The problem with freerolls is when you start to win. Because you spend hours and hours to earn pennies.
I also agree with justadedapa that it is a good option when it's hard to get cash into your account

I think there are pros and cons..who can't pay in order to win back anyone is very normal and enough of the hops involved in the game I would take and that's the only bit annoying I find.

I think it used to be worth it years ago. But now that there's 500+ players playing for as little as $25, I think it's a pure waste of time.
Usually I only play the private freerolls now. But even those have become marathons for $2-$3 in the end. What fun is that?

Freerolls are definitely worth it. I had that same mentality but now I am back into freerolls and posting more on the forum now. Freerolls mentality should be play a little bit more LAGY and try to stack up quick IMO

I find most freerolls are pretty quick nowadays, and not hours like they used to be. The 888 daily 200s and pokerclub freerolls are anyway.
They're great as a side trny as well. I've been playing almost only freerolls lately, and will keep doing that until I get back to where I was over a year ago lol

What I usually do is try to act like each one of this personans playing freerolls. Actually i've seen that I'm more like the small ball guy...


But sadly i don't stand a chance against loose callers which will call you until after the river

I believe you really have to be at least good to have an opportunity to go deep in a freeroll nowadays . I think now players are better than in the past , more aggressive , but not in a crazy way , most of them know what they do . you might be able , in a non CC freeroll , to win four five stacks , sth more , very soon you'll have to face good freerollers or good players who ply at the same time with their normal buyin games , the freerolls .
So , either you are at least good , ofcourse very good , or very very good or reg or very good reg is far better , no discussion , or you lose your time , only able to win pennies , literally , cents

I think in the past it was better , more very loose or even stupid plays , giving me the chance to go sometimes deep . Noadays I struggle big time
