May just be the ones you have raised. Sometimes blocker, sometimes value or to induce

Also seen alot of regs fire 1/3 on flop CBETS in both MTTs and CASH, but they have both strong and weak hands especially on dryish or paired boards is this a correct strategy?

Well you don't expect players at this buy in to play 95 in the BB and you don't expect a raise into two players from a hand with a gutshot and a backdoor flush draw.

I'm finding this situation on the river quite profitable. When a reg fires out 1/3 pot on the river on a scary board it is often a sign of bet fold spot for them, so a raise takes them off the hand. Our raise doesn't have to be too big 3/4 to pot seems to be working well.
Any thoughts?

Yeah, I guess at these stakes it's ok. Obviously this is a pretty good bluff spot, and he should have a decent amount of two pair, but since he's passive you'll likely get more folds. At higher stakes this isn't going to work quite as well, but your general read about 1/3rd pot and fold is typically correct unless they are a thinking player that is baiting you.

Fold the flop. The main problem here is your double gutter leaves 4 to a straight on board, with one of those not carrying good implied odds and the one one not much at all. If you were going to play these, you'd need to 3-bet the flop imho.

Without info on your opponent, it's ok at these stakes. I'd prefer we call and then make a river decision. He shouldn't be tripling w/o a real hand, but it could be a random. He should be c/cing a lot of rivers except with a few over pairs.

I just decided my hand is too strong to fold here but not good enough to raise and wanted to see what he did on the river, although I'm mosly calling. I snapped off this river sizing, If he was going for value here its 3/4 pot or a shove not this weird overbet.

I guess no stats. Ya, this goes to my old theory of, if they are going to bluff, they can bluff for less and get the same result. So if you went with your read, that's fine because he's really narrowed himself to AQc/KQc/QcTc. In a BvB spot at these stakes, you're probably good here often enough in a spot like this to call here. If we had more info that could sway our decision of course.

No, I've stalled on that. Between managing my sons baseball team, coaching my daughters soccer team, running a business w/ 18 employees and starting a new startup w/ a friend of mine, I've been slim on time.

But what's really putting me out is I do all the cooking at my house. :) That's putting me over the top.

Hello! After reading your post, I was very interested in the book. How do you feel if I do not play poker for a very long time, does it make sense for me to start this book?

All we do is try right?

On a side note, I will have a lot of new free content here soon. I have been slowly banging away at putting together a completely free course utilizing some existing content and some new content. My goal is to get it all done by the end of next month, so we'll see how it goes.

Yes, you can jump in, read the book and ask questions. You can also post hands you've played in here and everyone in here is great about feedback. You'll get consistently good advice.

Well I'd hardly consider it butchered.
There just wasn't a hand good enough to continue against you.
Assuming the river bricks the only hand I can only see stacking off to a shove that we are beating is AK and maybe AcQc QcJc, but those hands probably call the $66 on the turn anyway.
I can't see any realistic 2 pair combo's other than the chop.
AA seems unlikely.

So he calls flop with 22 33 77-JJ QJs KQ AQ AK and slow played KK AA QQ but I'd expect those latter big starting hands to 4bet pre most of the time, especially at 6 max and against someone like you.

Lets say you made it $30-40 on the turn, firstly what's calling $30-40 that isn't calling $66? Qx, but Qx doesn't usually call a shove?
I think all his single underpairs fold when the K brings two overcards.
Yeah 66 does look a bit big and we miss out on the odd $40 maybe
66 its going to make the pot around 250 with 115 behind but all the more reason to call it off with AK. Even if you made it 40 the pot is still 200ish with 140 behind.

I've still got plenty of free time so I'd like to help review the course material. It would probably do me good anyway.

Hero?

There are definitely some sets/straights possible and maybe Axs, but i'd also expect a large amount of whiffed draws here.

Looking at this hand maybe a raise on the turn might have been OK
