Wonder if I'll have to send in ID docs for my $86 since I have never deposited or withdrawn from Stars before?

If it goes to a bank account in your name,im guessing it wont be a problem...I saw somewhere that any amount over $4999,will have to send in your state id,and a bill in your name...

My guy Mike just cashed out that exact amount via direct bank transfer, nothing else required. He had never deposited or withdrawn either so you should be good. :)

What happens to the 30k fpp I have? I normally use 13,500 to buy a $215 and 3k fpp to enter the turbo takedowns. However, I haven't played the sunday million in a while so I had 30k fpp built up. That translates to over $430 that I hoped would be automatically added to my balance. They did add $65 in tournament tickets, which I had won a couple scoop tickets and had a step 2 ticket. But what about the fpp?

Can't do anything about fpp's yet:

Hello Joe,

Thank you for contacting pokerstars.

In light of recent developments, PokerStars is no longer offering
real money play to US residents, or residents of US territories.

The PokerStars Cashier is now available for you to cash out the
funds in your real money account balance, which was the number
one priority for PokerStars.

PokerStars is currently working with the US government to achieve
an agreement on what can be done with FPPs. PokerStars would
prefer that players be allowed to use their FPPs in the VIP Store
as normal, however no final decision has been agreed.

Rest assured, should you choose to await any decision prior to
cashing out, your real money balance is completely safe.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

Regards,

Sean

so i cashed out and everything yesterday afternoon....as soon as i did it, i saw all the FPPs i had still sitting there....DOH!

i thought about it, what about going and buying tourney tickets with your FPPs in the VIP store? i know they usually cannot be redeemed in any way shape or form but.....

are USA players allowed to purchase things from the VIP store? as the FPP conversion is a pretty moot point for me(i already cashed out), I'd personally rather spend the last bit of "money" i earned on some nice piece of PokerStars memorabilia...... :(

When I went back to PS after my previous post my $11 tournament ticket was included in my cashier balance - so I guess it just takes a few minutes to update.

Anyway - I was able to get my $6k requested back to my checking account - so very happy!!
Dakota-xx....you've been a great source of information...and a trusted member...so...where do you go from here? Is Carbon Poker our best bet? Glad you got your bankroll back.....

I will probably put $100 on Carbon to play CC private games. But for me there is nowhere to go. None of the sites left for US players have any tournaments that are worth playing imo. I have tried them all and it is a dismal failure.

So it depends on what you want to play. There's some discussion in this thread:

Where to play now for U.S. players?
