Got caught up in the moment and decided I never have a bluff therefore he can never call. After it I questioned why I would call the turn if I thought he could fold the river. Suppose heart draw is more common than backdoor one but still.

Edit: could you guys actually give me feedback on this. I still think it wasn't a bad spot to make a move. Perhaps against a better player though. Stats at the time of this hand were 21/13.

I would typically want to hold the nut-blocker (Kh) to make this move, and I don't think I would make it at 5nl. Hell, I think it's probably not profitable at 25nl. But, I am an amateur LAGtard sometimes, so I do it anyway.

Nut blocker doesn't make any difference in this situation. I knew exactly what he had (minus the suits). He doesn't play anything other than QJ this way. I was almost getting the correct odds to flush mine + massive implied odds cause he isn't too great a player. I reckon it was a bad play due to the player. If this were against a capable regular I would definitely make the move again, the only factor preventing me from doing that is simply that good regulars aren't going to be giving me those odds.

I would appreciate spewtards 9K, Ducky and WV's thoughts on the matter please :)

Its pretty sick that he bets so small OTR, like i would say fold river but when he bets that i get tempted to ship it down his throat, however i think when an unknown x/r's the turn on this board we should be kinda worried, obvs we call the turn regardless

Id say fold river for like any bet over 25BB haha but when he bets 20 i can see why you shipped it over him and tbh i think its fine

Don't trust a 23/12 to fold a straight. A note really shouldn't be needed the fact he's a nitty fish is assurance enough.

Given that these player types are only calling with draws + weak made hands both of which we can barrel against easily with lots of turn cards helping us I like the Cbet.

Wondering if I should make a new set of notes for nitfish and regfish or just give them the fish one, do you guys specify fish to that extent, or is simply "fish" enough?
