Matthew's has 54 goals, he definitely can make a new record for most goals as a Leaf. That's been a very long time since a Leaf player scored 50 plus, what a way to do it get a hat trick to tie that old Leaf player. I think they actually may make it far in the playoffs, as long as the Rocket Richard winner keeps on getting goals. Go Leafs Go

I mean, he’s a great leader in the league of Colorado, but that’s not a good message for the playoffs for them.
Anyway, the playoffs are coming slowly and everything turns out.

I hope the decision to rest Matthew's until playoffs, I think would be the best thing for the Leafs. This way he is healthy to come out hard in the playoffs, when we will need him the most. Give his wrist time to heal properly, so he can shoot those great wrist shots for the playoffs. We gotta pass first round of the playoffs, this season and hopefully line one can produce this playoffs. Go Leafs Go
