That was bad against the New York Mets. We lost all 3 games . One would have been much better. Then Atlanta came to town for four games. Crazy, we managed to win 3 out of four.
Go figure. Off Monday, then on to Detroit for 3 games with the Tigers.

That was a pleasent streach for Washington. We won 3 games in a row from Atlanta, then
went to Detroit and won the first 2 games there to make it to 5 wins in a row. First time since
2021 I think. Today we lost our final game 7-2 in Detroit. That was a great run. Now back home for
3 games with the Marlins.

Great series for the Nats. We won all three games from Miami, 8-1, 4-0 and 3-1. That makes us
winning 8 of the last 9 games. Young had his first major league home run, nice fathers day present.
Off tomorrow, then the Arizona Diamondbacks come to town for 3 games.

Arizona is leaving Washington with 2 wins out of the 3 game series. The Diamondbacks won the
first game 5-0. The Nationals managed to win the second game yesterday 3-1 but today the
D-backs knocked off the Nats 5-2. No off day tomorrow, Washington starts a 3 game series
with the Rockies in Colorado.

The trip out west was not great. In Colorado. things started out okay with the Nats winning
2 out of 3 games. San Diego did not go as well. The Padres won all 3 games, 7-6,9-7 and 8-5.
Thats a 2 win 4 loss start to 9 game road trip. Got to do better. Next Tampa Bay in Tampa for 3 games.

Over the last 3 games in Tampa, the Nationals managed to only win 1 of the games. We lost 3-1
in the first game, won the second game 8-1, and lost the third game 5-0. Once again we win 1
and lose 2. We have to do better. Big news for the Nats coming tomorrow. Stay tuned. The Mets
will be in Washington for 4 games.

Yesterday was Washingtons first of 4 games with the Mets. The game was special because 21 year
old James Wood made his first major league start for Washington. James is the number 3 prospect in baseballs major league farm system. We comes to us from the Juan Soto trade a few years ago with the San Diego Padres, James had one hit in his first game and we lost in extra innings 9-7.
Hope he is in Washington for the next 20 years.

The series with the Mets turned out okay after a rough start. The Nationals lost the first 2 games
of the 4 game series, tenth inning loss both times, 9-7 and 7-2. Last night, the Nats won 7-5
and today in an early game the Nats held on to win 1-0. Jake Irvin pitched a real gem, only giving
up one hit to the Mets. Jesse Winker got a solo homer in the eighth inning for the games only run.
The Nats new left fielder, James Wood, got off to a good start over the 4 games. James is hitting .308 and I think he had 4 walks also. Four games with the Cardinals next.

The St. Louis Cardinals beat the Washington Nationals 3 out of 4 games. Would have been nice
to win at least 2. We are going the wrong way in our quest for a wild card spot. A nice 5 game
winning streak sure would be welcome. Now to New York for 3 games with the Mets.

Turn Washington over, they are done. We just lost all 3 games to the New York Mets. That
makes us 3-7 for the last 10 games. Thats pretty sad. When we get good pitching we get no
hitting. When we get good hitting, no pitching. We need to put both together. 3 games with the Brewers next.

The trip to Milwaukee was better. Washington managed to beat the Brewers 2 of the 3 games.
We are still way below .500 going into the all star break. The all star game will be tomorrow
in Arlington Texas. Washington's representative is CJ Abrams. MLB games will resume on
Friday July 19th.

That was a great series for Washington. We beat the Cincinnati Reds 3 games in a row, coming
from behind all 3 games. We won the first game 8-5, second game 5-4 and today, the game was
tied 2 to 2 in the eighth inning when James Wood hit a three run homer and we won 5-3
after Finnigan came in and closed the Reds down in the 9th.

Ouch, the Padres beat the up the Nationals, 4-0, 12-3 and the last game was a 3-0 gem of a game for the Padres with no hits for Washington. You dont see too many no hitters. Tonight Washington starts a 3 game series in St. Louis with the Cardinals.
We need to start a run and get back in the hunt.

The nats has young team who can progress well......i think couple of good trade or sign good player on agency but maybe 3 or 4 years and the nats could become in the competition......the only problem, with braves, phillies and mets they have hard division.......lot of work to do but not impossible to go back on top

Yes, they are young but looking pretty good at times. Next year they may surprise a lot of people. Wood is looking really
good and shows alot of poise for such a young player. We lost a few players at the trade deadline but hopefully with the
young players we got we will find a few gems.I was sorry to see Lane Thomas leave.

In our most recent series, we beat the Cardinals 2 games out of 3. In Arizona now.

Arizona beat us all 3 games. Bad end to the road trip. Now we are off Thusday and home for a 9 game home stand, I hope
we can go 5-4 at least.

Much better series for Washington. We won 2 out of 3 from the Milwaukee Brewers . Lost the first game 8-3
then won 6-4 and 4-3. James wood hit a bases loaded triple for 3 runs and Kyle Finnigan had his 49th save.
Tomorrow , the Giants come in for 3 games.

The Giants series was for 4 games. San Francisco won 2 of the first 3 games and the 4th game was today. The last game had
rain delays for about 2 and a 1/2 hours. Tied in the eighth inning and the Giants went up 5-2. in the 9th. Washington tied the game 5-5. In extra inningst the Nats lost 9-5. Ouch

The LA Angles were in town for 3 games this past weekend. The first two games were tied
after 9 innings so we went to extra innings. Washington won the first game 3-2 in the 10th
inning and then won the second game 5-4 in the 10th. Alas, we then lost the last game 6-4.
Won the series. Today we are in Baltimore for 2 games with the Orioles.

Washington and Baltimore split the 2 game series with a win each. The Nats
won the first game 9-3 and Baltimore won the second game 4-1. Now, Washington
goes to Philiadelphia for 4 game series with the Phillies.

That was a rough trip to Philly. We had a 4 game series with the Phillies. Washington
only managed to win the last game 6-4. James Wood had a monster home. Off day today, then a 6 game home stand starting with 3 games with Atlanta.

Better series with the Rockies. After losing the first game 3-1, Washington won
game 2, 6-1 and today we won the 3rd game 8-3. Taking a 3 game series is always good. Tomorrow, we are in Atlanta for a 3 game series with the Braves.

The Nats lost two of the three games to Atlanta. 3-2, 4-2 and then won 5-1.
Washington then came home for a 3 game series with the New York Yankees.
New York won the first game 5-2. The Nats # 1 pick in the 2024 draft, Dillion
Crews made his MLB debut and went 0-4 batting. Second game, Nat's won
4-2 and Crews was 2-4 hitting. Last night we won 5-2 and Crews had his first
home run. Great series for the Nats and Crews. Off today.

Yes, for the Nationals, the season is unfortunately over. Washington is my favorite underdog in the League. I bet a lot on MLB (second season now) and bets on Washington were in the context of totals. Most of those predictions have been successful. But I can say with confidence that Washington Nationals are playing much better this season than last season, and I think that to compete for (- 7 wins) and somewhere for 11th place at the end of the season is quite realistic.
