Wow what a KO by Gathje. I was going to place a bet on him when I seen he was a small underdog while placing bets on other fights but decided to wait till the last minute to see if I could get a little better odds. I forgot to place the bet and to make it worse all my other bets lost. At least it was a great night of fights.

Looks like Saturday will be another great night of fights. Looking forward to see Zabit fight again as well as Shevchenko. Woodley vs Till should be an exciting fight. Probably will be placing a bet on Till depending on what the odds are like later in the week, they both opened @ -110. I also might bet a parlay if most to the money is coming in on Till.

I think DC will beat Brock easily. Won't take more than 2 rounds, 1 round if Brock is off juice. Why would the fight go any different than Brock vs Cain? I just hope that DC retires after this cash grab, because my heart won't be able to handle Jon Jones coming up at hw and beating DC for the third time.

I agree but Brock was very unhealthy due to his disease in the Cain match. I wouldn't count Brock out due to his size / strength and talents.

I wouldn’t count Brock out either. With him being healthy along with his size and speed it’s a dangerous matchup for DC who is not the biggest HW. Depending what the odds are like I might throw a bet on Brock.

Size matters only if they are about on the same level skillswise and it's also style dependent. DC has been the smallest heavyweight his whole career, but that hasn't stopped him crushing everyone in that division.
Brock only have puncher's chance, but since DC has only been rocked once then I wouldn't bet on it.
I would rather see Brock vs Overeem rematch. Both have changed up their style quite a bit and Overeem seems to be off hardcore steroids. Given his bad chin I wouldn't be surprised if Brock could KO him.

UFC 229 up next! Anyone picking Conor in this one? If I was forced to pick I would go with Khabib because I mostly tend to go with wrestlers when it's very good wrestler vs striker matchup unless the wrestler has been proven to be very hittable and don't have a good chin.
I thought that Alvarez will grind out a decision victory against Conor or submit him in later rounds because Chad Mendes was able to take down Conor at will with no training camp. I couldn't be more wrong in that one. It was like amatuer vs professional.
Maybe Conor has really improved his wrestling defence, but Khabib is probably one of the best mma grapplers of all time so I will be very impressed if Conor will able to win this fight.

Khabib is involved with some unpleasant controversies in Russia lately. It's a long story, but basically he is a hardcore muslim and he talked against "modern values" of Dagestan, partially against music and songs. It makes me to root against him, even though I don't like Conor too.

I'm a big fan of Rory and I think the fight against Gegard will be very competitive and interesting to watch. It will probably go to distance and Gegard probably has a slight edge due to size and power.
All top 4 fights are awesome and I think without a doubt this is the best non UFC card put together in post-Strikeforce era.

Jones is reportedly going to fight Gustaffson for the second time on UFC 232
Hope he can stop using those steorids and PEDs.
They had a beef on instagram/twitter with DC about roids and USADA
They wanted to book a fight with DC in HW devision, then in LHW devision and when that failed, they are now trying to book the one with Gustaffson at LHW. And that one would be for the title.
Whatever fight they book, it shoud be awesome.
