Didn't really spew this morning (well I did in a 5bet pot with an OESD+Ahigh but he folded so... hehe), but someone else did at my table - guess he didn't get the memo about how I love calling.
poker stars, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players
nice nice, i almost spewed a bi oop in a 4b pot with J9o yesterday, i was sizing up a river jam and hovered over it thinking... well if this goes wrong then atleast i can contribute to the shame thread... then i thought NO arran that's the wrong way to think about it, play good, so i aggressively checked and he shoved (making me think he had it and that a shove would of been snapped). Wont be long till you see some 4b pot spew hands from me tho
Lol I love aggressively checking. Though it works better live when you can look like you're going to bet, then check and aggressively stare at your opponent - DARING them to bet. THAT'S aggressive checking!!

Pre Flop:(pot: $0.75)Hero has 5♣ 8♣
UTG raises to $1.00, MP calls $1.00, CO calls $1.00, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.50
Flop:($4.25, 4 players) 9♣ 5♠ 5♥ Hero checks, UTG bets $1.00, fold, CO raises to $2.00, Hero calls $2.00, UTG raises to $6.00, CO raises to $10.00, Hero calls $8.00, UTG raises to $72.85 and is all-in, CO calls $8.39 and is all-in,
I don't know how many 5x hands any of these guys have so aren't we only behind 99? i think cause you just flat call each raise otf this should be a snap call. I just feel like UTG always has over pairs here
but i know ur gonna call me a button clicking monkey and tell me why I'm wrong
addicted to zoom still, and 6m zoom at 50+ is quite harder than FR zoom so forcing myself to play FR as i kinda depend on poker to live these days
did enjoy playing 6m though and all study time revolves around that, at the end of the day its all poker but yeah i found 50 6m zoom to be similar to 100 6m normals which i think im probably a breakeven reg at :/ Will get there though, had a good 6m coaching session the other night so i'll crush it soon!
Loved FR Zoom. Games which involve folding constantly suit the format so well.
Just take a look at the shite winrates people have on it and how even the best regs have huge breakeven streaks and the hands/hr aint worth the hassle though.

Most the regs that have shite winrates at FR are playing like 12/10 and thats why they have more variance too. Id argue that good regs in both formats have equally long b/e stretches though, if ure a 4bb winner at normals and zoom then you should have exactly the same amount of 100k b/e stretches etc. Also part of the reason it looks like everyone is having shite winrates is cause there are way more guys that are content with breaking even for fpp's, like the mass of 12/10's at FR zoom who are never really gonna stand a chance of crushing the games. Defo can be worth playing zoom though, even if you're a 4bb/100 winner and have huge b/e stretches, you still have a nice hourly getting 1k hands per hour and good rb so i guess all that matters at the end of the day is $ per hour. Actually if you look at normal tables or zoom or just poker in general, most of the field does have shite winrates, think thats always going to hold true
