Todays treasure chest challenge is a bit naughty....
Play 100 hands of snap.....easy peasy on the face of it.......until you realise you are playing hands and not knocking the 100 off very quickly.

Actually you need to have 4 of ther 6 players to VPIP into the hand and it there has to be some post flop betting for the hand to qualify.
A few were catching on and it was becoming a limp fest.....
888 that is just bad, you can report back that I for one am not happy, it actually took me nearly 300 hands played to complete.
Misrepresentation at its best,...

So today's Treasure Quest challenge for me is place $200 in wagers in Live Casino, so I go to Live Casino and this message pops up...

I'm in canada and never had that message come up in regular or Live casino before.
If Canadians are actually excluded, fine, I can live with it, but if it's some kind of glitch and it keeps me from completing these challenges it's kind of irksome.

Thanks.

Yeah in the UK it was to place sports bets in play.

I usually don't do sports betting and I certainly don't do casino.
Why do 888 think poker players like these forms of gambling?

I won't be bothering anymore. You didn't learn your lesson from the last ladder/beanstalk thing.
It's bullshit and in fact it makes me cross enough to piss off back to Pstars for a month.:(

While we completely respect your decision for self exclusion, you need to be aware that some of 888poker major promotion (such as this one), do require sport activity. But you are welcome to continue playing the promotion as you will be able to complete most rows and columns without sport activity.

I'm with Bruce - I always loved this promotion because it was the only time that many people could obtain prizes that weren't only tickets to bingo tournaments.

But the last time this came up - the path of 100 tasks or whatever it was called, half of the tasks it seemed were non-poker tasks. Wagering a specific amount in the live casino, or on sports events, is not a poker promotion.

This is why I am not participating this time. If you are going to hold a joint promotion & brand it as such that's fine. But an 888 Poker promotion that is half poker, half other tasks is totally mis-leading.

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: April 15, 2018

Steven “Kale333” van Zadelhoff Notches Another Big Online Score, Wins 888poker Whale

This week’s $1,050 buy-in Whale drew 61 players who rebought 28 times. That meant a $100,000 prize pool was to be had for the final eight players. Among those to compete but fall short of the money were “SalsaFiesta,” Roman “Romeopro33” Romanovsky, Jans “Graftekkel” Arends, and bubble boy Martin “MJacobson888” Jacobson, the 2014 WSOP Main Event champ and an 888poker Ambassador.

Among those to cash were “PBD03” (7th - $4,500), “SkallePer58” (4th - $10,000), and “lovevalence” (3rd - $15,000). After just 6 hours and 44 minutes, Steven “Kale333” van Zadelhoff bested Sweden’s Niklas “tuten7” Åstedt in heads-up play to win $32,500. The Swede took home $21,000 for finishing runner-up.

Germany’s “Streusalz” Wins the Mega Deep… Again!

The latest $215 buy-in Sunday Mega Deep saw346 players take to the virtual felt and rebuy 109 times. That meant a $100K prize pool would be paid out to the top 48 spots including “SalsaFiesta” (29th - $680), “Al_Robbya” (13th - $1,350), Steven “Kale333” van Zadelhoff (7th - $2,750), and “Ur****Storm” (3rd - $10,750).

After 10 hours and 44 minutes, it was Germany’s “Streusalz” who bested Canada’s “GOLDENRUBY13” in heads-up play to win $19,250. It marks th second time “Streusalz” has won the Mega Deep in six months. He topped a field of 522 players back on October 8 to win it for $19,731.60.

“_Lord_Xenu_” Denies Bryan “DePittsterje” Paris GREAT 8 Title

The $88 buy-in, $30,000 GTD Sunday GREAT 8 attracted 283 players who rebought 115 times. That created a prize pool of $31,840 that was paid out to the top 40 spots including to 888poker Ambassador Parker “888tonkaaaa” Talbot (37th - $184.67), “EyeofSkadi” (24th - $318.40), “Hodor83” (17th - $318.40), Anton “VnilaVader” Herrmann (7th - $955.20), and “sweet_dr34ms” (4th - $2,547.20), who last Sunday won the $15,000 Turbo Mega Deep for $5,395.

After the UK’s “HeadsUpChump” exited in third place for $4,616.80, Switzerland’s “_Lord_Xenu_” and Canada’s Bryan “DePittsterje” Paris battled it out for the title. After 8 hours and 53 minutes in the tournament, the former prevailed to win $6,208.88.

Bryan “De
Pittsterje” Paris Rebounds with Monsoon Win

Bryan “DePittsterje” Paris may have come up one spot shy of winning the GREAT 8, but that didn’t happen in the $55 buy-in, $15K GTD Monsoon. He bested a field of 278 players (plus 100 rebuys) to capture a $3,865.05 top prize.

