I'm thinkin I'll wait until PS figures out what to do with the FPPs. Could only be another couple bucks but might be worth holding off. Dakota- I imagine you had a ton of points- you just kissing them goodbye?

I had posted the same thing. For me my FPPs are 1/8 of what i have in the BR so it seems worth it to get that converted to cash if possible. I don't see the rush. According to the email from PS it seems okay to wait. The only thing that might change is if the government decided that they were no longer go to allow these but I think we would have notice on that.

What a tangled web.

Got my BR off PS

My bankroll from poker stars (small as it is) arrived today at my bank via direct deposit.

So anyone who is waiting, keep the faith seems like the money IS arriving.

Now if only FT would get their act together.

Now I need to get my son-in-law to request his payout. My 2nd daughter had zero in her pokerstars account but 11,000 play chips. My son-in-law, has almost $10, but that could fill up the gas tank, er, maybe not these days. :D

Received my paper check today, and it makes me sad.:(

Not that I received it, but that I will never see Stars again. Never a chance at a truly big online win.:(

I do trust PokerStars more than I trust my government. Is that sad or what?:(

Party Time

Got my paper check today. Only took about 10 days. I am really surprised.

Checked my VIP points for store purchase. I have enough points to get an authentic PokerStars window decal.

received my pokerstars check via canadian airmail. Now if Tilt would come to the plate and pay like they said they would. I would be happier in the republic of America.

Make sure you guys go back and cash out any available FPPs you have. You can not buy any items in the store. They are not giving the most generous payouts 1.1cents v 1.6cents. But it is way better than nothing, or if you have money currently on FTP or UB.

They also are bumping people up a level if they were close to a VIP Stellar Reward. Otherwise, 2500 FPPs is minimum for $25 in cash. If you have less than that it is worthless atm.

I had less than 50K points but it was worth $500. Good enough for me.

Yea - I didn't have that many since I played in the Turbo Takedown as often as I could. However I did have 2510 - so got my $25!

The only way to cash out less than a hundred is bank transfer?
I didn't play much on Stars and kept a small roll, just wanted a check. :(
Not sure why you wouldn't want a bank transfer? It's faster and goes directly into your account. Super easy. I cashed out my meager funds the day it was available, and had them in my account about 3 or 4 days later. :( The finality makes me sad.

I just got my $13.20 from PokerStars in my bank account now via eCheck... less than 24 hours after I first requested the small withdraw.

im nobody but i dont think it will be too awful long b4 we all are playing at stars and tilt again LEGALLY....again i am nobody but its just my opinion....theres way too much money for the government to get a piece of and i think them shutting down the sites was just their way of figuring out just how much money they can make from legalizing and regulating online poker

That sucks that you can't buy any store items. So, my 1485 points are worthless? I wanted a hat at least.

You are somebody, but give us another reason to think this through.

I would rather play Stars or Tilt that any other site I know of. Mostly because the ergonomic interface at both was the best. Cereus had a fine software as well. All others pale in comparison.

But now that these Companies have been indicted, they have a serious stain on their reputation from a legal standpoint, and come time for a license, they will have serious problems. Their only way out will be to be exonerated and that will only happen after a very very lengthy legal process OR Congressional action. Neither will happen fast.

For historical comparisons, perhaps some European players can tell us what happened with party poker, once the King of the Hill, they suffered a serious financial downturn when they suffered the first attack by the DoJ 5 years ago. They still exist, and may be doing great. For the most part we Americannots don't know.
