Holm v Reneau has me torn - I'm almost convinced I should be putting down a bet on Reneau at $2.60ish.
Reneau's striking stats are massively inflated by that awful match with Dufresne, but even so, she looked very good on the feet. More to the point she's very active and aggressive on the feet, and she's not giving up much in reach to Holm.
Anyone else think she stands a real chance of stealing a decision from Holm?

So take this with a grain of salt (since it's coming from his own camp) but apparently McGregor had a knee injury in the leadup to the fight that meant he couldn't do any proper wrestling training...

I don't think for a second this would have stopped Mendes from getting him down when he wanted to, but still interesting.

Aldo is a great fighter but he pulled out of the fight just because Conor got in his head. When someone is constantly telling you that he is going to knock the crap out of you it gets to Aldo. I don't think he has faced someone coming up the ladder like Conor has been.

Yeah I still seeing Mendes manhandling Conor on the ground especially if he had a full camp. Anyways it is what it is. Conor won fair and square in the striking game and put gassed Mendes away.

That fight was soooo badass! I was watching from a bar-n-grill & couldn't even take a drink of my drink cause I was sooo focused on how badass of a fight it was. Blood was everywhere.

I love how Mir went in there & slugged Duffee's face to the mat. After being called out like he was, he sure made a statement to anyone else that might think about doing so.
That KO was epic BTW. I miss seeing him fight. He's so quick on his feet & very precise in his boxing. Not to mention that his ground game is superb.

I was impressed that Mir worked on his standup and slugged it out with Duffee. I didn't think we'd see that. His ground work is top notch, so I figured he'd take him down and submit him. But I guess Mir wanted to prove that he could stand toe to toe with a knockout artist. And he did very well!
I'll also give Conor McGregor credit where credit is due. He was being beat in that fight, and he was calm and collected, worked on the body, and got that body knockout. Well done.

The same McGregor who survived on the ground with the best wrestler in the division, then got up and knocked his ass out?
I 100% agree that McGregor has come obvious holes in his game, and he certainly didn't look impressive off his back. But saying he's "all hype" at this point is just as silly as saying that he's the greatest fighter of all time. He has some very real, very dangerous skills.
I mean it's not like being an outstanding striker with only so-so wrestling and takedown defense stopped us from calling Anderson Silva the greatest of all time - and he spent the best part of five rounds under Chael Sonnen...

Anderson was injured in that fight and Chael was roided up.
"So-so wrestling and takedown defense"? U got to be kidding. In his prime, Anderson could beat anyone with ease.

I'm picking Dillashaw to retain the belt in exactly the same fashion he won it off Barao. Also picking Eye to upset Tate, think she's a much better striker and will take a decision a decent amount of the time as long as she can keep the fight off the canvas.
I'm betting Dillashaw-Barao over 4.5 rounds and Eye SU for half a unit each.
