Jokes aside, that's a pretty awful looking main card. I'm a little bit interested to see how Struve is travelling now that he's with a new camp, but it's a creaky old nostalgia-fest otherwise...

Really? I freely admit, I have NFI what the TUF brazil matches are gonna look like, but the rest of the card? Gadelha-Aguilar looks promising but the rest of the card is pretty much all has-beens and dodgy gas tanks.

A lot of old names on the card but they should be good fights. Gotta put the old Brazilians into the card but being in Brazil the crowd should be really into the entire night. It should make for a great atmosphere especially when Rousey destroys Carrea

I think the chances she loses by freak injury are greater than the chances she gets handed a legit loss by Correia.

If you decide you're gonna do this though, consider waiting right up to fight time. There's not really much lower the price on Rousey can go, and the price on faves sometimes comes UP close to fight time as people start hammering bets on the underdogs.

Wow. It couldn`t have been any worse for Bethe. It would`ve been OK for her if Ronda submitted her, but taking a beating like that just shows that she can fight 1000 times against Ronda and she will not last the first minute in any fight.

For my money, I don't see any real path to victory for OSP in the main event.

Phil Davis succeeded by wrestlef&*king Glover. OSP doesn't have that skill set. Jon Jones succeeded by being Jon Jones. OSP doesn't have that skill set either. What he does have is that "creative striking", whatever that is, but he doesn't really throw with high enough volume to win a decision. Plus his takedown defense is dodgy, and his striking defense isn't that great either.

I wouldn't pick Glover against any of the other top fighters in the division - not Cormier, Gus, Johnson, Evans... hell, I might even take Bader at even money against him in a rematch. But I think he gets the job done against OSP the vast majority of the time, either by stoppage or by boring decision.

I mean she's beaten McMann now, an Olympian who was Rousey's toughest test in years, and she throws "bombs", plus she's clearly a wizard on the ground - doesn't the universal law of MMA storylines demand that she gets an immediate title shot based on that?

I was so close to betting on Glover. I lost heart and didn't bet at all.

Glover losing a decision to Phil Davis made me lose hope in him.

Yeah I feel like Michael Johnson got cheated. Not by the judges, but by the fact that the other dude ran for 3 rounds *facepalm*

Literally the whole fight was the guy pedaling backwards while throwing jabs. Michael Johnson was the aggressor.

I 100% agree that McGregor has come obvious holes in his game, and he certainly didn't look impressive off his back. But saying he's "all hype" at this point is just as silly as saying that he's the greatest fighter of all time. He has some very real, very dangerous skills.

I 100% agree. I was a McGregor non-believer before the Mendes fight. McGregor has a lot of work to do, especially on the ground and in his takedown defense... but he excels in stamina, keeping his cool, and his kicks are deadly. Very good stand up!

Surely the Arlovski fight isn't getting top billing over Mighty Mouse? 2 top ten heavyweights should not be a bigger draw than Champ vs #1 imo. People too easily dismiss "little" fighters. Johnson and Dodson should be the best fight on that card. Can't believe that wouldn't be the main event.
