It sucks about the US Men's snowboarding halfpipe & I really thought the US Women's hockey team would own every team this year.
On a good note, the US scored their 1st ever luge medal! Erin Hamlin pulled it off finally for the US Women's team & managed to grab the Bronze.
Also, in the 1st ever Women's freestyle skiing slopestyle event, Devin Logan scored herself a Silver medal for the US!
Now, I can't wait for tonight to watch the Women's downhill skiing event, the Men's 1000m speed skating event, & the Men's US hockey team play tomorrow. The DVR is set :icon_thum

We got humiliated today against US in hockey 7:1 looks terrible, yea US were better, no doubt about it, but result is too cruel for us. Something like 4:2 would reflect better what was happening on ice, but thats sport, thats hockey

This was badass exciting to watch!

Skeleton is badass! I actually like it better than luge or bobsled.
Congrats to your UK Yarnold, she owned it! Too bad the U.S. girls didn't win both gold & silver. They both have the talent. As does Russia's Nikitina. If all 4 of those girls compete in the future, that will be some amazing talent & uber exciting action going on!

They showed potential already in game against Russia. But I have to say, we made them look even better.
Awful play by our team, same as it is the historical win for Slovenia, same it is historical loose for us. So painful. Really I dont remember when we played worse like this. We still have 12 same players in team as in Vancouver where we were fourth (won against Russia or Sweden), but it looks like we are the worst team on olympics now. Well we are not on paper, but somehow they just play awful.

Congratulations USA for big win.
Great match , great game.
Russian players under preasure but they got advantage on the home venue. They played very good but too much missed shoots. Russians had very big problems in defence , but very strong while attacking.
USA defence made thier job well and goal in PP for 1:1 , and PP goal for lead 2:1 .

Btw, I hate the fact that US ranks countries based on total number of medals instead of ranking it by Gold first, followed by silver if number of golds are tied, and then number of bronze if number of gold and silver are tied. US medal ranking system is flawed.
