I like most now have nothing but zero's showing in the cashier. My bank account is a bit fatter but that doesn't help the loss I feel over losing PS and FT

Cashed out my USA account on Tues night and bank deposit showed up this morning. Say what you want about poker stars but I am extremely pleased since they estimated at least a week on their email to me Tuesday. Another nice thing... no fees charged by Poker Stars or my bank.

I don't know whats going on with my funds, I went through the process of filling out the request and clicked submit, but I never received a confirmation e-mail about it so I e-mailed security@pokerstars.com about it yesterday and have not heard anything about it as of yet.

Since the amount is below a hundred dollars maybe they will just give me the opportunity to donate it, besides it always says due to government regulations you are REQUIRED to withdraw the funds, well, what happens if I decide to leave it there anyways are they going to arrest me, lol?

Aside from the fact that transfer is faster, it is possible that they have to send check from a processor,(I don't know) which could be problematic. In general though, if they say transfer strongly recommended than I would take them at their word given the circumstances.

If your cash out is still pending, I would cancel it and than resubmit it as a transfer.

Got my stars money last night in my bank account. Transfer information clearly says pokerstars.

I'm just speculating, but the theory of a lot of people on 2+2 is that FT didn't do as good a job as Stars at keeping players's funds segregated from operating funds and now with the seizures they are having a hard time getting their hands on the money.

I think FT fully intends to pay back its players but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it.

I am so glad I played at Stars. FT's intentions aren't going to pay peoples rent. There are some people who are really stuck.

I did my cashout - then did my husband's later and he got his money yesterday. Ofc he only had $70 hehe.

They aren't in as much of a hurry to ship my big bucks lol. But I feel pretty confident I will get in soon. I sent them more documents than they even asked for.

Guess it will finance my Vegas trips for a while! Well... I better have some nice live cashes so it last a very long time if I want to keep playing poker.

I hadn't even checked my bank account until reading this thread and just discovered my cashout came through on Friday, which feels so good. :)

Another data point... like many others, I was asked to produce ID documents in order to cash out. I got an email yesterday indicating that my cash out was approved after a review of the documents. Still waiting on the actual transfer.

I remember feeling very relieved that most of my bankroll was at Stars rather than FT when Black Friday went down. I remarked more than once to friends I wasn't at all worried about the money on Stars, I was certain it would come back eventually... I was less sure about FT, but at this point I figure it's pretty likely.

I see that they are suggesting direct deposit as the best payment method but I have never given them my bank account info and I really don;t know if I want to give it now. They already have my address so check by mail seems to be the best option. I am going to wait a few weeks anyway to see if anything happens with the FPPs. Not like I have a lot but I want to do this all at once instead of trying to figure how to get the FPPs later.

Better to just start a new throwaway bank account for this express purpose. Shut it down once you get the money... problem solved.

But still why is this better than waiting for the check by mail?

For one thing its faster. I got my money in my account in 3 days. Its really not that big of a deal to do this.

If getting faster is the only reason to give my bank info over the net I think i will go with check by mail. After the Playstation debacle I think I'd rather be safe than sorry

Thanks for the feedback!
