Deposit methods

I cannot find e-check as one of the deposit methods on ACR. Is it available? Another one I like is the direct bank transfer. is it available at ACR? I have been researching EcoPayz. According to their sign up information, I could get hit with extra fees on top of my deposit. These range from 0 to 7%. That could be a costly way to fund an ACR account - as bad as credit cards.

Not sure how many Aussies came on board when ban came into place, but you should target this market if not many. Also, I find that only time to play is really in morning for us Aussies. Not much in way of tourneys around midday onwards which is limiting time on your site.

The deposit being taxed is why it's legal in USA, Australia etc. they like that there no direct ability to donate from the bank but it's all through them so they get money each transfer as added gambling tax.

Madman, what's your source for this idea about deposits being taxed?

Online gaming is legal, regulated, and taxed in New Jersey, Nevada, and Delaware:
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/06/24/stateline-online-gambling-revenues-fall-short/11306661/

The sites that serve players in other states are not based in the USA. They presumably follow the laws of the countries where they are located.
In some cases the USA has pursued legal action against these "gray market" sites, with limited success due to the complexity of prosecuting persons and entities in foreign countries.

In most US states it would be illegal to operate a gaming site, but not illegal to play on one. Here's some more information:

NJ and NV threatened riots if it was forced on them. They don't tax you for your deposits to and from PS 888 etc. what PS and 888 do is they pay banks monthly fees for easy direct transfer to and from accounts (they'd pay far more than the monthly fee through tax if they had something like this skrill 'poker wallet' type thing where you have to go through US gambling tax to put money into the account and then from the Skrill account it goes into ACR etc or whatever method you use it's always a middlemand method never in-and-out of your bank.

This deal-making with banks is a huge complication when it's outlawed as even if the site wants to be honest and pay the tax, the user base themselves get angry at how complex it becomes to move money in and out of the site and gets angry at the site (like PS) for charging deposit tax etc.

US economy loses MARGINALLY from online poker. In fact as you said in another thread very correctly, during the real boom era of online poker where PS and 888 were everywhere in adverts, REAL casinos were earning far more at poker tables.

This is EXACTLY why NV stood hard against it, NJ was just because they had/have very liberal senator(s) representing them at the time.

I want to report a few issues I am having with the Mac Beta client.

On tournaments:

The Lobby, Replay, View and Settings buttons stop working sometimes. In order to get them to work I have to restart the client.

Is the history button supposed to be active for tournaments? Because it's always greyed out.

Are there supposed to be any stats in the current client session stats window during tourneys? Because none ever show.

When I use the replay button, it only shows me the very last hand, even if I have been playing at the same table for awhile. I can't cycle to previous hands from that same table. The replay doesn't work sometimes as well. It will just freeze on the last actions.

On Cash Games:

I haven't been able to play any cash games yet as every time I get on a table it freezes and I get a window crash error. I restart and then it works for a bit, but before I post the blinds it will crash again. Luckily I haven't lost any blinds from the freezing.

If you happen to fix any of these please let me know.

I like ACR but it's a tad frustrating to play like this.

Congrats on covering 2 million dollar games yesterday. I really thought you wouldn't. Actually I thought you couldn't as that's a lot of players with large bankrolls.

I notice you are showing a weekly Million dollar game starting with the new year. Nice!

Now if you would only offer TB's and a good explanation about how we can get them and maybe even accumulate enough for us lower stake player to blow them all on the big games!

ACR does have something called Tournament Bucks.

If you are registered for an MTT and win a satellite into that same MTT, you will be paid in TBs. You can use them to enter MTTs and SNGs.

One TB = One Dollar, though you cannot convert them to dollars directly, you must spend them on entries.

Regarding the millions, it's not in my nature to be mysterious but I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why… we will let you know soon….

For the Tourney Bucks, which in specific are you referring? So I can assist you.

I have issues using my MAC on ACR. I was able to play, using the $5 they gave me for joining but have not tried a tournament or making a deposit. I was able to play a micro limit cash game and the software worked well. I ran into problems when I tried to open the large red CASHIER button in the lower right corner below the lobby. I am now considering a deposit, but their deposit methods are questionable. I won't use bitcoin or monopoly money and I won't use a credit card after getting hit with a 10% surcharge on another site.

