Whoah! US players completely cut off from Stars.com? What gives?
Nothing has changed with Stars.com that I can see. I can still go there. They have the DOJ notice on the front page explaining why US players can't play, but you can still fully access the site.
Not having a problem with the client either, so still unsure what you were running into. I suspect for whatever reason your update failed (mine updated the other day just fine, btw), and the default remedy is to download and reinstall.I mean the game itself. I get the auto-update message, a fail notice and a message to download a new copy of the sw. However, the only option on the dl page is the .net version. Wondering if this is tied to the DOJ deal.

Doesn't look like it's being confirmed by anyone who's actually tried it yet and it's almost certainly not worth the trouble if you only have a small amount (or applicable if you've got a very big amount) on the site but for those with the right sized balance there might be an alternative way to get your funds from FTP through the Alderney court system:
