Any answer?
The 888poker club is not the key indicators we use for upgrading of accounts. We do not publish these indicators as they are unique to our business and we wish to retain our competitive edge in this area.

Thanks,

Has anyone else noticed that they have lowered the prizes of all the most accessible tournaments for players that are starting?

The daily challenge that used to be $ 15,000 was lowered to $ 12,000
The mini Daily challenge that was $ 2,500 now $ 2,000
The Monsoon that I do not remember if it was 15,000 or 20,000 is now $ 10,000 !!

Well, I think that this policy is consistent with what they are doing since the beginning of the year, getting away more and more from the beggining players.
In general if a tournament doesn’t cover its guarantee for a while we try to improve the structure/satellites. If it’s still losing money we lower the guarantee.
Thanks!

I Have some serious question for 888Rep here. See, i've seen a lot of players bragging around to be upgraded to VIP level, Elite or whatever, before making it to level 100, however, i'm at the level 134 at this very point and still nothing happens. I know you have your account reviews and so before making a decision to upgrade a player to VIP level but frankly, starting this year i made a stunning jump for about 70 levels and nothing happens? How, why? I really feel that you guys just do not treat all players equally and frankly i do not feel welcome to your site anymore. Besides, every single request i had forwarded to your support team was rejected easily and my play through is beyond sick in last couple of months. Got me thinking that i should just leave 888, go elsewhere to play and start a blog about how you fellas treat your players quite differently...888 poker username: Nspire888

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: March 18, 2018

“ZDamian” Adds Sunday GREAT 8 Title to Online Résumé

The $88 buy-in Sunday GREAT 8 attracted 368 players who rebought 125 times. The 493-entry field offered up a $40K prize pool, and among the 48 players to earn a piece of it were 888poker Ambassador Chris “888Moorman” Moorman (23rd for $388), Fabricio “DrMikee” Gonzalez (19th for $388), “Kroat.” (9th for $700), and “adebisi5” (4th for $3,100).

After 9 hours and 11 minutes, “ZDamian” defeated “ElPadrePablo” in heads-up play to take down the $7,700 first-place prize. In January 2017, “ZDamian” ended up finishing second in the $500K GTD special edition Super Whale, which attracted 1,188 players who rebought 531 times.

“ZDamian” actually struck a heads-up deal with “Slaaasch” that saw him lock up $74,090 and the latter $69,382. With $10K left to play for, “ZDamian” flopped top pair only to run it into his opponent’s set.

“DrunkSpewer” Takes Down Mega Deep

The $215 buy-in Sunday Mega Deep saw 363 players rebuy 121 times and compete for their share of a $100K prize pool. The top 48 spots got paid and included “ZDamian” (47th for $480), Jans “Graftekkel” Arends (29th for $680), Chris “888Moorman” Moorman (24th for $970), Mark “hudmutt” Wilson (5th for $5,250), and “AkH0lic” (4th for $7,750).

After Preban “prebzzz” Stokkan busted in third place for $10,750, it set up a heads-up match between Lithuania’s “bomberman115” and Malta’s “DrunkSpewer.” After just over 10 hours in the tournament, Roberto “DrunkSpewer” Morra prevailed to take down the $19,250 top prize.

Back in 2015, Morra took down the EPT12 Barcelona Event #15: €1,100 NLHE Hyperturbo for $49,898. To date, he has $90,952 in live tournament earnings.

Patrick “d1sclosure” Leonard Bags Himself a Whale

The biggest buy-in of the day was the $1,050 Whale, which surpassed its $100K GTD by attracting 75 players who rebought 49 times. That created a $124K prize pool paid out to the top 12 spots. Among the trio to cash but fall short of the final table were “lasochobi” (12th), “Sjapster” (11th), and “tsonami80” (10th), each taking home $3,100.

There were some familiar faces at the final table including Roman “Romeropro33” Romonaovsky (9th for $3,720) and “OINKOinkOink” (4th for $11,780), but in the end it came down to Uruguay’s Fabricio “DrMiKee” Gonzalez and the UK’s Patrick “d1sclosure” Leonard.

After 8 hours and 7 minutes, the Leonard came out on top to win $34,100 while Gonzalez has to settle for a $22,940 consolation prize. It was the first documented win for Leonard on 888poker dating back to July 2016, which is when he won both the Mega Deep and Sunday Crocodile in a one-week period. The former good for $21,357 and the latter $12,654.

“TheLINQ” Weathers the Monsoon to win $3,128

This week’s $55 buy-in, $15K GTD Sunday Monsoon drew 258 players who rebought 48 times. That surpassed the guarantee by creating a $15,300 prize pool paid out to the top 36 players including “Fukuruku” (34th for $114.75), Roberto “DrunkSpewer” Morra (12th for $244.80), “mrpemite85” (5th for $887.40), and “Shansovnet” (3rd for $1,728.90).

After just over 7 hours, Russia’s Fedor “TheLINQ” Truntsev defeated “Baezil13” in heads-up play to lay claim to the $3,128.85 first-place prize. Back on February 22, Truntsev won the $5,000 Swordfish for $1,294, and on February 7 finished runner-up in the Monsoon for $1,804.