Now having read the problems you are having on ACR with your MAC, I am even more hesitant about making a deposit as I have run into this before on another site with a Macintosh computer. It is surprising in this day and age as Mac is so common and other sites, like poker stars, work great with MAC.

Americas Card Room Scam

I am playing on this site for over 2 years.
My experience:
It is not a poker site. Players play like Bingo.
Do not expect sophisticated calls and raise. It is just Bingo.
Watch out for players just registered. They might be bots or paid players to get you out.
Do not ever go all in, you will lose 70% of the time.
If you win, then you fall in the next category.
Next Category: The site runs as slot machines. You will win/lose as long as they don't lose. Rake is on the House.
I am an average player.
I used to be 1st player in single Tables and 2nd in Multi Tables while playing in Empire Poker before Black Friday in 2009.
I never won a Tournament over 3 dollars in this site.
The Tournaments have a stupid rebuy or reenter for over 10-15 levels.
There are no serious Tournaments.
No Freezouts that worth it.
No Bounty that worth it.

Single Tables are semi OK, you might get 2nd place playing Bingo Heads Up.

Conclusion: This site is rigged. You will lose on the long run.

Since USA banned poker online, we are just victims of non-regulated sites like Americas Card Room.

Good Lose, sorry; Good Luck.

Now you are talking total nonsense. Sites like ACR are more severely regulated in all ways than the competitors who refused to deal with the high-cost transfer methodology USA and Australia want to enforce on poker rooms. The regulation is so severe that if you were to even launder one cent in and out of a poker table it would be tracable by the records of 3 different things: ACR's records, the record of the middleman company like neteller/Skrill/Bitcoin etc, the record of the government taking tax from the gambling deposit/withdrawal.

You are saying it's less regulated but you are wrong. It's so abusively regulated that the government has a chokehold on the site making them and other sites that are allowed to provide to the rest of USA to not provide the 3 states who dared to stand up against Washington and the oppressive regime it represents when it came to outlawing poker rooms making deals with banks for 0-cost deposits+withdrawals for the user (the only cost is the tiny percent your bank charges for a deposit not the poker site).

They were cunning and pretended to be protecting vulnerable gamblers but they passed the laws only for greed and told the sites that can provide to the whole world and 47 states in USa to not provide to the three who stand for the freedom to gamble.

Now that a vile character like Trump is in power and since he has a lot of shares in his previously owned casino enterprise (he no longer owns it but still is a significant shareholder) he will never help you out since online gambling reduces the urge to go to his live gambling casino.

It's vile how corrupt USA is, they have this idea of superiority so ingrained in them that they actually have a president who will say 'America is the greatest country' just to get elected and one of the questions they can ask you in a polygraph test as a CIA or FBI agent is 'do you believe America is the greatest country in the world?' if you answer no you can be fired for that alone, if you lie and say yes you will be fired for sure so you can either learn to lie like a sociopath and pass it or need to be so brainwashed to answer yes to that.

The MI6 in britain and even generals in the british army never ever are forced to answer yes to UK/Gb being the greatest nation instead the question is worded 'would you ever betray britain' or something along those lines.

ACR is not unregulated and the fish are not a reason to blame them, if anything that's a compliment to the room's ability to advertise.

I'd love to see a source for the ideas that ACR is highly regulated and that the US government is taking a tax from deposits and withdrawals.

Neteller and Skrill are not available methods to deposit or withdraw on ACR from the USA. Bitcoin is not a company.

Now that a vile character like Trump is in power and since he has a lot of shares in his previously owned casino enterprise (he no longer owns it but still is a significant shareholder) he will never help you out since online gambling reduces the urge to go to his live gambling casino.

I'm a lifelong Democrat, but I'd love to see a source for this idea that Trump currently has any ownership in a casino.

Source for this polygraph story?

Corruption and jingoism are two different things.

Many Americans think their country is "the best", whatever "the best" means. Lots of people from lots of countries think their country is the best.
Your "England and proud of it" location in your profile makes me think you believe your country is the best.
It's fine for people to be proud of the place they are from or the place they live, no matter where it is. Some people take it too far. Many Americans have this fault, but every country has its flaws.
I personally don't think "which country is the best?" is a meaningful question, since there are so many different criteria that might be used.

