Anyone else having problems with the 888 client today? Worked fine yesterday, but today the program closes as soon as it opens.

Provider blocks access . Remove and clean cookies . Download and install again .

Same propblem. Yesterday and today's morning the program worked well, but now doesn't.

My 888 client still doesn't work after uninstalling & reinstalling. The same issue as above of it closing as soon as it loads.

Help with 888 poker client!!! New to CardsChat
Hey,

So I wanted to sign up to Cards Chat and get some advice on an incident that has happened to me at 888poker client.

I was playing regularly at various stakes micro, low, medium and then I took some big losses and decided to personally close my account. My decision to close not 888 clients ok?

So anyway, a couple weeks go by - and of course I wanted to play again so I set up a new account with almost the same name - but before I deposited I spoke with the LIVE CHAT agent to specifically make sure that there would be no cause for concern in regards to the previously closed account associated with me.


And the LIVE CHAT agent - Saadique was his screen name - said YES you can set up the account and everything will be fine.

I of course, wanting to really confirm this wont be an issue rephrased the question to make sure there was no miscommunication and I said "So, I will be able to deposit and withdraw and just to the regular verification ID routine and start playing with no problems?"

The answer was yes. So I go ahead and toil away to deposit some funds.... I verify my ID and then I even get the "quick response verification confirmation" saying im ready to play. Last night I played some PLO 5 heads up for 5 dollar buy in and made some money....


NOW - this morning I wake up to this email.

So what can I do - I responded promptly and its been about 3 hours and still have not yet heard a response.... I had deposited 145 USD into the account! Only because the agent said this exact scenario would NOT OCCUR?

What happens to my funds? What happens to my account?

I won two grand hand scratch tickets on July 20th. Scratched them both and won two $6000 grand hand tournament tickets, but I still have not received the tickets. I went back to the scratch tickets and they say they have both been used already, but I never got my tickets. My username is Joshua_Kane.

I won two grand hand scratch tickets on July 20th. Scratched them both and won two $6000 grand hand tournament tickets, but I still have not received the tickets. I went back to the scratch tickets and they say they have both been used already, but I never got my tickets. My username is Joshua_Kane.

888 blocking me

Apparently I tried to deposit with a credit card which is based in the US although I am in Panama. Now they dont let me deposit or answer any of my inquiries. Should I give up?

wow I am even getting ignored on here. Ok I get it. Dont worry I uninstalled it and will never recommend 888 to anyone ever.

Dear 888 Support agent


Well its been almost 72 hours now and still not a single response. This is my money we are talking about here and from a company whose trading on the London Stock Exchange its very upsetting to see the amount of complaints people are having in regards to this site and its business methods.

Please help me get to the bottom of this - I rely on 888 Poker full time to make an income and its now been 72 hours (3 days). With no response yet when I received these emails to temporaliy close me down it was all done quite promptly and fast.

The US market is regulated with strict rules and the only market we have there at the moment is New Jersey. To be honest I do not think that you will be accepted due to the complications with the credit card but if you ever get to New Jersey then please apply again and there should be no problem.

Parker “888tonkaaaa” Talbot Final Tables Mega Deep for Second Week in a Row

The $215 buy-in Sunday Mega Deep drew 331 players to the virtual felt. They accounted for 164 rebuys, which meant a $100,000 prize pool was distributed amongst the top 48 players including “alexos888” (36th -$570), Robin “Inho” Ylitalo (20th - $970), Ivan “ivanlimeira” Mascarenhas (12th - $1,750), and 888poker Ambassador Parker “888tonkaaaa” Talbot (7th - $2,750), who also finished seventh in the same event one week ago.

After “tikkapekka” bowed out in third place for $10,750, the title came down to Russia’s “matros.ru” and Germany’s “TonyCipolla9.” After 11 hours and 20 minutes in the tournament it was the German who prevailed to capture a $19,250 first-place prize.

You might remember that back on July 13, “TonyCipolla9” finished runner-up in the $10,000 Tornado, good for a smooth $2,000.

Dominik “888Dominik” Nitsche Final Tables Whale
The $1,050 buy-in Whale saw 55 players rebuy 22 times, which meant the $80,000 prize pool would be paid out to the top seven spots. Among those to try for a payday but fall short were Stephen “Kale333” Van Zadelhoff, Martin “MJacobson888” Jacobson, and Niklas “tutten7” Åstedt, just to name a few.

