Ended up not picking Ngannou or Chiesa tonight (luckily)... didn't like the odds.

Put another bet on DC tonight as the odds were even better than when I'd placed a bet on him a few weeks ago ( @ 2.75 for him tonight & @ 2.0 previously).

In yesterday's fights I had Katona & Adesanya (both pretty safe bets).

And last fight I chose tonight was Mike Perry @ 2.30

Pretty unusual for me as I usually do the sh1ts on the UFC fights (with the occasional luckboxing)

I'm not so sure Ngannou can even take Negreanu now :( That fight was dismal. Who will want to pay to see that guy fight next?

You've got a point with that last bit - though I'm sure everyone will forget if they put him back in with a can and he sparks them in the first round again.

Truth is pretty much all HW fights that get out of the first round are snooze-fests, and this Ngannou-Lewis was a bad style matchup in terms of fan enjoyment, just like the Woodley-Wonderboy fights.

I was quite surprised with this fight, and of course not in a good way. Honestly, it looked like he got paid to lose. He did everything he could to lose that fight.

I think it's just what happens when you take a counterpuncher who doesn't have a plan B, and don't give him very much to counter.

Anderson Silva had some similarly gawd-awful fights when is opponents didn't oblige him by leading with their faces. And Silva was much more experienced than Ngannou currently is.

That plus, y'know, heavyweight just kinda sucks.

(Knock-out / knock-down) and this entry no. Recording of course put it mildly is not the best quality ... Given the long history of these two men, Cody once again demonstrates the true personality TJ, and the latter exhibits a victim allegedly unjustified attacks)

Guide UFC announced a return to the Organization of Ukrainian fighter Nikita Krylov. As expected, Krylov will perform on the show in Moscow, 15 September. The rival Nikita will be the Pole Jan Blagovich. Recall that Nikita left the UFC in 2017, and since then has held four fights in all to win.

it is also officially named Adam Yandiev opponent on the same show in Moscow. Yandiev meet with Krzysztof Yotko.

Cejudo looked like a new man ever since his fight with Reis. He has really good form and technique now. I think he will have a rematch with DJ and it will be another close fight again. I think TJ should fight a rematch with Cruz. If Cruz loses again he would probably retire.

Or maybe not :O

I bet against Mighty Mouse tonight. Not sure why but am sure glad I did lol.
I was going to do the same and then when I was placing my bets I decided not to and put a bigger bet on Cub Swanson. I really wish I didn’t change my mind.

I watch dj on twitch sometimes, likeable guy. Kinda sad to see him lose, but as the guy above said, everyone loses at some point. He streated tonight and was really respectful about it all.

On the other side of that type of personality, I expect the conner hype machine to get in full gear soon.

How does TJ keep passing his drug tests?!?! He'll be wearing an "A" cup soon - currently it looks like a "AA".

Loved the TJ vs Cody fight.

Now, the Johnson vs Cejudo fight, I don't understand how can judges make such a bad mistake as to give Cejudo that fight. Really a bad job, he did nothing significant to win that fight. Johnson outsroke him and fought way better and dominated the standing fight easily and the only thing Cejudo did was take him down for a bit and hold him, no damage done, no submission game, nothing. If I would have been a judge in that fight I would have given the first 3 rounds to Johnson and if, by some strange reason I had given rounds 2 and 4 to Cejudo (and the first 10-9 to Jonhson, because that first round could have been scored 10-8), I would have never given that 5th round to Cejudo.

Such a great champion like Demetrious Johnson can't lose the belt like that, with a timid Cejudo on the ground just holding him down because he was scared to do anything in fear Johnson might get off the floor, and just for a short period of time in rounds 2 and 4, where Johnson was winning up until that point, especially round 2.

And on top of that, all of this nonsense about a fight against TJ for the 135 lb belt. There should be no other fight than Johnson vs Cejudo 3 next.

Kabib will be tested. If he wins convincingly, then he will be recognized as one of the greatest in MMA. But mystic mac is a rare specie, he will have his hands full.
I still think, conor can get a knockout win if kabib becomes careless.

I fight on tomorrow's co-main event versus Fili...I get knocked out sometimes and look silly going down. :) Seriously I love Gathje in the main event. James Krause is a KC guy that trains with a friend of mine who was amateur champ, went pro, got submitted in 20 seconds and hasn't fought since. I normally record them as my wife works Sunday's. Should be a good card tomorrow night