UK is not the best country and throughout my childhood I've lived in Dubai, Atlanta, Belgium and Kenya. I am half sri lankan and other half is german + danish so before you come at me saying I'm jingoistic, I've known other cultures and nations and I'm extremely content in saying England is a very great country legally and in terms of globalism and tolerance of foreigners (yes yes I know by 4% the brexit idiots won the vote but believe it or not, that was mainly Indian 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants voting to keep out east European immigrants I am not joking) anyway, I voted remain for what that one vote is worth. Well I mean my family mostly voted remain (one of dad's cousins decided to vote remain and dad's brother is anarchist and refuses to vote).

Anyways, I am going to tell you this; you think NSA will publicly reveal what it asks in interviews let alone CIA? Don't be fool, you will learn one day the truth wait no you won't... That would imply they lose their chokehold.

Your first post was about the FBI and CIA, now it's the NSA and CIA. If none of this is public, how does a random guy in the UK know about it?

I can see how that link could be confusing. None of the casinos listed there still exist.

Trump Marina is now the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City.
http://www.pressofatlanticcity.com/news/top_three/trump-marina-becomes-golden-nugget-today-new-owner-to-give/article_3e92c33c-8559-11e0-84df-001cc4c002e0.html

The Trump Casino in Gary, Indiana is now part of the Majestic Star Casino.
http://www.nwitimes.com/news/local/trump-to-sell-gary-casino-to-majestic-star-for-million/article_585fc7eb-80db-5d01-a6d2-476641ad9f8f.html

The Spotlight Casino dropped its affiliation with Trump.
http://www.desertsun.com/story/news/politics/2016/03/21/donald-trump-spotlight-29/81860676/

That link from Bloomberg doesn't mention the two other Atlantic City Casinos Trump owned. Trump Plaza is closed and dormant. The Trump Taj Mahal is being transformed into the Hard Rock Casino Atlantic City.

YOU THINK TRUMP ISNT HAVING SHARES IN THE NEW CASINOS? He planned his own bankruptcy as it was less legal hassle to get a buyer that way. You don't understand how he thinks or works, people all think he is some idiot he is playing a character, he's a stone cold sociopath dancing around the ring with these amateur politicians.

He probably sent someone to North Korea specifically to tell Kim Jong Un that Trump thinks NK is a stupid country.

Who knows, maybe Trump knew they'd kill the messenger so it was win-win for him as he can now never be caught. He is starting something fishy and it's no coincidence after all his china talk pre-election that now suddenly it's a communist leader in China again... there are big things at play here it is corporation warfare not at all politics like you think.

You just think it's all fiarytale ping pong trump vs clinton... CLINTON WAS FUNDED BY TRUMP WHEN SHE RAN AGAINST OBAMA in the original term where she wants to be the Dem candidate. He's had dinner with bill and now calls him a filthy rapist... THEY ARE PLAYING A GAME AND YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A F***ING SPECTATOR, you are not even a victim or a pawn on the chess board you are literally a spectator that's how little you matter in the level of corruption happening here.

When you get rich enough to become an actual shareholder in a top tier corporation you will begin to understand why seemingly nonsensical moves like the Iraq war, outlawing poker or Obama standing up to BP after the oil leak which he himself orchestrated all happened.

And it's not even a debate if 9/11 was an inside job, the planes used were manufactured, liscensed and fuelled by official USA corporations all on record. How the hell can you practise the exact angle to fly at from such a ridiculous distance and know that no random hot air balloon will go up or that no fire team would come before the second plane hit (that's right, distance wise the fire brigade was able to make it in 8 minutes but it took them 14, there was a software chokehol din place to delay them receiving the alert so that the second plane could hit when everyone had their phones out and of course all were already looking at the first tower.

You don't understand what this all is, we are not even worth equal to a beef cow to the government, at least the cow is worth guaranteed cash to them we are just a nuisance.

The only good thing in UK is that the Conservatives have power despite a charismatic Labour party candidate running.

Corbyn is corrupt to the bone and has very sinister plans indeed if he gains power. Thank god May won it. All to say for now, peace out fellow spectator of the chess board.

Oh and for the record, Obama and Trump are the pawns, the kings are people so rich that you don't know they exist, they are literally trillionaires with thousands of identities, shares and properties so you would never realise their wealth.
