it's impossible to compare players from different eras is the correct answer.
This statement is true, but there are individuals who are born once in a hundred years or once in five hundred years and they are not for comparison. They are unique.

Michael Jordan and is not even close.

People saying Lebron make me wanna vomit. Larry Bird and Kobe Bryant were better than Lebron IMO.

It would be interesting to discuss who is the best sportsman of all time. We did not easily agree on this issue.

Kobe couldn't carry LB's jock.

I don't have as strong an opinion on this as many others I suspect. I'm perfectly happy to put Jordan at #1, I think he has the best case. However...

1. Michael Jordan 2. The leader in transfers is Earvin Johnson 3. Karim Adbul-Jabbar 4. The best defender – Bill Russell 5. Cobi Bryant 6. Wilt Chemberleyn 7. The best not the Afro-American – Larry Bird 8. Unique Oscar Robinson 9. Shaquille O'Neill 10. Legendary the fourth – Tim Duncan

...I'm not sure how you can do a top 10 and not have LeBron anywhere in it. That just seems objectively wrong.

My favorite players of all time are Dr. J and Pistol Pete Maravich, but i have to agree that the GOAT is MJ. Not Michael Jackson or Magic Johnson, but the one and only Michael Jordan.

The best player he has seen is no more, that the Lord, King Lebron James defends, attacks and assists, super complete.

MJ, Kobe and Lebron.

Not sure what order they should go in but those three are the top.

If I had to pick one it would be Jordan.

Jordan was the best in terms of results but I am starting to waver in the historical debate. I think if Lebron and Jordan went head to head in either generation Lebron would have been able to stop Jordan on at least one occasion.

Bill Russell is the greatest player to ever lace up sneakers. He revolutionized the way the game was played on offense and defense. Big men leading the fast break, defense used to create offense, unselfish superstar creating for all his teammates. 11 rings, another 2 as coach. The greatest Player of all time.
