So guys, what role do you see Bruno having? Small NBA minutes? Or another year of the d-league. Can we even squeeze minutes in for him with our current line up.
Another year of D-League play probably. He started to look more comfortable towards the end of the year. We have too many wing players right now anyways better than him in DD, TRoss, Carroll, Powell.
Let him build up some more confidence before coming up full-time. He started to look a bit like the Greek Freak at the end of the season which is great.
lol I don't think TOR/GSW would have been better. TOR was clearly inferior to CLE and I'm not even convinced CLE>GSW tbh. I think if they play 100 times, GSW probably wins 51 or more. They are probably a better team, but in a 7 game series, LBJ can turn on beast mode and that's the difference.
TOR needs to get a star if they truly want to become a title team. I don't forsee Lowry being the best team on an NBA championship team. Need another piece it seems.
Since many of you guys are in Canada and I am traveling to Vancouver to take a Cruise to Hubbard Glacier I will like to know if they have Poker Tables in the Cruise or in Vancouver on the back. Thanks
Yeah KLove probably getting moved, agreed
TOR should have picked someone w/more upside imo. Why not take a gamble since they can withstand it? It's not like Poeltl is going to be the guy who pushes them over the top of CLE. They have plenty of solid, role player NBA types, but they really needed another impact player. Obviously, hard to get in the draft outside the top 3 or so, but still, they should have gambled w/someone imo.
Biz being gone is a pretty huge loss when defence was supposedly the teams identity although he wasnt worth what he got
Yeah agreed hes replaceable heres hoping that this young team grows plenty as a group with many eastern conference teams adding quite abit and the raps adding young draft pick players only is concerning but hopefully it all works out .I think what the Raptors saw in Biyombo is that they need to have players that have a long wingspan who can guard bigs as well as smaller, quick guys. The OKC Thunder had a lineup full of those guys and should have beat the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals. Steph Curry had trouble against the Thunder defense.
While losing Biyombo, the personality and the charisma that he brings to the court is a big loss for the Raptors, the skillsets that he brings to the court are replaceable. They will move on and work on doing that.
Hopefully next season, the Raptors can do even better than they did this past season. It was a fun season to watch though.