Sunday Challenge Ends in Heads-Up Deal

The $109 buy-in Sunday Challenge saw 348 players rebuy 131 times in their quest to earn a piece of a $50K prize pool. Among the top 48 players to earn a piece of it were “hudmutt” (27th for $340), Fabricio “DrMiKee” Gonzalez (10th for $875), “donkament1” (6th for $1,875), and “funplayer23” (3rd for $5,375).

After 9 hours and 10 minutes, a heads-up deal was struck between “LeshiyAS” and “iBustYa888” that saw the former receive $7,640.82 and the latter the title and $9,109.18 in prize money.

On Friday, “iBustYa888” finished runner-up in the GREAT 8 for $2,550, the same tournament he won the day before for $3,741. Also, a week before that on March 8, he won the GREAT 8 for $3,358. Not too shabby.

Exactly the type of answer i would expect from any of you fellaz at 888. It couldn’t be more plastic and less effort to give some practical and useful informations, even more, to be truth, if there was some more care involved it would sound as an artifficial intelligence corespondence from your end. You copy/paste answer that you already gave to other member, are you for real?I don’t even consider this as an answer, this is an insult

I understand the point, but maybe it's because the buy-ins are too high compared to other rooms and the prizes in cuestion. And if instead of lowering the buy-in, low down the prizes will be recorded even fewer people. It's just a suggestion. Thank you

We have lowered the buy-in of several losing tournaments (it’s a part of “we try to improve the structure” as I was saying previously).
We try our best to make the most attractive tournaments for our players in any way we can. Lowering the guarantee is usually our last resort.
Thsnks!

888POKER AND ONE DROP JOIN FORCES TO MAKE A GLOBAL IMPACT
Unique collaboration combining the love of poker with giving back to the community
888poker, one of the most popular online poker platforms in the world, and One Drop, an
international non-profit organization founded by Guy Laliberté whose mission is to provide
access to safe water to vulnerable communities around the world, have united in an exciting
new collaboration.
888poker and One Drop are gearing up for an exceptional first-time tournament – the World
Water Day Online Tournament – designed to provide players with maximum fun, while raising
awareness and funds to those in need of safe water and sanitation.
When 2.1 billion people live without safe drinking water at home, it is a tough task for one
individual alone to be able to make a major impact when it comes to safe water access.
888poker wants to help One Drop continue growing the movement it has initiated in the poker
world since 2012 to achieve a more global awareness through the power of numbers. The
initiative will kick off on 888poker on March 22, 2017, the United Nations-sanctioned World
Water Day. Participating in the World Water Day Online Tournament is a fantastic opportunity
to unite the poker community behind the worthy cause of critical water issues and play for a
prize pool of $5,000 at the same time. The affordable buy-in of only $11.11 makes it accessible
to both recreational and professional players. 888poker will be donating all fees collected from
the tournament to the One Drop organization.
“This will be One Drop’s first online poker tournament ever and we are confident that we have
found another great ally in 888poker. We are excited with the idea of being able to reach out to
their extensive community of online players to raise awareness and funds for critical water
issues. We sincerely hope that this collaboration will be the first of many more to come.” said
Alexandre Meunier, Senior Director of Special Initiatives at One Drop.
Since 2012, the poker community has helped One Drop raise over $20,000,000 to fund global
safe water access projects, helping to transform the lives of over 170,000 people in some of the
world’s most vulnerable communities.
888poker’s commitment to giving back is reflected in its people as well as in its online activities.
In fact, winner of the last WSOPE $111,111 One Drop event and 888poker ambassador, Dominik
Nitsche will be participating in the prestigious $1 million buy-in tournament – Big One for One
Drop – at the WSOP 2018.
“Our new collaboration with One Drop is a great milestone for us here at 888poker. Supporting
causes that improve the world we live in is an important part of our activities,” said Guy Cohen,
SVP Head of B2C, 888 Holdings. “We are excited to be able to offer our players the chance to
contribute to those in need, along with exclusive access to the most sought-after events in the
poker calendar.”
Due to the generous contributions from Guy Laliberté and Cirque du Soleil, 100% of funds
collected through the One Drop poker tournaments and initiatives go directly to the
communities for whom the money was raised.

About One Drop
One Drop is an international foundation created in 2007 by Cirque du Soleil’s founder Guy
Laliberté. At the core of our mission is access to water, sanitation and hygiene as a
transformative force to improve the living conditions of some of the world’s most vulnerable
communities. With the objective of delivering long-term impact and sustainability, we bring into
all of our projects a unique Social Art for Behavior Change approach that aims at engaging
communities in taking ownership and embracing adequate behaviors towards water, sanitation
and hygiene. This year, One Drop is celebrating 10 years of bringing sustainable access to safe
water to people around the world with projects in 11 countries that will reached over 1 million
beneficiaries.

I was transferred some money by another player, but I noticed the money went into my "bonus balance". As I played some games, the bonus balance increased. Why is that?

