Your favorite football player? Who and why?

I am a Patriot's fan and my favorite player is Tom Brady even though he left my team. I still route for him no matter he will go and play. He was a great player and had lots of fans that won't forget what he did for the Pats.

Is this a trick question? Just kidding. I noticed that some responses named soccer players but when I hear football, I think American football. My most favorite player all-time is probably Peyton Manning. The reason being is that when he signed a $100 million contract as a rookie, a reporter asked him what he planned to do with it and he responded "earn it." That is legendary to me and shows that he is a man of high moral character. I respect that and it a rarity in these days and times. Then he went on to do just that over the course of his career in Indianapolis.

My most favorite active player is probably Aaron Rogers. Not only is he a beast on the field and able to accomplish great things for a franchise that is synonymous for greatness with very little around him but I just love his swag. Confidence is incredibly important and when it's justified, you just have to love it.

Thumbs up for Peyton and Aaron but my vote goes for Tom Brady. Unbelievable that he is still so good at his age!

I have no constant favourite player, all periods have a lot of stars, phenomenon. Nowadays Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Ibrahimovic, but previously Kaká, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Maldini etc. All of them are legends. They made countless unforgettable moments and the most important: they do/did everything for the victory.

I’m from Indiana so I’m partial to Peyton Manning. I think Peyton was a pretty stand up guy from all the charity work he did and still does in Indianapolis. He seemed to live a fairly normal life also. Not too flashy. Also some of the stories that I’ve heard about Peyton and some of the mind games he would play with opposing team players at the NFL pro bowl make him seem like my kind of guy. Also a quick note on my 2nd place individual I would pick Phillip Rivers. Anyone that stays married to his high school sweetheart and has that big a family and oh yea does NOT swear at all!!! Has to be a great guy!!! Just saying.