Others to finish in the top 36 and claim a portion of the $18,900 prize pool were “TheLINQ” (27th - $160.65), “Lucky_Frutti” (19th - $160.65), “88ANDREI88” (13th - $255.15), “Dablinov” (7th - $661.50), “HeadsUpChump” (6th - $850.50), Joao “Jaolito85” Marcs Navarro (4th - $1,606.50), and “Melapika” (2nd - $2,835).

XL Eclipse Champ “Namlleh” is Up for the Challenge

The $109 buy-in Sunday Challenge attracted 347 players who rebought 129 time. That meant a $50K prize pool was on tap and the top 48 players got a piece of it. They included “LuckyBoss” (38th for $285), 888poker Ambassador Chris “888Moorman” Moorman (27th - $340), “KURDEdersim” (16th for $675), “hateVAMOS” (8th - $1,125), and “asiarat” (3rd - $5,375).

A minute shy of nine hours in the tournament, Sweden’s “Namlleh” beat Russia’s “Marflon” in heads-up play to win $9,625. If you recall, “Namlleh” is an XL Eclipse champ, who back on February 20 finished runner-up in the $15,000 GREAT 8 for $2,641. His last documented win came back on October 18 when he took down the $10,000 Tornado for $2,195.

What to watch out for:

I merged and undeleted some of the numerous posts you posted in this thread. I'm curious what you thought would happen when you used someone else's credit card to fund your account? Also, the issue with the email address, all are valid security concerns for 888. They are doing what they are supposed to do to safeguard your account, and also the person who's credit card you used. Sounds like you didn't follow the T&C's to me.

Just do as you are asked by support and it will be resolved but it will most probably take up to 1 week to investigate as support are very busy at the moment.
You should have read the terms and conditions before you joined and you would have understood the rules.

and its so strange, see ive been a braves fan since i was old enough to watch them on tv,im from n.c. and i could as many braves fans watch 150 games a season on tbs.but,i moved to va 10 years ago and the braves was moved off of tbs and i couldnt watch them anymore.i had to have my baseball fix and masn was on cable in va.it was watch balt or the nats.i dont like american leauge baseball as much as i like the national leauge game,so i choose the nats to watch and fell in love with the team.even bob and f.p. seems like family now.hope we get completely healthy soon.it will be a very interesting year if we get healthy.playoff run for sure!go nats!.......and btw,i love what the braves are doing in the minors, they have drafted a great bunch down there, they remind me of a young astros minor leauge of 4 or 5 years ago,and we seen what they have done,so im excited about the braves near future!

That's quite rare...how can you be a fan of two teams within the same division? That's a serious conflict of interest.

XL Eclipse Champ “CalmRevolver” Takes Down Mega Deep

This week’s $215 buy-in Sunday Mega Deep attracted 393 players who rebought 126 times. Anton “anteen” Bertilsson Adds Whale Title to Impressive Résumé

The $1,050 buy-in Whale surpassed its $100K GTD by attracting 73 players who rebought 43 times. That generated a $116K prize pool that was paid out to the top 12 spots including “Biack88” (11th - $2,900), “B.Mitchell” (6th - $6,090), and “wellyxx” (3rd - $16,240).

“DR.Lorax” Weathers the Monsoon to Win $3,517

The $55 buy-in, $15K GTD Sunday Monsoon beat its guarantee by attracting 279 players who rebought 65 times. UK’s “summuNNN” Takes Down the Sunday GREAT 8

The $88 buy-in Sunday GREAT 8 – an eight-handed tournament that starts players with 8,888 in chips – attracted 270 players who rebought 116 times. That surpassed the $30K GTD by creating a $30,880 prize pool that was paid out to the top 40 spots including “Pipedream17” (26th - $206.89), “Streusalz” (16th - $463.20), Jans “Graftekkel” Arends (10th - $617.60), “Fukuruku” (5th - $1,698.40), and “dmnln” (3rd - $3,396.80).

The UK’s “summuNNN” nearly captured a second title on Sunday in the $55 buy-in Monsoon, which crushed its $10K GTD by attracting 220 players who rebought 64 times. In the end, “summuNNN” was denied by Germany’s “tier999111,” who won the tournament for $2,903.90 after 7 hours and 20 minutes.

“checcmate” Wins the Mega Deep

The $215 buy-in Mega Deep saw 337 players rebuy 89 times in their quest to compete for a $100K prize pool. The top 48 got paid and included “neverfoldQ5” (36th - $570), “PridvorD” (19th - $970), Jans “Graftekkel” Arends (9th - $1,750), “Canette_15” (5th - $5,250), and “TrollKonst8” (4th - $7,750).

After Canada’s “mndlssbrnt” exited in third place for $10,750, the title came down to “genbab10” and “checcmate.” After 10 hours and 33 minutes, the latter prevailed to win $19,250.

After 9 hours and 15 minutes, “tupastacerdo” defeated “Jesusisback” to win the title and $9,625 top prize. Back on April 5, “tupastacerdo” finished
runner-up in the $10,000 Thursday Cube for $2,100.