If I look under my bonuses, it shows nothing.

You must play the transferred amount 1 time to clear it for withdrawal.
You do not have to do it all at once though.
Thanks!

I have previously sent feedback over to the relevant department regarding this but whether they decide to do it or not in the future is in the balance.

I'm pretty sure I already played the whole amount transferred, but my "bonus" amount keeps increasing.

Did the rules change? According to this, I need to generate 50% of the transferred amount in rake:

https://www.888poker.com/real-money-poker/deposit/money-transfer/

The recipient should collect 1 Bonus Points per every $1 of the amount transferred in order to withdraw and/or re-transfer the money.
You can earn Bonus Points by:

  • Playing in poker ring games - earn 2 Bonus Points (if applicable) for every $1 of your contributed rake.

Hello, I have a question on deposits, they need to be done in certain days? 16:03 I have made a deposit, to 22.03 me tickets for depositors have come. Their term expires in 6 days. Earlier at least on 2 Saturdays was enough, and it was possible to play convenient time. And now both tickets need to be spent in one day. Or one ticket will just burn down. At these tickets have reduced validity period, or deposits need to be done in certain days? My nickname 12PITBUL12

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: March 25, 2018

Mark “PennyHrdaway” Darner Takes Down Mega Deep

The $215 buy-in Sunday Mega Deep offered up a $100K prize pool to the 334 players who competed (and rebought 87 times). Among those to finish in the top 48 and get paid were “Fukuruku” (31st for $680), “4timesBet” (17th for $970), Robin “Inho” Ylitalo (12th for $1,750), “Madeon1994” (8th for $2,250), and “Lucky_Frutti” (4th for $7,750).

After 10 hours and 10 minutes, Mark “PennyHrdaway” Darner, playing from Mexico, bested Sweden’s Apo “APOARSLAN” Arslan in heads-up play to win a $19,250 first-place prize. Darner has a slew of tournament cashes on 888poker including a win in the 2017 New Year’s Day $50,000 Sunday Challenge for $11,692.

Trio of Five-Figure Winners Deal in the Whale

The $1,050 buy-in Whale blew by its $100K guarantee by attracting 119 entries (70 unique + 49 rebuys). That created a prize pool of $119K paid out to the final table of nine. Among those to cash were “SkallePer58” (9th for $4,165), “hellohellooo” (6th for $6,545), and “summuNNN” (4th for $11,900).

After 7 hours and 37 minutes, the final three players worked a deal. Finishing in third place for $24,310.24 was “Kannwas,” while 2016 Mega Deep Anniversary winner “josef_shvejk” took second for $23,923.97. Winning the title and $29,115.79 in prize money was Sweden’s Anton “B.Mitchell” Wigg, who you might recall won the EPT6 Copenhagen for $672,818.

GREAT 8 Ends in Two-Way Deal

This week’s $88 buy-in GREAT 8 attracted 327 players who rebought 129 times. A $40,000 prize pool was up for grabs and the top 48 players got a piece of it including “Baambooo” (34th for $228), “summuNNN” (25th for $272), “88TIGER889” (10th for $700), and 888 regular “Fukuruku” (3rd for $4,300).

After 8 hours and 40 minutes, “ChaChoStyle” and “Dablinov” struck a heads-up deal that saw the latter earn $6,107.33 and the former $7,292.67 and the title. It was a nice score for “ChaChoStyle,” who back on February 12 placed 14th in the GREAT 8 for $274.40.

“Fukuruku” Breaks Through in the Sunday Challenge

The $109 buy-in Sunday Challenge attracted 341 players who rebought 125 times. A $50K prize pool was paid out to the top 48 finishers including “josf_shvejk” (23rd for $485), “JohnJone34” (15th for $675), “abmarin” (7th for $1,375), and “Ph4N888” (4th for $3,875).

After “n0sferatv” bowed out in third place for $5,375, Ukraine’s “Fukuruku,” who had several cashes on Sunday, squared off against Argentina’s “tinchoarce” in heads-up play. After 8 hours and 49 minutes, the Ukrainian emerged victorious to take down a $9,625 top prize.

A Pair of New Zealanders Final Table the Monsoon

The $55 Sunday Monsoon drew 258 runners who rebought 86 times. That helped surpass the $15,000 guarantee by creating a $17,200 prize pool that was paid to the top 36 spots. Among those to earn a piece of it were “Mr.Whittte” (30th for $129), “MttRaven” (20th for $146.20), “Jaolito85” (9th for $326.80), and “Flea_man11” (4th for $1,462).

Two players from New Zealand were at the final table. “NZhero007” finished in third place for $1,943.60, while “villagelife” defeated Russia’s “mne_d0edet1” in heads-up play to win the title for $3,517.40.

“villagelife” was less than two weeks removed from winning the $30 buy-in $2,500 8-Max Swordfish for $750. He also finished second in the Monsoon back on March 13 for $1,317.50, and on February 25 won the $1,000 GTD R&A for $490.50.
