Sigh...I'm sad too but looks like it will take a little bit longer for me to feel the impact full force. The following is what I just wrote to the payment processor:

Dear payment services,

Like everyone else, I received the cashout out notice. However, $445 remains in my pending cashouts and only $4.43 shows as the amount I may cash out. I would prefer to withdraw the entire amount. I was unable to cancel the pending amount. Please advise.

Update:

I received this note in reply... a day later but given how swamped they must be I was very impressed:

We thank you for contacting PokerStars and bringing this to our attention.
We have now made the correct adjustments to your account, and your full balance is now available in your bankroll so that you may make a new cashout request.
If there is anything further we can assist you with please don't hesitate to contact us.
Regards,
Mary
PokerStars Security Team

So I logged in to Stars, withdrew my funds via echeck in less than thirty seconds and now am a member of the very, very sad Stars zero-balance club. 6 years of playing there gone in the blink of an eye...so many memories...

I've got a grand total of $3.40 in my account. It's not worth cashing out. If anyone wants to add it to their account, 1st reply gets it.

Edit: I just checked my VIP points and it says they're worth $10 (stellar rewards value). Does that mean I could cash out for $13.40? If so, anyone know the cash out procedure? I'd still transfer it all to another member, I just don't know the policy to do so.

Nice to see one of the poker rooms make it clear your options.

There is no way for you to give it to anyone (other than Stars). You either cash it out or they keep it. Those are your options.

No - transfers are still not permitted - I wouldn't expect them to ever be.

Call me "a little slow". Anyone wanna enlighten me as to why they won't/shouldn't allow P2P transfers? I would think that it would behoove them to allow transfers to non-US players who may want to keep the money in their accounts to play with, thus lightening the withdrawal load. I guess I'm missing something.

Probably to keep people from creating accounts from a different country (VPN or whatever) and then transferring funds to them. Only thing that makes much sense other than the feds wanting to see who gets what for IRS purposes maybe???

Those guesses are probably about as good as we will come up with. I just know they have made it clear everywhere I have read anything that player to player transfers have been disables for US players and there has been no word anywhere of that ever changing. So I think it is relatively safe to assume that option will not be available for us - ever.

I can not press the cash out button......it there but I just can't push the button...
Emergency!!!

I had the same problem. I just had to choose the last radio button option that let's you do a cashout to my checking account. Then it turned that cashout button on.

Otherwise, the button will not come on if you are asking for a check being mailed and have less than $100.

I only had $19, since I made a cashout 9 months ago. The daughter cashed out her account for $38.

pokerstars is a class outfit. Their PokerSchoolOnline was great. Too bad this whole nonsense had to occur.

I do have to admit to something though. As happy as I am to have that $6k headed to my bank account - I can't describe the sense of loss I felt when I looked at my Pokerstars cashier and saw a zero balance. I was totally not prepared for that feeling to wash over me. It seems so final now - no more Pokerstars in my life. No money there, they won't let me play my tournaments anymore, all makes me very sad. My life has been full of Pokerstars til now.

Sad to close this chapter of my life. :(
This was the exact feeling, I had. I cashed out a lot for me in 2007 almost 1K. I have been playing there since then and that was the last time I had a zero balance. Over 5 years of online poker and now done in a week.

I cashed out, you are right it was sad to see all those zeros.

It will not let us use our points in the store yet though I tried.

The only way to cash out less than a hundred is bank transfer?
I didn't play much on Stars and kept a small roll, just wanted a check. :(

Okay - I got an email saying since I am requesting such a large withdrawal I need to send in my id and a utility bill. They gave me a place to upload them to - but how do I get them on my pc to upload them?

You'll have to either scan them or take a picture and transfer the pic to your computer. I know many people don't have scanners, so the 2nd method will probably be easiest.

Well I have a scanner on my printer and can scan the stuff - but still have no clue once they are scanned how to get them on my pc.

When you scan them, they are saved to your PC. As to where exactly they get saved to, it is going to be different, but it will usually tell you when you go through the scan process.

im pretty sure you can also fax them....drive to a kinkos if u dont have one or know someone close by who does.

also i wanted to add that a good friend of mine told me he just received some type of a free tourney ticket offer or something from pokerstars today....didnt get all the details yet but he only had some pocket change in his acct(less than $3) cause hes never deposited, i just transferred him a bit here and there so he could play some ultra micro MTTs....

anyone else know what hes talking about? cant chat with im at the moment so it will be a bit till i can confirm what exactly hes referring to

RTFM!;) If your printer, with the scanner works with your OS, you have faxing capabilities.

If that is too much, save the image as a JPG. 'Attach' that to your email to Stars.

Withdrawal has reached my checking account, safe and sound. Wish it were enough that they'd required some ID verification.
