Nope. Not even any more "updates" that don't really say anything. Hope you're not holding your breath or anything :p

Does any know if there's a timeline for when the sites will learn their fate from the DOJ?

Forever, or at least a long long time. My guesstimate.

Confirms he's actually in Vegas but that's all. And my gawd it was cringeworthy - it's like "please Mr Lederer don't hit me" was implied after ever sentence. Methinks these QuadJacks people need some help from people who actually know what the hell they're doing.

Personally I found this story more interesting: http://www.subjectpoker.com/2011/06/phil-ivey-at-ftp-headquarters/

Nothing has changed with Stars.com that I can see. I can still go there. They have the DOJ notice on the front page explaining why US players can't play, but you can still fully access the site.

I mean the game itself. I get the auto-update message, a fail notice and a message to download a new copy of the sw. However, the only option on the dl page is the .net version. Wondering if this is tied to the DOJ deal.

Not having a problem with the client either, so still unsure what you were running into. I suspect for whatever reason your update failed (mine updated the other day just fine, btw), and the default remedy is to download and reinstall.

Tried that. Sends me to the website, I click download, it sends me to another dl page on which the only option is the .net client. Could be a Mac issue. The hell with them. They're stealing millions from the people with less than a dollar anyway.

The planetary alignment is coming... poker bill introduced in Congress, major players in Vegas in talks with on-line sites... Let's hope for the best.

Prediction: Phil Ivey will come out and announce that he is dropping his lawsuit with Tiltware just in time to enter the Main Event.

Fantasy: Ivey/Helmuth face off at the Main Event final table - Helmuth has to win to get Player of the Year honors, but Ivey stops him cold with 76 suited.

Doesn't look like it's being confirmed by anyone who's actually tried it yet and it's almost certainly not worth the trouble if you only have a small amount (or applicable if you've got a very big amount) on the site but for those with the right sized balance there might be an alternative way to get your funds from FTP through the Alderney court system:

You gotta figure Binion has been pissed off about full tilt for quite a while now... Or at least a little jealous. Now he is drawing to the nut flush and they are all in with a small pair. Interesting situation.

Actually, I think its a pretty good option for some people. Filing fee is 50 pounds. The limit this court can adjudicate is (according to the thread ) 4000 dollars. 50 pounds is roughly 80 us dollars. On 4 grand that's 50-1 pot odds on getting your money back to just fill out some paper work. It appears to be legitimate. Essentially your taking them to small claims court.
