Looking forward to Saturday’s card, obviously the main event but the rest of the card is solid too. Sean O’Malley is an exciting fighter, his fight should be one of the best prelims. Hopefully Ferguson will actually make it to fight day, I’m not holding my breath. Derrick Lewis and Alexander Volkov is a great heavyweight match up.

I didn’t know that, just googled it and apparently it’s because of a possible doping violation.
Yeah it’s very ironic they are on the same card but at the same time makes sense for the next Lightweight title fight from a scheduling stand point.

... and they can't go wrong. If either Conor or Khabib can't fight for whatever reason, Ferguson can step up and fight in the main event.

As for Jones, if his last few fights are anything to go by then surely what we actually want is the Jon Jones that's on steroids and doing coke by the facefull during fight week. That guy had fun fights. Clean Jones not so much...

Anyone making any bets? I'm thinking Conor KO's/TKO's Khabib in first or Khabib chokes out Conor in third or fourth. I don't see it going the distance because of Conors cardio.

Surprised no one is talking about the fight after the fight. That was a wild way to end the UFC 229 card.

The fight went pretty much the way I anticipated. While I was alright with Khabib winning the whole circus after the fight left a bad taste in my mouth.

That was definitely one of the more disgusting things I have seen in MMA and very bad sportsmanship. The fight was over and Khabib humiliated Conor. Conor took it on the chin and everyone else should respect that and leave it there.

At first I thought that the whole Khabib Russian team were doing the Russian thing I have seen them do in real life, but after seeing some other videos it seems that Danis "Conor wannabe" started the shitstorm and then Conor hit one of the Khabib teammates first before he got hit back. Seems like no one was innocent there.

Floyd will be fighting on the Rizin New Years Eve card. This is big news considering he did a deal with UFC / Conor and Dana / UFC for boxing but decided to turn to Rizin and fight on their show instead of UFC.

I haven’t checked the line for fight night Saturday but if it looks good I might put some money on the Korean Zombie and Mike Perry.

Three days after making an appearance at a press conference to announce a New Year’s Eve fight in Japan, Mayweather on Wednesday issued a lengthy Instagram post, claiming he “never agreed to an official bout with Tenshin Nasukawa” and hadn’t heard of the 20-year-old kickboxing sensation before Sunday.
According to Mayweather, a different plan for a private exhibition in front of a “small group of wealthy spectators” was in place – until the press conference, which Mayweather said was “misleading” in announcing the Nasukawa fight as an official bout.


“Once I arrived to the press conference, my team and I were completely derailed by the new direction this event was going and we should have put a stop to it immediately,” Mayweather wrote on Instagram. “I want to sincerely apologize to my fans for the very misleading information that was announced during this press conference and I can assure you that I too was completely blindsided by the arrangements that were being made without my consent nor approval.”
Mayweather said he only went along with what was being presented during the press conference to not create a disturbance. He apologized to his fans for not putting a stop to it.

I took Randamie, Dariush & Cerrone. After the fights & went & checked over my bets again & realized I had bet on Randamie Twice, lol.
Also did a big parlay that had picked all winners for except Pena (what a bum! ... gimmee a break with the head-shaking after buddy hits him... stop shaking your head & counter you bum, lol).
Also had bet on Chas Skelly & had him in another parlay. Wasn't too impressed with that stoppage (although he probably woulld've gone out had they held off a bit longer on stopping the fight).

Was great to see Cowboy win tonight!!!

The main event may be fight of the year, definitely in contention for knockout of the year.

The Korean Zombie and Yair Rodriguez went toe to toe for 5 brutal rounds.Rodriguez was behind on the judge's scorecards but scored an odd angle elbow KO with 1 second left....knocked the zombie out cold

Nice job on the picks, too bad about "The violent Bob Ross" (lol- possibly the best name) I liked him and I liked him on TUF but yeah that shaking the head's gotta go....was surprised it was a split decision.

Cowboy says he's back....love him as well.