One man who did make the money was 888poker Ambassador Dominik “888Dominik” Nitsche, who finishing in seventh place for $3,600. Likewise, “StuntSoHard” (6th - $4,400), “Streusalz” (5th - $6,000), “josef_shvejk” (4th - $8,000), and “J0hnmccl3an” (3rd - $12,000) all got paid.

After 5 hours and 29 minutes, the Netherlands’ “MisterN411” bested Canada’s “guydeet39” in heads-up play to walk away with the title and $28,000 top prize. Last year, “MisterN411” won both a Super XL Series High Roller title and the $100,000 Baby Whale, good for $90,063 and $19,853 respectively.

Ivan “ivanlimeira” Mascarenhas Wins GREAT 8

The $88 buy-in, $20,000 GTD Sunday GREAT 8 attracted 222 players who rebought 96 times. That created a $25,440 prize pool paid out to the top 32 players including “RedPantRed” (29th - $191), 888poker Ambassador Parker “888tonkaaaa” Talbot (17th - $254), “msksevart” (8th - $700), Richard “ChipsFool” Hoadley (4h - $2,162), and “ChaChoStyle” (3rd - $2,926).

After 7 hours and 48 minutes, it was Brazil’s Ivan “ivanlimeira” Mascarenhas besting Russian XL Inferno champ “SergeyRusko” in heads-up play to win $5,152. Mascarenhas was finally able to break through after two close calls when he finished second in the July 12 $15,000 Mega Deep for $2,822 and third in the same event on June 28 for $2,454.

“SlyderS1” Weathers the Sunday Monsoon

The $55 buy-in, $15K GTD Sunday Monsoon surpassed its guarantee by drawing 240 players who rebought 69 times. That created a $15,450 prize pool paid out to the top 36 players including “Dustyourfish” (26th - $131), “GramNaKartke” (18th - $170), “heroes333” (9th - $294), “IwantKellogS” (5th - $896), and “marcuspoo” (3rd - $1,746).

After 7 hours and 6 minutes, “SlyderS1” defeated Brazil’s “rafitia” in heads-up play to win $3,160. It was the first win for “SlyderS1” since March, which is when he took down the $12,000 Daily Challenge for $2,904. More recently, he finished third in the August 1 $10,000 Monsoon for $1,175.

Uruguay’s Alex“komarolo222” Komaromi Victorious in Sunday Challenge
With 298 players rebuying 94 times, this week’s Sunday Challenge offered up a $40,000 prize pool. Among the 45 players to get a piece of it were “ZDamian” (20th - $300), “alexos888” (14th - $500), “WAFAL” (6th - $1,760), and “Svindyr” (3rd - $4,400).

After 9 hours and 41 minutes, Uruguay’s Alex “komarolo222” Komaromi came out on top against Belarus’ “_Antikk_” giving them $7,740 and $5,800 in prize money respectively.

What to watch out for:

yesterday I redeemed 2 Tickets for the 6.000 Hand of the day tournaments to use them today. The programm stalled, I checked my tickets, there were none, I checked my goldtokens, there were still 70 just as before, so I redeemed two tickets again. Today I opened my client, and guess what? 4 Tickets to the 6.000 hand of the day (value 12 hrs), 30 Gold- Tokens left. The problem is, I can't use these tickets, they run out in 9 hs and there are only two tournaments. I contacted CS via web-page and got an auto-responder:

I submitted a ticket [Incident: 180720-004706] because I am unable to select the "Play Money" option on the main lobby.
I have the same issue with the PC client, the Android mobile app and the web app.
The ticket was first submitted on July 20.
I received 2 answers, between July 23 & 26, suggesting trying different things like uninstalling and reinstalling the client s/w.
On July 26 I advised support that none of the suggestions worked.
I have not had any further communications since then.
I sent a follow up email on August 3, still no response.
It has been more than a month since I submitted the ticket, how long should I expect to wait until this issue is resolved.

Yes, I have no problems with real money.
Thanks for your intervention, I got emails from support within 15 minutes of posting in this forum, promissing some action within 5 business days.
