to change it for another browser? Yesterday we had a maintenance but now everything should work fine.

It showed the box unchecked when I looked. Turned it off awhile ago and never offered it to me again till after the Maintenance.

I'll try enabling it and disabling it again to see if that works.

That worked.

Are you using a Mac computer? If so, that would explain the lag and other technical issues. ACR is not Mac compatible.

If you need help or have any other questions let me know.

Hi ACR Rep.

For quite a while now I have been getting a ridiculous amount of lag which is making both ACR and BCP unplayable, it gradually uses my time bank up and when that happens I have to preselect call otherwise I get folded every hand, sometimes I get folded even after preselecting call.

BCP username is ccZORBAcc

ACR username is XZORBAX

I play more on BCP than ACR but they both act the same, I have a high speed internet connection and I don't have this problem on other sites.

It is getting to the stage that I don't want to play there anymore due to the frustration that this problem causes me.

I have the latest update downloaded from BCP today as it wouldn't update and I got a message to go to the download page of BCP to re-download the client, it made no difference.

Thanks in advance.

I apologize for the late reply, recently we had an update. Could you please be so kind and let me know if the lag still happening? We do not have familiar cases regarding lagging at the moment. If you still have it let me know so I can check this with the IT department.

Thanks for the reply and I appologise for my impatience, I will uninstall and reinstall both clients again but this has been happening for many months now and it has gradually gotten worse.

Your techs should be able to see how it affects me if they can check my history, I am not a player that takes a lot of time to make a decision and during our Cardschat games I have spoken in chat with others that have had similar problems but not to my extent.

I will reply soon with the results of your suggestion.

I’m seriously seeing so many bad beats on the acr site that it makes me question the RNG. Not just my own beats but other players especially. I can’t fathom why the laws of percentages are so far off. Obviously bad beats happen but something seems blatantly wrong with the statistical probability. I am seeing 90% favorites lose with much frequency. Also, I see many quads, royal flushes and straight flush much more than any other site or live play (I know I’m seeing many more hands online then Live but still) Is there a website or company that I can contact about the RNG for information. It’s gotten to the point that I see players flipping each with any 2 and stating that they rather get it in bad, as it increases there odds of winning. I’m not claiming it’s rigged or anything. I just wanna know why I see so many abnormal results and miracle rivers and suckouts. It’s funny but I now call out the river card that is needed to win (for the bad beat) and it comes a lot. I’d like to be deep in a tournament and not get my heart broken by a ridiculously bad beat someday. I know I’m not the only one that experiences this. Is there a way to see the RNG probability chart.

ACR deposit policy...

I have been playing on BOL for a while, but I noticed that my deposits go through third parties all over the world. My last deposit of $500 went through China and they took ~10% vig + $16 "Foreign Currency Conversion" fee or
(~$ 77)! Obviously it is unprofitable to win under those conditions. Does ACR offer a more attractive vig??

ACR rep.... Please weigh-in here..

A lot of Kare, straight flush and other monsters is a bad sign. online poker is part of the entertainment industry. People come and pay money to get entertainment for the evening. They do not want to play boring dull poker, where to get a pair you need to play 20 minutes, and that would see a penalty - a few months (for a player playing one table a couple of hours in the evenings). Such players want to see the action and get their adrenaline from a beautiful strong game. Is the poker room meeting them? Nothing personal, just business.

Hi! We do not charge any fees for deposits.
Then why would anyone play at BOL, where they take 6.5% themselves, and say that they are "not responsible for foreign currency conversion fees (FCCF)". ACR must also use third parties. Do the 3rd parties charge?

When I complained to BOL about this, they credited my account with the amount over 6.5%, but would not refund the FCCF.

Also, can anyone please explain how "rakeback" works, and how to get it? I am a serious player and it seems that I should be up on this.

Thanks....

Lizzie:

I had the same issue with bodog when my visa deposit went to a Chinese bank that took my Canadian money and exchanged it, even though I can use Canadian cash on the Bodog site. Then to add insult to injury, the Chines bank exchanged it back to Canadian. These two exchange fees came to over 7%. I got the same feeble response that you are getting from the ACR rep: "We don't charge fees." That is not a fact if the bank they use are charging fees that we must pay. Under the circumstances, ACR like Bodog may need to start using reputable banks and not those in China.

By the way, I made enough noise about the unfairness of it that Bodog refunded the 7% and phoned from Kanawake in Quebec and apologized and explained the banking problems that some poker sites are having.

And when I received my VISA invoice last week, my bank (Chase) had not charged me anything for my deposit, even though I was expecting to get dinged the standard $5 fee.
